Sent my masthead unit on Friday, on Monday received an e-mail to say it had been fixed! got it back on Wednesday an the cost was very reasonable. Great service!

Took broken wind speed and direction sensor in to repair at the Stevenage factory, without prior appointment. They fixed it, re-bearinged it in 25 mins and charged me almost nothing. Brilliant service from a good UK supplier.

Bought a headmast wind unit, wind cups wouldn't spin below 6 knots. Quick check revealed the brass bushing on the spinning cups (they don't even use ball bearings) where causing friction on the shaft, no matter whether lubed or nut adjusted at different strengths. Contacted nasamarine explaining the issue, they bounced back saying "losen the nut a bit", yeah as if when checking the issue i didn't do that already. I asked if i could be sent a replacement spinning cup which costs like 16£, meaning it costs them probably 2£ tops. they didn't send it, even though i explained i was due a boat holiday soon and I couldn't be without a speed meter. The guy bounced back saying " we check the unit carefully" (implying their products can't be faulty, lol) and i was to send said defective part to them for them to inspect and check! I went and bought a spare part myself. So if you are looking for great quality control and great cuatomer care look no further people!

Good products at sensible prices and great service. Recently bought their Gas Alarm which is actually more compact than appears in their promotional literature. Struck up straight away but I lost one of the mounting thumbscrews. My fault but they replaced it without question and didn't even ask me to cover the postage. Excellent service. Well done!

Acquisto il bundle Nasa Clipper Wind System + Nasa Clipper Close Haul Meter insieme al Nasa Clipper Depth System su un sito inglese, i prodotti sono economici e sono paragonabili a prodotti cinesi, forse probabilmente proprio da loro li fanno assemblare. I Clipper Wind Sistem funzionano subito ma bisogna avere accortezza nel maneggiarli vista la qualità della componentistica meccanica, sembrano giocattolini. Il profondimetro è una "barzelletta" da numeri a casaccio. Provvedo a provare una riparazione in casa, onde evitare tempi biblici e spese di spedizione. Aperto il dispositivo arriva la scoperta, componentistica da hobbisti, saldature dozzinali e assenza di patina di tropicalizzazione, addirittura un Mosfet con il "case" tranciato per poterlo far entrare nel display.... Per non parlare dei manual service, dozzinali e inutili. Insomma nell'andar per mare meglio lasciare perdere Nasa Marine.
