If I could put lower stars I would, harassed into making a claim via them back in April 2023, in August I was notified via Hmrc that I was due some money back and a cheque had been sent to this company, fast forward to today and I still haven't received a penny of that money, I've had no communication from this company, nothing, I've tried calling to which the phone number asks you to leave a message and they will get back to you which they never do and I've tried emailing countless times to which again nothing, this company are nothing but a scam who are after your money, avoid at all costs!

Have recieved letter from hmrc saying i am owed money which has now been sent to nationwide ppi advice and Ive not yet seen a penny. They have not returned any communication I have with them. Just checked my Personal Tax Account on Gov website and it clearly shows that hmrc have paid out the money. Where is money please?

This company contacted me back in spring and hassled me into making a claim with HMRC for over paid tax. I went ahead and gave them all my details.
At the beginning of November HMRC sent me an email to say that I have overpaid tax and they are sending a cheque to Nationwide PPI. The company have not sent me my cheque and I have tried calling them and I have sent numerous emails which they are ignoring. Therefore I believe they have stolen my money and I am considering reporting them to the fraud department. If the company sees this review then please do not reply and ask me to email you. Because I’ve done that numerous times. You can look up my details and call me yourself.

Update 5/1/24 - I am still chasing these people by email and leaving messages on answer phone and they are still not returning my calls. I believe they have stolen my money and I am now going down the legal route.

Update 9/1/24 - You have commented on this post asking me to contact you. Although I have emailed you lots since November, I have done as you asked and emailed you again TODAY. Let's see if you do actually respond. I have included my email, my phone number and all my personal details so it should not be hard for you to make the effort.

18/1/24 this company are still ignoring my daily voicemails and emails. therefore I have had no other option than to report them to the Action Fraud Team. I strongly advised people NOT to use this company as it is unlikely that you will ever see your money.

After months of having no contact with this company I have now been informed by HMRC that they issued a cheque which was sent to nationwide PPI ltd it's been cashed but unsurprisingly they have no knowledge of this steer clear of this shambolic so called company I feel for the other people in my position that have been blatantly taken for a ride by this group of oxygen thieving individuals I hope they are eventually caught and dealt with appropriately as this has been going on far to long I have contacted HMRC fraud and action fraud will be notified qué the response? UPDATE NICOLA E-MAILED HOORAY. LOOKING AT IT THEY HAVE TAKEN MONEY FROM THIS YEAR'S TAX REBATE EVEN THOUGH THEY ONLY HAD AUTHORITY TO CLAIM UP TO 21/22 EXPLANATION PLEASE.
Update Jan 2024 sent a message from Nicola asking for my bank details! Even though they have no authority from me for 2022-23 they still carry on regardless am I like many others being taken for a ride this company are ruthless and dare I say it basically boils down to theft in my eyes absolute bloody nightmare. UPDATE AS OF 23/01/2024.advised to pay money received into my tax account amount received by nationwide PPI advice £2416.
Amount received by myself £1400.
They have told me this payment was for ppi absolute rubbish I now owe HMRC £1000. I have asked for all my information they hold and proof of signed documents for years they were entitled to act on my behalf which nationwide PPI advice have emailed me but I still cannot believe they had access to my personal tax affairs for 22/23 and have taken money I had saved for my end of year self assessment payment, when all documents have been received I shall be involving everything and everyone to bring there fraudulent actions into the public eye as many others here are also doing let's try and stop this happening to anyone else.

This company contacted me re being owed a refund of tax on my PPI Claim. They knew all my details and I therefore eventually agreed to go with them
I have since found out how they had all the information on me and it is because I used Ingenious Legal to get my PPI Claim in the first instance.
The owner of this company is married to the owner of Nationwide PPI Advice Ltd.
This explains how they got all my info.
To be fair I did get a refund of tax but now have been informed by the tax office that I owe them nearly £4000.
On querying this I was informed that Nationwide PPI Advice had informed the Tax Office at least twice that I had savings of so many thousands of pounds and therefore I owed the tax office.
At no point did I say I had savings as I do not.
This company has lied and submitted paperwork on my behalf to the tax office and committed Fraud
I would not use this company as they are dodgy in my case committed fraud
I can only assume it is so they do not have to pay tax that they should be paying.

This company harassed me into making a claim on 4th August 2023.They have now recieved my Tax Refund and failed to pass the payment on.
They are not responding to emails and are not contactable by phone.
Now reporting for fraud

After leaving a bad review the company called me to arrange payment and I received the cheque within a couple of days in time for Christmas. My issue was resolved after 4 months but just glad to have the money owed to me.

What can I say except a big thank you for your support and kindness's,and for transferring my refund so quickly ,in time for Christmas thank you once again

I have received my refund today for a ppi tax return the service was fast and efficient and i had good communication with the office.

TAX REFUND.....like so many others here I too received notification from HMRC that I was due tax refund back in August 2023. I never heard another word from Nationwide PPI Advice, so contacted HMRC in October notifying them. Had a letter back today (30/12/23) asking me to get in touch with Nationwide directly, but I didn't have any details of their email address or their business address until today. I have both written and emailed them now, so I await a reply. Action Fraud will be contacted soon as well. I'm an OAP and this is so stressful. Not happy with this company at all. Hope they make good.

If there was an option for zero stars they would have got that.AVOID at all costs.Scam artists.hmrc sent them my cheque in september,but still not received anything from them.Tried to contact several times with no joy,they tell you to e-mail,and when you do you still get no response.Am going down legal channels now.AVOID......After adding this review,they did reply to my latest email,and paid out within 3 days.Their communication is non existent,and beware as they will have full control over your tax matters,not just ppi!!!!!! They had my refund for more than 2 months,earning interest,and then pay out half of the rebate, extortionate

Got a call back from Nicola , she was extremely helpful and has guaranteed my money will be sent

Having received three letters from HMRC telling me they had refunded an amount of tax sending it to nationwide ppi advice in first week of October I thought it might be sent,after an admin fee, to me. No and HMRC gave me a number to call but that is suspended. Referred to action fraud and have emailed nationwide ppi but am starting to think this may be a scam.I have been contacted finally and received a payment but perhaps trying to earn a little interest by hanging onto the money might not be the best way forward.

Very unsure to begin with , however good communication through out, received cheque as guaranteed.

Informed to search for ppi yet was later informed from hmrc of a £335 tax refund which has been sent out to this company took me this to email them and find out why they searched for tax not a ppi claim.

Now receiving less than half of this back.

After reading all these reviews 😬, I have just sent them an email looking for my payment as its been near 5 weeks since HRMC issued payment for my refund. I understand they take a fee but fingers crossed it's not extortionate as the experience to date has been nothing short of stressful.
Will update review if/when they get back to me

Update: My email replied too within hours and hopefully payment will be made within 7 days. Yes they might be busy but holding onto clients funds until they make contact is not a great process. Updated rating accordingly.

Update: Payment received. This is an absolute crime. I don't even remember signing up to allow this company to put a claim into HRMC on my behalf but then again I probably thought, nothing to lose and in hindsight I did gain a few hundred pound that I may never had received (I think). Nationwide PPI Advice Ltd fees are broken down as follows: Primary charge is 33.3% + VAT of any money owed to you plus a 50.00 admin fee. If I had known this at the start I would've probably sought another company. Be careful folks this is pretty much daylight robbery. Luckily I didn't have an extreme amount owed to me.

Very impressed with this company, Nationwide PPI advice. I found them to be very professional with dialling with my claim and they keep you informed throughout the prosses. Yes you may have to wait for your rebate due to their volume of work, but your rebate will be sent directly to you. I can't, but only recommend for their professionalism.

After sending details of my bank account which u asked for so you could pay my refund straight into my account I am still waiting for it to go in there why tell me I will receive payment within 7days and then 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for it I know for a fact that a cheque was sent to you so why have u not made payment
