Anchored in the beautiful coastal town of North Berwick, on the east coast of Scotland, NB Distillery is a multi-award winning Distillery. Crafters of small batch, high quality Scottish Gins and exceptional Scottish Rums, all made from scratch at their purpose-built eco Distillery. NB Gin is the perfect, classic gin. Expertly balanced, clean, fresh and wonderfully smooth. It was voted World's Best London Dry Gin in 2015, selected by the Royal Family on two monumental occasions and served at the Brit Awards. Just some of their amazing success stories! They also produce a range of fine Scottish Rums that sit proudly alongside their gins. NB Distillery invites you to "Learn, Sample and Relax" on their fabulous Ginspiration Experience, awarded 5 stars by Visit Scotland. Enjoy a welcome NB G&T on arrival while you learn all about the NB story, Gin and Rum making process and meet the majestic stills. Then time to relax in the beautiful tasting lounge for a guided tasting of a 'flight of 3 NB Gins and a final drink of choice, including a NB Rum. The unique venue is also available to hire exclusively for any special occasion, network event or meeting. Or, just pop by to visit the distillery, see the majestic copper stills and buy at great prices from the Cellar Door Shop. Ideal day trip from Edinburgh - only 30 minutes on the train and a short taxi ride to the distillery, located near Tantallon Castle. Brilliant customer service!
All now happily resolved. NB Distillery were in no way responsible for the delay.
So far not good! After recommendation from previous customer I was expecting the birthday gift to be delivered in time for 7th September allowing for a waiting time of a week or so. Do you have a date in mind when delivery might be possible?
Thanks

Poor presentation for the price you pay
Back in 2018 I purchased a bottle of the first batch of the rum. It came with a presentation sticker to tell you when it was born and that it was first batch.
I saw they had a new rum with a price tag of almost £65. Fully expected it would come with the same presentation of atleast a sticker. Unfortunately what i received was a bottle that had been scribbled on with a sharpie to say what bottle number it was and the % vol was also handwritten on.
I think for that price point, handwritten sharpie is a bit of a kick to the consumer. Just my opinion.

Thank you for your review and message. We appreciate all feedback given. We are working towards new branding and packaging design since taking over the business in December 2023. We know aesthetics and label design are as a much a part of the consumer experience as the spirit in the bottle. The barrel batches are a very small quantity and different volumes are produced each time. At present we are hand writing the abv and the bottle number and of course we may look at using a sticker again, but the new labels and bottles when ready will portray more information for the consumer. We do hope you enjoy the rum regardless of its presentation and we would appreciate your feedback once sampled. Kind Regards, Jamie MacDonald, Owner & Distiller, NB Distillery

Thank you so much for your 5 star review about our lovely NB Samphire Gin. Delighted to hear it stands up against Curio Wild Coastal Gin (looks great too!). We recently won a Bronze for this gin in the International World Spirit Competition - one point away from silver but we're thrilled with this! We hope you continue to enjoy, and many thanks again for your purchase. Best wishes, Jenny, NB Distillery

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review and great to hear you discovered our NB Gin on your holidays. It is the best Gin (awarded the Best London Dry Gin in the World in 2015 too!). We hope to see you again sometime soon in sunny North Berwick. Best wishes, Jenny, NB Distillery
A rare opportunity these days
We used to regularly by NB Gin and also "School Night" the low alcohol version. But the new postage costs, and the fact that School Night is no longer available meant we hadn't ordered anything for some time. The recent offer made our favourite Gin more affordable and reminded us how much we liked it.
