From the minute we first enquired about Belize to the debrief after the holiday, Karen has been amazing. Belize is a lovely country and Naturally Belize organised a well balanced trip based on our interests. All transfers, tours and hotel stays went smoothly but it was reassuring to know that Naturally Belize staff were available via WhatsApp if we had any queries. We were provided with a very comprehensive itinerary/information file which was very helpful. Fantastic holiday, Naturally Belize organised everything really well, from meeting at airports, forward travel, wonderful places to stay. The Belize people were so welcoming, weather good, food great and we saw marvellous wildlife in the jungle and when snorkelling which was fantastic.

Naturally Belize helped organise a trip for us and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. All accommodation was as described and they were available for questions or help whilst on the trip. Highly recommend.

An exceptionally positive experience from my recent 3-week adventure, expertly organized by the NB team. As a solo traveler, the assurance of having every detail meticulously handled by Giacomo was truly invaluable. The planning phase was a standout. Giacomo's flexibility and extensive knowledge were impressive, and their suggestions for additional excursions genuinely elevated my journey. I took many of those recommendations, and each proved to be a fantastic experience. A significant advantage was the provision of local contacts in each country. Knowing someone was readily available to assist with any changes or potential issues offered immense peace of mind. For instance, when a potential flight snag emerged, the local team resolved it with remarkable efficiency and professionalism. Frankly, this trip was a 10/10 experience. They undoubtedly earned me as loyal customer and will 100% use again.

Naturally Belize are amazing. They planned our honeymoon flawlessly. Every transfer, every document, and every booking was completed well in advance. When we has a slight issue with one of our excursions, the team worked on Christmas day to make sure it was fixed and convenient for us. The issue was resolved happily and efficiently. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would trust them to sort any future visits. Big shout out to Giacamo for his hard work and attention to detail on all his careful planning.

Naturally Belize were fantastic in curating and tailoring the perfect family holiday for us! From flights to mexico (where we arranged our own tour), arranging a driver to the Belize border who helped us negotiate the crossing and then a two centre adventure in Belize, everything was arranged to perfection! We had a fantastic time in the Lamanai jungle (our 9 year olds animal diary is an impressive read!) and a lovely few days in san pedro where we snorkelled with sharks, rays and turtles and enjoyed some beach time. The support from naturally Belize was fab and the documents sent to us before the trip even included a field guide of the fish we saw in the reef. We would not hesitate to recommend using this company to organise a trip to Belize!

We have just returned from an incredible family adventure in Belize, where everything ran to plan (although not to time, just part of the charm of Belize). The knowledge, support and expertise from Naturally Belize meant that we went to some amazing places and it all ran so smoothly, we felt very relaxed throughout our 2 weeks. Highlights were our stay at their recommended jungle lodge, seeing incredible wildlife (including hundreds of bird species, monkeys, tarantula, snakes and porcupines), exploring Mayan ruins and swimming in a lagoon with crocs. Then our stay on the barrier reef, at a tiny Caye they recommended was just out of this world. We stayed in a shack on the water, enjoyed local food and snorkelled with rays, sharks and incredible fish. Other highlights were the amazing local guides who accompanied us, ziplining across the forest canopy, cooking a traditional Mayan lunch in a village in the jungle and then the villa at the end of our stay where we luxuriated in aircon and enjoyed rum punches and a swimming pool! July & August is low season in Belize so we had many things to ourselves and never queued for anything. Belize is wonderful destination for a family adventure (athough it is very hot and humid!).

We had a month travelling from coast to rainforest down Belize to Guatamala and then back again, from rainforest lodges and island hotels. Every transfer, collection and ferry journey went very smoothly, someone was always waiting for us and would be checking that the next leg of the journey was sorted. This was pretty amazing considering the number of transfers we took over the 4 weeks. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Giacomo was really helpful to arrange the trip with, all the guides and hotels were lovely and we had a most fantastic trip.

We had a wonderful holiday in Belize, thanks to Naturally Belize. Karen gave us a range of options to produce a holiday tailored to meet our needs and interests. We opted to stay in five locations, spending three nights in each. The accommodation was excellent in every case and the pre-booked excursions were first class, not least because of the knowledgeable local guides who taught us so much about the local birdlife, the flora and Mayan history. Without exception, we found the Belizean people to be friendly and welcoming and we just loved being in the country. We are very happy to recommend both Belize and Naurally Belize, who did us proud.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Giacomo and Karen were excellent in finding us the right destinations and places to stay after we discussed what we were wanting to do and the type of accommodations we like.
Belize is a must for anyone who likes nature and the sea (snorkelling) . We felt like we had been on 3 different holidays when we came home.
We went to Lamanai Eco Lodge for 4 nights which was absolutely amazing from the start to finish. As soon as we boarded the boat along the river to reach the lodges we knew that we had chosen something special. Stunning birds and other wildlife which we saw along the river and whilst we were there included crocodiles, iguanas, howling monkeys and tarantulas along with other creepy crawlies but nothing was ever found in our lodge which was inpecably clean. Abdul was our guide for most of the trips we chose and he was amazing, such a credit to Lamanai Lodge . He is so passionate about everything which is evident when hes talking with you. Everything else was perfect and the food portions were enormous so we asked for half portions so we could try everything offered. All the staff provided excellent service too.
Our second destination was Mystic River in the Cayo district for 3 nights which again was very good. We visited mayan ruins which was a long day out but well worth it. The food at Mystic River was first class and very high quality. We always looked forward to our evening meals.
The accommodation was nice, right by the river and we spent an afternoon by the quiet swimming pool where we were waited on with delicious smoothies. A word of warning, although we used lots of tropical mosquito spray we were bitten a few times but thats to be expected because of the environment and humidity. I did find the mattress too hard for me especially after the comfortable bed we had at Lamanai Lodge, but thats just personal taste. I like softer mattresses.
Our final destination for 5 nights was at Matachica in Ambergris Caye which is an adult only resort. Superb thatched accommodation which again was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable beds. A very laid back place which was nice after a fairly hectic few days doing trips etc. We did a snorkelling trip which was excellent, we saw lots of different colourful fish in the corals including huge rays, turtles, baracudas and reef and nursing sharks. The only critism is that you cant snorkel from the shore here but you can take out a kayak and tie it to a bouy to do some snorkelling further out. It is extremely difficult to get in and out of the kayak when at sea so I didnt attempt it. However we did know this was the case as it was explained to us by Naturally Belize when we booked the holiday.
We hired a golf cart for 3 days but 1 to 2 days would have been enough. We booked it online and the cart was delivered to the hotel as it was a lot cheaper than organising it via the hotel.
Trips were very expensive through the hotel as they add on the tax and service charge so be warned that the cost they advertise is not the price you pay! However we did go on the sunset cruise which was a nice early evening trip.
We found the food here very expensive too but again we thought this would be the case as we had seen on previous reviews.
We had the continental breakfast included in our stay but we were disappointed in this as we were only offered granola or pastries which consisted of 2 small cakes and a very small portion of fruit. Anything else you had to pay extra for and this wasnt cheap either.
The swimming pool was wonderful and so peaceful and exceptionally clean.
Apart from the high cost of the food and trips, we did enjoy our stay here and wouldnt have changed it.
We particularly loved all the friendly people in Belize and enjoyed every minute of our holiday.

The organisation of our 2 location trip to Belize was perfect. The team (Giacomo) at Naturally Belize were always available either for a chat to discuss options for excursions, or via email to confirm arrangements, pick up, small queries. All of our guides were very knowledgeable and tailored our outings to suit our interests. We were given personal service. The Mystic river resort was beautiful and included excursions to Mayan ruins and canoeing, hikes, visits to local towns and markets. The daily special was delicious every evening and being able to watch the wild life at breakfast was delightful. I’m glad the team at Naturally Belize chose to work with this resort.
The choice of excursions offered is extensive and will suit all tastes. For example, during our journey from the rain forest to Placencia on the coast, we stopped off to ride the longest zip line in Belize and enjoy the wonderful views over the rain forest. Just stunning.
The choices for accommodation were brilliant. We chose Belizean Nirvana, right on the beach in Placencia which included free use of canoes, paddle boards, sun loungers with very comfy mattresses. The apartment itself was immaculate and included a jacuzzi! Breakfast was freshly prepared everyday, and included Belizean breads, pies and cakes.
I believe that Naturally Belize chose the best partners to work with in the region and everything offered was of the highest standard. One of the partners was Splash Dive centre. We did 2 separate trips with them to coral reefs at Silk Cayes and to Monkey river. Both were excellent excursions; we were collected and dropped on time from our accommodation, looked after extremely well, and offered excellent lunches!
We would be more than happy to travel to Central America with Naturally Belize in the future and are already planning a trip to Ecuador & Galapagos!

A great balance of accommodation and trips at an affordable cost. The provision of an information booklet was useful and if something needed clarified they were on hand and very responsive. Also Belize is a wonderful country

The team at Naturally Belize were amazing putting the perfect itinerary together for us for our first holiday to Belize. They gave us various options to choose from, taking everything into account we wanted to get our of our holiday within our set budget.
All hotel bookings, transfers and tours were perfectly organised. They were contactable 24/7 for emergencies and had arranged a group whatsapp for us. When we had a problem with one of our accommodation, Naturally Belize immediately contacted the hotel which resulted in a nice room upgrade which made a huge difference. Thanks to everybody at Naturally Belize to arrange such a fantastic holiday for us! I can strongly recommend them.

A first rate company who were incredibly knowledgeable about Belize so were able to tailor our tour to exactly what we wanted to get out of an adventure holiday. Communication with Karen was excellent and documents provided before we left were really detailed and helpful. If you are thinking of going to Belize, use this company - they are the experts.

My Dive Buddy and I have travelled extensively (mainly to destinations that include scuba as an option); for the majority of our trips I have made the arrangements. We had visited Belize nine years earlier in 2015. Our trip to Belize was so good that we decided that we would go back. Our previous trip had encompassed three different bases both in the rainforest and at the beach allowing hikes through the rainforest, visits to ancient Mayan sites as well as some diving.
I started out with an internet search looking for companies providing holidays to Belize. Then I checked what was being offered as well as the relative costs. Different providers were offering different potential packages so costs were difficult to compare making this a subjective process. The more serious companies would tailor any package to our requirements. The result of my analysis came down to Naturally Belize. My Dive Buddy agreed with my assessment so I contacted them and arranged a meeting at their offices in late 2023. All of the arrangements could have been made over the phone and via email etc. A meeting between both of us and the people arranging our trip allowed us to, properly discuss things with them, clearly explain what we wanted and assess both their understanding of our wants and their expertise regarding Belize; gaining that sort of clarity otherwise could have taken numerous emails and phone calls.
We were impressed with the Naturally Belize staff, Karen was our main point of contact and both she and her colleagues clearly demonstrated knowledge of Belize and specific destinations that could only have been gained by visiting the areas and lodges/hotels concerned. We came away from our meeting happy that our requirements had been understood.
Within nine days of our meeting Karen had provided us with three costed options for a trip that varied in the dates and locations involved but that all met our requirements. The two of us discussed the options and within two weeks had confirmed our choice with Karen. Three days after that we had completed the booking form and paid the deposit. Later we paid the balance on time and everything else went as expected. Karen was available via email or on the phone to answer any questions.
Our actual trip was for 3 weeks from mid-April 2024 through early May. Because there were no direct flights to Belize we required an overnight stay in Miami. Our time in Belize was spread across four locations. Chan Chich Lodge a lodge in the forest of Orange Walk District, Black Rock Lodge in the Cayo District, Belizean Nirvana a small hotel in the Stann Creek District and finally Hickatee Cottages in the Toledo District. We had also specified a couple of tours while in Belize; firstly a day trip from Black Rock to the massive Tikal Mayan site in Guatemala and secondly a chocolate trip from Hickatee Cottages to see the farming and processing of the chocolate pods. We wanted the freedom to choose other tours as and when we wanted.
I have arranged quite a few trips around the world. For me where the need for a company such as Simply Belize comes in is two main area. Firstly being able to discuss what you want with people who know the country have visited the area and the hotels/lodges where you might stay. Secondly having someone not just book the accommodation but arrange for transfers between different locations. Sorting all of this for yourself can be a nightmare.
Our trip involved four international flights, the USA being a staging post to and from Belize, two internal flights three longer road transfers between locations and not forgetting the shorter road trips to pick up our internal flights. There comes a time when it just makes sense to leave the work to someone else. Nearly everything went like clockwork. We had a slight issue when our transport to take us from the Sir Barry Bowen airport in Belize City to Chan Chich Lodge was an hour and a quarter late but that was due to a local mistake, the arrangements and correct times had been provided. When we got to the Toledo District our Chocolate Tour turned out to be unavailable, the place we were supposed to visit was closed. However the guide who was to take us on the tour made an impromptu arrangement to visit a Mayan home where we had what was to my mind the best tour we did on our entire holiday. Again nothing that Simply Belize could have foreseen.
I would thoroughly recommend Belize as a holiday destination to anyone, whether you want to hike through the rainforest or lie on a beach. We had a truly amazing holiday and I can only thank Karen and the Simply Belize team for arranging such a fantastic holiday for us.
