He took his time to take us through the various options that matches our taste and choice. The finance guidance was also hussle free

Extremely Disappointing – From a 5‑Star Sales Experience to a 1‑Star Delivery Nightmare

I originally gave NCF Living a 5‑star review based purely on the point‑of‑sale experience. The staff in the store were helpful, attentive, and eager to assist — and at that time, I genuinely believed I was in good hands.

Unfortunately, everything that happened after placing the order has been the complete opposite. It has now been almost five months, and I still have not received my order. Even worse, NCF cannot explain what happened to my order between 9th February and 19th March — something that should be easily traceable in their own system.

Whenever I go to the store, I’m told to “speak to head office.” When I contact customer service, they tell me to “speak to the store.” This constant back‑and‑forth is exhausting and shows a complete lack of internal communication and accountability. The store was the original point of sale, yet no one there seems able or willing to help.

To add to the confusion, when I called on the 6th or 7th of May, I was told my order was in the warehouse and someone would contact me to arrange delivery. That never happened. Every update contradicts the last, and no one seems to know where my order actually is.

The contrast between the smooth, friendly sales process and the chaotic, unprofessional delivery process is shocking. It feels like once they secure the sale, the customer is left to deal with the consequences alone.

I have now cancelled my order and will be escalating this to the Ombudsman and relevant consumer protection bodies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, due to unreasonable delays and failure to provide services with reasonable care and skill.

I’m writing this review to make others aware: the service you receive when they want to sell you something is not the service you receive afterwards. Proceed with caution.

Great help and service

Great help and service originally in store.

I had originally mentioned I need 6 chairs but the item I had purchased chairs only came in sets of 4 and I woikd need to purchase 8 which would not fit in my house. So I settled for 4. I was told in store the chairs and table can be bought together or separately.

I had returned to store within 24 hours as I had sourced 6 chairs that were appropriate and wanted to cancel just the chairs. Store did advise there may be an admin fee but could be waivered as I returned so soon and had not scheduled delivery yet. Ultimately the choice was up to head office at businsss discretion but my reasons had been noted.

Once head office contacted me I was also suddenly told “ There is also the requirement to spend the same price or higher as the original value of the order. As the table on its own is £399.00 and the package was £699.00 you would need to find something else to spend the £300.00 on.”

This effectively leaves me stuck to purchase something with ncf where nothing else was appropriate for me or I would have to pay a lot more for separate chairs I did not really like where they were sold separately.

I was not told this in store nor is it noted on the invoice so I feel misleaded into a sale. I was also told the chairs and table can be purchased separately but I chose to purchase together at the time as I had to settle for 4 chairs. Now head office is telling me this is a package deals which is not that I also raised in store.

Ncf need to be more transparent with sales and emphasise consequences when making a sale as I am now stuck with something even if I were to pay an admin fee. I should be able to cancel a product with or without admin fee but not be stuck to purchase another item from ncf. There is no point in a cancellation otherwise.

Extremely disappointed and will not be buying from ncf again.

GO SEE SHAUN AT NCF STOKE

We have popped in to NCF just to look at cream sofas for my mum and Shaun at Stoke was absolutely brilliant, he was understanding, friendly and very patient. My mum bought a sofa, chair and footstool with absolutely no pressure at all. Highly recommend to go see Shaun........THANK YOU!!!!!

Ordered settee and chair delivered on…

Ordered settee and chair delivered on the 24th March 2026 ans when checked over half of the lights were not working. Contacted customer service and sent photos as requested straight away and still not got any answers as to when this is going to be sorted. I would not buy from them again poor after sales even when you buy the extended warranty. All there care about is a sale and not what happens after. Customer service never get back to you. Been in the store to be told they will update us and still no call,just passed from one person to another.
