I proceeded to the first door and a young man was sat behind the counter , couldnt be bothered attitude , i said i have some rings for sale and placed the box " amazon box maybe as i had to be discreet what i was carring " and he said what sort of rings, i said the ones you wear " he said with being an amazon box it could of been a door bell ring for all i know" jesus wept , has customer service got to this point that companies dont care who they employ and what they say, i was brought up that the customer is always right.
Once we established what rings, he said are they gold, i said yes but with Clearcut Diamonds and platinum , he replied " well we only buy gold and silver as scrap , we wont be interested" and did not even think to look in the box.
My friend who was with me said " oh theres another jewelers next door" of which he said " same shop they wont be interested"
So we have a jeweller who does not want to look at jewellery , they are only intersted on scap metal , gold and silver , I had for sale rings with an insurance value of over £50,000 of course i did not expect to get that but one of the rings if it was new has a price of 45,000 and it is in as new condition, oh well off to bohems they go as clearly Nathan and co are not interested in exquisite pieces.
