New lotto changes make the game not worth playing. Odds were bad enough before, but reducing prize money for the prizes that you are only likely to win is pathetic. Every lotto operator does the same thing. They either reduce the likelihood of winning by adding more numbers or reduce the payout for smaller wins.

All the propaganda over the 2 goes for £2 is a total scam -the winning prize for 3 numbers has been reduced by £20 to £10 and instead of a Lucky Dip for 2 numbers you win £1 half the cost of a lucky dip ticket

2 goes now Wow still the odds of winning are ridiculous and you don’t get the stake back so in reality for getting 3 numbers which isn’t easy is £8 !!!!!

The government as usual do nothing to help anyone getting conned in this country

Since changing from Camelot the lottery has gone downhill fast. What lottery ever has a prize tier of less than the cost of a ticket ! Not even a lucky dip now. Pure greed on the new operators part and I'll be avoiding it in the future. Omaze seems a better bet now or Postcode Lottery.

New lotto is a total con! 2 chances of winning less? The prize pot should be shared out! Who needs more than a million pounds to change their lives? If I hadn’t had the same numbers since it started I wouldn’t be doing it anymore!

This new lottery prize structure is garbage, they might have well dropped back to £1 a game I have played regularly for years, not anymore. I think others have voted with their feet too, as the rolldown prize was only 9.2M that’s 600,000 sold tickets down on normal.

My frustrations with the iPhone app is as follows
1. Log on fine but when I want to withdraw with the correct password it says it is invalid. Only way around this is to log in via the internet and I can successfully withdraw.
2. When you play the lottery. I can see the results soon after the draw but if I buy a ticket on the app I have to wait ages for them to confirm if I have won. I end up checking it manually as I take a screenshot of the ticket.
3. I was playing an instant win game and was not warned about the upcoming maintenance downtime and whilst in the middle of the game it was ended and I lost the game and my fee and when it reconnected I couldn’t continue with the game which looked promising.
4. You can only contact them by phone during there office hours. Also you have to use the website to contact them via chat.
So as you can see the app is not the best way using their games.

When asked to give star rating there isn't a choice for no stars!!! The new lotto is rubbish the numbers generated dont seem that random and how likely is it that since it changed no-one has got 6 balls even with 2 sets being drawn, rubbish and fixed!!!! Sort it out!!!!!

The new lotto changes are utter rubbish, lotto is finished as long as Alwyn run it, it’s gone backwards 30 years in prize money and doubled in cost, Alwyn are simply greedy and ripping off the public. I thought Camelot were bad but at least the prize money was ok ish, it’s pathetic now, get rid of Alwyn make it state run and worth entering. £10 for 3 numbers, morons, it was that in 1990s when it started and only cost a pound then, also taken away a £2 free lucky dip in the next draw for getting 2 numbers and replaced it with a £1 win, what brain dead moron came up with that, gone from winning a £2 prize to winning £1 now. They’re a total joke, they should have their licence revoked ASAP, it’s clearly a rip off for their own greed. My employees which total over 12,000 people over numerous sites were all in company syndicates, each person spent £4 PER WEEK for both draws in those syndicates, that’s £48,000 every week my employees were giving Alwyn for playing. Since the ridiculous changes my employees have shut down the syndicates and no longer play the Lotto at all, they have found an alternative, I know thousands of people and their family’s that have dumped lotto now. Alwyn you’re a joke, move on and leave the lotto.

Total garbage, twice the chance to win, but they are laughing, drop the prize money by 2/3s pay it out twice still 1/3 extra profit for them. How can " winning" less than a ticket costs, be " winning" its a joke. Web site is always down. Will stop playing it.
The Thai lottery is so much better 1 jackpot prize of 6mill baht, but you can buy the same numbered ticket 12 times. 100 draws for all 6 numbers for 100,000 baht, 50 draws for all 6 numbers 80,000 baht. 5 numbers from 6 , draws, first three number from 6 draws 4,000 baht last 3 numbers from 6 4,000 baht, last two numbers on your ticket 2,000 baht. Each ticket costs 100baht 80 baht in some places. Results can be checked instantly online, not like the National lottery, 3 or 4 hours later. The draw is televised, takes over an hour, but lots more people benefit, and you are guaranteed to win the minimum of 1900 baht more than the ticket costs,if you win. Vendors sell the pre printed 6 digit tickets in shops, malls, on foot etc.

Stopped playing since the prize money has been altered,was better when you got £30 for 3 numbers but they have lowered all the lower payout, it's just a gimmick 1 ticket 2 chances at least before you had a chance of a small win say the £30 that was Ok but now no way I'll be playing.

Also at a lower level just email and say you won a quid ?? Lucky dip was always emailed so you knew

I am very disappointed with the UK National Lottery. In my experience, I have spent money on scratch cards and used the app regularly, but I have rarely seen any meaningful returns. It often feels like money goes in without much chance of getting anything back.

The advertising creates excitement about winning, but my personal experience has been frustrating. After buying multiple scratch cards and using the app, I have not had the results I expected. Because of this, I feel the service offers poor value for money.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a realistic chance of winning. It feels like the odds are heavily stacked against ordinary players.

The changes to National lottery effecting the payouts are awful- I have played for years but won’t be playing again - that’s it for me.

The National Lottery app and website are hopeless.

Since Allwyn took over from Camelot, it feels like things have been changed just for the sake of changing them, and not for the better.

Even when you win a prize, they make it painful. You get an email telling you to log in, then you log in to see you have won something, then you have to click into a message, and only if the message actually opens do you finally see the amount.

After 10 minutes fighting with a poor, constantly timing-out webpage, it turns out the prize was £1. They could have just said that in the email.

It was painful enough before with Camelot, but Allwyn have somehow managed to make it worse.

I have played since day 1 but I am seriously considering stopping. I wish when they introduced the two draws per week that I'd stopped then. What started off at a £1 a week is now £4.

So the new prize for three numbers is £10 , it used to be £10 for three numbers before , only difference is it was a £1 a go before now it’s £2 , but you get two chances to win , woohoo two chances to win less than before , and don’t get me started on the higher prizes , 5 numbers = £1000 WTF , one number off the maximum is only a grand , I thought Camelot were bad but the clowns running it now are just scamming the nation , played for 30 years religiously, havent played now for two weeks and counting …… religiously, if I play a lottery now it will be the Irish , much much better prizes and odds.

I have had nothing but problems since this new update on the lottery app. I can’t access my money, I can’t log in half the time, and when advised by the call centre to delete my card and reinstall it does not recognise it!! Still waiting for confirmation now

The lottery should be for the nation not for a company. Lotto should be non profit get rid of allwyn. Spread the prizes more evenly its hard to get 4 5 or 6 numbers and the prizes are poop.

I suspect all the the changes to the app and the games is meant to increase the money Allwyn takes home and nothing for the players.
1 x ticket for the lottery but 2 x chances means half x actual winnings. What's the point, and the results aren't immediate either, all looks quite dodgy

Repeatedly cannot sign in. When I can sign in I have an "unconfirmed" purchase, which has been there for months.
The App simply doesn't work.
I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times to no avail.
I have just deleted the app for the last time and will, on the odd occasion I remember, buy a ticket from a shop.
