We are a family run independent training provider based in Bolton in the Northwest. We have over 43 years experience of working within the Police, Prison and Private Security Industries and have delivered learning programmes for thousands of learners. We provide learning programmes from Level 1 to Level 7 in various sectors including First Aid, Security, Licensing, Hospitality, Functional Skills and Management. We specialise in the Security sectors with Security Officer, Door Supervisor, Close protection, CCTV, CViT, Handcuffs and Stewarding qualifications being offered from our Approved and Accredited training centre in Bolton. We also now deliver the brand new Security Refreshers as from the 1st October 2024. We are friendly and helpful, and we offer free advice and guidance where required. We also have tutors, assessors and Internal Quality Assurers on site to ensure that quality and standards are raised and maintained.

Poor facilities 0nly 3 lights working out of 6 .
People struggling with knee pain and back pain spending long periods on a dirty floor .
No apparatus was cleaned and also no lunch included.
Course felt hectic and unorganised paperwork everywhere.
Equipment not fit for purpose faulty manikins and defibrillators.
Language a issue from course instructor very dissatisfying.

I am sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us, however i would like to take this opportunity to explain a few things:
There are 8 lights in that classroom and yes 3 are out, we are awaiting an electrician (landlord is sorting this), you were offered to move to a seat nearer the window but declined this.
We can not control peoples health issues including knee and back pain. However we did provide mats to kneel on, all learners are made aware of the kneeling on the floor requirement. The floor is hoovered regularly as learners leave rubbish everywhere, how long the learner is in the floor depends on how long it takes them to fulfil the learning criteria, some learners do it first time, others take a few attempts.
All apparatus is cleaned prior to all courses, if learners can't use them correctly then it may appear unsuitable, we have learners lifting the head back which brings it off the hinges/links, the defibs were working fine, one of the defibs required a change of battery which has now been done, but it was fit for the purpose of the course and didnt stop you covering the required criteria.
We have never offered, nor felt the need to, offer a lunch, it potentially would bring other issues like allergies/choices and obviously the price would have to increase, don't forget this was a one day £125 course that your employer booked you onto, we are not making much profit on this and are keeping the price as low as we can. Thank you for your review, we will take on board anything that we feel we can improve on for the future.
