Pleio devices work well. But poor communication

The new Pleio devices work well. My complaint is with the follow up to questions raised. I have not had any response to 3 separate questions asked at different times. My last question was about subscriptions when we own the boxes after the initial 12 months. Each box is registered separately does that mean we have to pay a subscription for each box instead of the normal subscription model. They do not seem interested in replying!

To answer your question - yes, each box will require it's own subscription fee, if you wish to access Cloud Gaming and Channels+ on each. Each box includes twelve months of free access to this content!

just can't contact them they won't…

just can't contact them they won't reply to any of my many emails, having subscribed to their new service I've had no equipment or replies the phone number won't ring and they don't reply on chat, just seems a con to me.

was eventually sorted after a month of trying!

Now after almost a week still not able to contact them by email or phone (phone just disconnects as soon as dialled) is this company doing business or not????

and still no response even 2 weeks later what a very poor company I would certainly not recommend using them

All resolved now but took nearly a month!

Beware!!

Ordered Netgem TV (directly through Netgem website) in early 2024 and cancelled the TV box within a couple of days so never received it or any of their TV services as I was within the cooling off period. They have continued to send multiple emails with invoices demanding £10 per month since then and currently my balance is £209 for no services or equipment received. I have sent tens of multiple emails to them over the years requesting cancellation but they have failed to dignify me with a single response. As someone with chronic severe mental illness this company causes me nothing but immense levels of distress as they are unwilling to communicate at any level on the matter.

Feel like banging my head now till it’s…

Feel like banging my head now till it’s numb because talk talk have yet again ignored my cancellation requests in writing and even though I have it in writing they will agree to cancel it within 30 days, I e received a bill for the month afterwards.

I’m not using talk talk since sep 5th 2025 but they have bills for sep and October and they agreed and the. Went back o. What was written to me. Over the phone they say they will think about it .
I cannot take this stress anymore

Never use Netgem

I emailed Netgem to cancel my subscription in October 2024 as per their instructions on their website, but they are still taking £15 a month from my Visa Debit card. I have emailed them, used their 'Chatbot', tried telephoning them (number not recognised!!) and have had no response back other than their standard System Generated Responses. I have now overpaid £150 for a service I have cancelled and am not using.
I am disgusted by this service, and would NOT recommend them at all. Non-existent customer service.

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. I enter a selection of favourite channels, they may be there for say 24 hours and then disappear. Any planned recordings are also prone to disappear. The box is part of a package supplied by BRSK who seem incapable of sorting out the problem. The problem has been ongoing for months now. If I could give minus 5 stars I would.
19/02/25 I've given up and bought a Manhattan box. It's a revelation.

As your box is provided by BRSK, they are best placed to support you directly, but I’d be happy to flag this with them if you’re still having trouble getting a resolution. In the meantime, a couple of things that might help:

Restart your box – A simple power cycle can sometimes resolve temporary issues.

Check for software updates – Ensure your box is running the latest version.

Try a factory reset – If the issue persists, this can help restore proper functionality (though please note it will reset preferences).

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish, I've just spent hours trying to get beyond the adverts after section 1 of a film on my5.
7 adverts after 7 adverts each time I try to play it.
Netgem TV seems to stumble along with a box that barley copes with the instructions from the remote. I have only had it for 2 months but all I seem to be doing is paying £10 a month for Freeview. Sky is dearer but at least it worked. Just wish I coukd get out if the contract. I certainly will never renew it,

Just one problem after another...

Just one problem after another. Worked with Alexa, then it didn't (all I did was add an Alexa dot in another room). So I read do a factory reset (I'd set up Alexa numerous times but Alexa can never find the Netgem box). Btw: Netgem last updated their Alexa connection 4 years ago!!!!! But I forgot when I did the reset that Netgem hangs up when trying to find my Eero router. So now I can't connect to the Internet. This is the third time. In the past, Netgem displays the list of available networks after hours and numerous rebooting of all the hardware. I'm so tired of Netgem. I've lost hours fighting it.

To get Alexa and your Netgem box working together smoothly, please ensure they’re both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Once that’s done, head over to Settings → Alexa Voice Control on your Netgem box. You’ll see a “Let’s Start” button which will then guide you to an instruction page. If needed, you can try disabling and re-enabling the paired device, then follow the steps on the screen. If you still have any trouble, feel free to call us at 020 7242 0163 – we’re here to help!

Factory Reset and Network Connection: We understand that the factory reset caused additional problems with reconnecting to your Eero router. We can see that your box successfully connected via Wi-Fi yesterday morning. We recommend rebooting your router and trying the connection process again. Alternatively, you can use an ethernet cable to connect directly to the router, which can help avoid signal interference or connection drops.

Price meets quality

Great product

I have loved using my soundbox provided by Netgem. It has allowed me to access French channels in the UK and loads of free apps. Highly recommend!

Netgem is the most dreadful company I…

Netgem is the most dreadful company I have ever dealt with. The TV Box is unresponsive to the supplied remote control. It needs to be switched off from the power and switch back on in order the remote to work. After switching the tv box after a while you find it on standby mode, does not respond to the remote whereby you need to unplug it and plug back on for the remote to work.
The support team is unresponsive whatsoever. Their phone number on the Web is a wrong number. I will soon be cancelling my subscription.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. There could be a few reasons linked to the issue you're experiencing. It could be due to your remote not being angled to the front of the set top box, there may be something obstructing the front of the box, you may need to change the batteries of the remote, or there may be software updates taking place (this is indicated by a flashing blue light on the set top box).

If this doesn't resolve your issue, please contact our 24/7 online support team, and we will assist you in diagnosing the root cause or alternatively, we can send out a replacement remote control.

Still cannot cancel account

Writing a review here seems to be the only way of contacting Netgem's customer services. I previously wrote a 1 star review about inability to cancel my account and constant emails looking for payment. After this I was contacted by their customer services with instructions (at cost to myself of texts to s premium number). This route to cancel did not work and still get constant emails with demands for money and it is back to silence from customer services. For any doubt to them, I am not a Three customer, the demands for money are from Netgem and I would like Netgem to cancel my account. Customer service is the worst I have experienced from any company with refusal to take responsibility. Fault is either with customer or third party. Please take responsibility and act upon what should be a simple request.
