There system is out of date, I always denies me all the time, saying I have inconsistencies income coming in which is false, I have pay coming every 2 weeks

This what it's been saying the last 6 weeks

"Unfortunately, we were unable to approve you for an advance limit this time.

We noticed some inconsistencies with your recent wages, which is outside of our scoring criteria. We require consistent wages of $400 per week or more.

You can refresh your wage advance limit again after 7 days at 2026-04-01 18:05:43 PST."

So I would not trust the company do you research before you get involved with this company

What a joke this company is"wagepay" get the same answer over,over every week saying I need to make $400 week, I make more then that, plus there employees the work there give the same answer over and over like it's from text book, you never get straight answer, very poor company

Horrible place to borrow from. I applied over 24 hours ago. Received an email that it was deposited to my account and it is still not in my account. You cannot speak to a live human being just a crappy AI named Wayne. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their website is terrible also

You can't reach anyone.
I made a payment using etransfer and wanted to make sure it was posted.
Day 3 no response no payment posted. Now im concerned ill be making the payment twice.
Will never use these guys again.
Customer service is bad.
You can't call anyone but a robot that gives you no useful information and then they just ignore your emails. Then if you send more than one they say not too.
Maybe if you respond to the emails you might not get multiple emails!
Imagine that.
Not to mention they take your payment a day before your payday! How is that helpful for people. Use a different company. Like Bree.

I was charged a WedgePay fee of 3.86% today at my preferred dispensary which is probably higher than many ATM fees.

I understand why dispensaries want to eliminate cash-based transactions but charging this high of fee certainly won’t encourage people to move away from cash in order to pay.

My dispensary chose to pass on the WedgePay fee but I won’t be using it any longer as I refuse to pay this fee when 99% of the benefits of that change of payment from cash to WedgePay go to the dispensary.

It’s not a big deal for me to go to a no-fee ATM and continue to pay cash.

Let me get a loan once then refused every time after i even paid my loan off sooner then I was supposed to

I have been denied 10 or 12 times now. Even though I make 1344 per check and 1500 when there is a statutory holiday. Something seriously wrong with their AI system. If I had a choice I would give them no stars. Quick and easy funds? Bullcrap. Lies and more lies. Very unreliable. I guess unless you are making $5000 a month but I don't know if there system can detect income at all.

Very disappointed. Like someone else wrote. My pay is $1400 I got a loan for $200 paid that off and got another for $200. I’ve been trying for over a month to reloan and keep getting denied cause I don’t pass the assessment. I don’t understand that when the loan has been paid off twice. Will not be using this service again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve never dealt with a company that claims to support working Canadians yet actively ignores, gaslights, and disrespects them like Wagepay does.

Let’s start with the facts: I’m a single mother, caring for my Type 1 diabetic daughter. I’ve paid off my previous loans in full, on time, and my income is consistent at $1,140 biweekly. I applied to reborrow—DENIED. No explanation that makes sense. Just denied, and now I’m left scrambling to afford essential medical items for my child.

I reached out to customer support, and what did I get back? A sarcastic, condescending reply: “Typing in capital letters won’t make it faster.” Wow. That’s the professionalism I get from a financial institution? That’s your idea of support?

Turns out I’m not alone. Hundreds of others have shared identical horror stories—repeated denials, months of no response, being locked out for ridiculous reasons, and robotic, cut-and-paste emails that answer NOTHING. I’ve read them. I’ve documented everything. I have screenshots, receipts, and a growing list of angry customers just like me.

To Wagepay: You should be ashamed of yourselves. You take advantage of vulnerable people, and your system is broken beyond repair. Expect this review to be the beginning. I’m escalating this to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection BC, Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, and more.

Your reputation is already crumbling. I’ll make sure the rest of Canada hears about it. I have no money for another week because of your stupid system, and my kid needs things, YOU SUCK

Had been using this company here and there for a year or so with no issues. Last two applications were rejected because I didn’t meet the $400 requirements when I make $1600 every two weeks. It won’t let you update your banking information either. Legit, doesn’t make sense. Needed a bit of help with a car repair and was declined. Won’t be using again.

Garbage. Took 3 loans out. Paid all 3 back no denied every time. Takes way to long to clear payments. Old school junk

They started out fine, your standard online company, the only issue was the length of time it took for their payments to clear, 4-5 business days whereas most places are a fraction of the time. I used them for over 8 months with no problems but now something has changed. I have been denied 3 consecutive times, with the strangest of reasons.

I was first denied as I was on an "unstable" ip address, I was applying through the app on my phone and I was locked out for a week. I tried again the next week and was denied as I failed their assessment and then locked out of applying for a week again. Emailing customer support was frustrating as well as it took 3 emails before I actually got an answer from someone that wasn't just a cut and paste and was actually relevant to my email.

I was just denied a 3rd time as I failed their assessment again. I want to state that nothing has changed since my first loan with them 8+ months ago, not my banking, not my employer or the amount I get paid. I make well over the weekly amount they require and I have no NSF charges on my account and I have never missed a payment with Wagepay.

If they work for you, great, but don't expect it to last and don't expect any kind of helpful response from their "support".

I'm being generous giving them two stars and the only reason I am giving them to stars is that for the first seven loans all is well other than the fact that they take way too long especially in this day and age to clear payments but that's nor here nor there but my grievance lies with reapplying and getting denied because I changed my direct deposit to a different bank although my history has been nothing but stellar they have no idea how to treat a customer because you only get generic responses templates from an application automated system

I’ve been denied 3 weeks in a row now. I’ve paid my loan back every time. I make $1300 every 2 weeks.

I got a little frustrated with the repayment date being pushed 1 day ahead of my payday. When I emailed regarding this, I was very surprised to see a detailed, professional response. Everything went smoothly. Now to figure out how to try another advance lol

First of all I was pleased at how quickly I set up my account and got an advance however I stated I get paid bi-weekly on Friday .Point in case is they tried to take it out a day earlier on Thursday. I tried contacting them a week before explaining the error they made yet no reply and now Thursday January 9th my account is overdrawn and my pay goes in Friday's at 5 pm central. By that time the wage advance will be sent back nsf.My first ever on my account. I get charged 48 dollars from my bank.When I applied they had my pay dates.Fridaynot a day earlier. They still haven't replied. It's their fault .Depending how they handle this I will see if I continue using them.Beware.

When I say they help they actually do . Without no hesitation.

Found this company over the interent. The straight forwardness of information on their website was very nice. Straight and clear and easy to follow. The entire process was quicker than any other loan website I've ever seen. Very impressive.
