I am writing this to share a deeply disappointing experience with this organization, in the hope that it informs and protects other educators from similar treatment.

Despite being promised a professional and supportive work environment, what I encountered was the complete opposite — unpaid labor, lack of transparency, and constant disregard for basic human boundaries.

🚫 Unpaid Salary & Exploitation
I was not paid for the sessions I completed, despite fulfilling my responsibilities under difficult personal circumstances. Not only were payments delayed or denied, but there were also unjust deductions and penalties — a clear violation of labor rights. Expecting professionals to invest time, energy, and their own money without compensation is unethical and exploitative. If this is the norm, then this company is running a dangerously fraudulent operation disguised as an "educational platform."

🚫 Lack of Empathy & Unprofessional Expectations
I clearly communicated that I was unavailable due to academic examinations and a medical emergency at home. Instead of understanding, I was pressured to conduct offline lectures during my exams, and even expected to travel directly from exam halls to student homes. When I proposed online sessions as a temporary solution, it was bluntly rejected. There was no flexibility, no concern for my well-being — just unrealistic demands and disrespectful responses.

⚠️ Poor Internal Communication & Misinformation
I was assigned to a student with special educational needs without being informed of their learning disability in advance — information that should have been disclosed at the time of onboarding. This reflects serious mismanagement and a disregard for both the educator’s preparedness and the student’s learning needs.

✅ One Exception
Out of all the engagements, only one was managed with mutual respect and communication. This proves that professional relationships can work — if the organization chooses to treat tutors with the same respect it expects.

📌 Final Thoughts
To any educator considering working here: think twice. The culture here prioritizes client demands over tutor dignity, offers no support in emergencies, and delays or denies rightful payment. You will be expected to sacrifice your time, health, and resources — and in return, you may receive zero accountability and no compensation.

This is not just unprofessional. It's exploitative.

Until and unless this organization takes responsibility, rectifies its payment structure, and starts respecting the people who power its services, it should not be trusted with either your time or your talent.

This is a scam site , the reviews must be from paid ppl, they ask for money up front than to send your work in than after the sketchy stuff continue how they can't do it cause it's a different time zone, etc, nothing gets done they collect there money and than tell you they need more time, I paid 120 for them to say you can contact another Tudor and pay more. They had no Tudor available for hours than charged me than after the Tudor told me he could do it in 2 extra hours 20 minutes later he said I need 6 hours , nothing was done,

I had an excellent experience! My tutor Anthony did a wonderful job in helping me to understand which measures my data should be coded as, and how to run the appropriate analysis for it in SPSS. They also did a WONDERFUL job in explaining the importance and why the data should be run in each specific way.

I would recommend going to these tutors to everyone. Seriously, this service is simply great! They respond fast, they are polite and you can feel that personal touch every time you write to them. The tutors that I got for my sessions were very nice and helping. Each made sure I got the result I hoped for. Thank you!

Great tutoring service. I'd recommend it to anyone struggling with some of the harder concepts in physics, maths or any sciences for that matter.

Switching to nerdy tutors was one of my wisest decisions this semester. Hate wasting time on struggling with textbooks so i schedule sessions once per week on average on different subjects. Works perfectly for me! The tutors are very professional!

Unlike other tutoring services I saved time on picking the best fit tutor to help. The platform assigned him automatically based on what I needed. Happy with the result, gonna use more.

All in all the sessions are ok and I am pretty happy with service. Still no idea why they don't have welcome discounts or whatever as other companies do.

My friend has recently started working with Nerdy Tutors and as she was very satisfied, i decided to give it a try. What especially like about this service is how quickly I shifted from A to Z where Z is me totally self confident on how to move on with my lab. Would recommend!

Not even once tutors failed to get me to the point of understanding, no matter how hard the problem initially seemed. Positive attitude, professional approach, easy to communicate. I wish they had a referal program, cuz I would definitely refer my friends for bonuses.

They helped me to understand what was needed for my sociology project. I really liked how easy-going my tutor was, we were discussing the chapters I failed to get properly and now even after 1 session, I think I've managed to understand more stuff. That's really cool, thanks!
