Name.am is genuinely one of the best domain registrars out there.

I registered my very first domain with Name.am, and I’ve never had a single issue with them. Everything has been smooth from day one.

The dashboard is incredibly simple and easy to understand. Seriously, even a baby could register a domain on there. 😂

Their support is also great. They’re responsive, helpful, and they even provide free WHOIS protection, which is a huge plus.

The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the pricing, but honestly, that’s not really Name.am’s fault. .am domains are simply more expensive in general.

TL;DR:
If you’re looking to register a .am domain, I genuinely recommend Name.am. In my experience, they’re easily the best option available. The other registrars are kinda... well, let’s just say they’re not exactly the most supportive. 😭

I dont know why my last one was deleted.

This is really the best company I have used for hosting and domain purchases. I really love how fast they respond to any inquiry. I really enjoy working with them. Cant understand why some bad reviews even exist, seem like personal problems people like to blame on companies.

I have zero incentive for leaving this review. I simply have had continuous extremely pleasant experiences working with them for over 5 years now.

Best Armenian registrar out there. Their support goes above and beyond, helping even with things they don't need to spend their time investigating. Bravo! Quick and friendly service.

I called them and asked if the domains could be used without hosting. The support personnel did not seem to understand the question, so I clarified and asked "if I buy a domain from you can I set the nameservers to be the nameservers of DigitalOcean?" She said "no", and I asked "So how can I use the domain then? Only with hosts you provide?" And she hung up ...

The best domain name provider, quick and reliable. UI is very intuitive and has everything you need to get started.

My experience with Name.am’s hosting service has been unacceptable and highly unprofessional. The service was unilaterally suspended by the provider, after which all data in my hosting account was permanently deleted without proper warning, without giving me the opportunity to retrieve my files, and without providing any backup.

Company representatives clearly confirmed that:

none of my files exist anymore,

no backups were kept,

the data loss is final and irreversible.

This means my digital property was completely destroyed. Even more concerning, I was told that this practice is applied systematically to all customers, not just in my case.

The reminder emails I received contained no clear warning about permanent data deletion, no explanation of irreversible consequences, and no option to download or preserve my data. As a customer, I was not properly informed about critical risks.

If your website or data matters to you, I strongly do NOT recommend using Name.am’s hosting services. Based on my experience, data protection and customer rights are not treated with the seriousness they require.
