Straightforward, honest approach to the process. Briefed us on all options, and once we selected one they efficiently took action.

When I contacted The Newton Group they went into great detail explaining the process for exiting my timeshare and answered my questions with thoroughness and patience helping me to understand the process and the cost.
They were always prompt at getting back to me if I had a question and when they had paperwork for me to process they were very good at explaining every document and how to process them.
I am very pleased with the work they did for me. It has been a great help to be free of the timeshare.

They were great. Kept us informed, frequent check-ins, great legal advice when we needed it, and kept their promise of helping us divest from the timeshare. Even though it took time, we never had to pay maintenance fees and eventually, we were free.

Hiring the Newton Group to get out of my Timeshare was a great decision. I bought my timeshare when my kids were young, and it was good at first. Soon after the maintenance fees started to skyrocket. As my kids grew up and started their own lives We barely used it. I called the company to try to sell it back and they said NO and basically I'm locked in for life. I called Newton and was skeptical at first, but It took about 9 months for them to negotiate a great deal for me. The cost was the same as my annaul maintenance fee. The Newton group was professional and handled everything for me. They were great and worth every penny!

False Promises. We contracted with Newton Group to exit our timeshare paying a large amount of $ and we chose to go with a 3rd party because we were told it would be a quicker process. Timely Acquisitions is said 3rd party. This has been nothing but a headache. Going from listening to these people tell us about how they were going to help us to having absolutely nothing done and no contact unless I contact them.

In 2024 our initial timeshare property was being sold/liquidated for lack of use. We did our due diligence and took the option to transfer our ownership to another resort, one that is very popular and we thought would be easier to sell. Crickets. And found out that the first 2 1/2 yrs of working with Timely Acquisitions is for naught because the contract restarted in December of 2024 when we transferred to a different resort because we HAD to.

Now we found out the second resort we were talked into purchasing for the points to bring us up to the correct level to exchange is being liquidated/sold as well. Instead of being able to combine with the existing timeshare, it's separate and is Trust Points, not tied to a resort.

I've reached out to Timely Acquisitions and am awaiting a response. Keeping my fingers crossed they don't tell us AGAIN that our contract will now start over again.

We are retired and on a fixed income. We thought we were doing the right thing by using Newton Group and Timely Acquisitions to exit our timeshare. We've not used it in years and don't want the expense of the maintenance fees to go to our children should something happen to us.

We feel so betrayed and disappointed that companies do this to people, especially retirees living on a fixed income.

After reading other posts, it would have been cheaper for us to just stop paying the maintenance fees and see what happens. We are now $13K in the hole and nothing has been done. Stay away from Newton Group.

We were very skeptical of using ant company to get out from under the burden of our timeshare as we had been burned before. We had the timeshare for five years and were never able to use it. We hated the idea of throwing more money out, but decided to trust the Newton Group, based on the many good reviews. To our delight and relief, they performed exactly as they said they would. Most importantly, they kept in touch, which greatly reduced our anxiety. The fee was definitely worth it to no longer be bogged down in timeshare expenses and the worry that our kids might be stuck with them in the future.

I contracted with the Newton Group for $5000 to
get out of my timeshare They collect up front with all kind of promises but their options were to write 2 letters to the resort, with no response. The second option to have a broker sell the timeshare for 10% of the purchase price ($4500) or referal to a law firm that
wrote more letters and finally told me not to pay the maintenance fee!!! Worthless service and refused even a partial refund,

I contacted the Newton Group about a year or so ago to get out of the time share I have had for years paying exuberant amounts of cash on maintenance fees and with our busy schedule if we used the benefits of the time share in the years that we used it I can count them in one hand, so we thought give them a shot.
From the outset they were helpful and very informative as to what steps the process would take and how long it would take. The issues they presented to us were that it all depends on the property we owned. Explained the steps of the process we understood the risk but we decide to do it and after a period of time we received the documents that we were released from the ownership of such time share. I am glad we decide to hire the newton group to dissolve the relationship with our time share all the representatives were very helpful in keeping us informed of the progress. We would highly recommend them to try to rid off the TS however it all depends on the type of time share you are trying to rid off as every time share is not the same

This company does not deserve any stars. I signed up with the Newton Group to Cancel my timeshare. I am pissed. After the refund period wad over They only offered two options. The first one is to stop paying the maintenance fee for several years with hopes the timeshare company will eventually let you out of the contract. The other option is to list your timeshare for sale with a third party for an additional fee. Don't waste your money with this company.

After paying $5k up front the first “solution” was lying another $4-5k, which I didn’t have. I was referred to a law firm and after a period of no contact this is the response I get:

I want to make sure it is clear that you did not pay our firm. You contracted and paid Newton Group, who retained our firm on your behalf after you declined the broker option they provided. Here we attempt to get the resort amicable to some type of release offer. However, there is no guarantee on how long it will take to receive responses from them or if an offer will ever be provided. If the resort is never willing to provide a release offer, we do have another option of waiting them out through a nonpayment process; which can take some time.

Paid their fee up front of course then I get an offer to pay an addition thousands of dollars or get referred to a law firm. I already paid $5k and didn’t have another $4k so opted to have the firm manage it. After a period of no response I get this response from my inquiry:

Newton group got me out of my timeshare as promised and although it took a few months, I was very happy with the company. Holly kept me up to date with things and I really enjoyed working with her

We contracted The Newton Group earlier this year. It took longer than expected for them to sell our timeshare but they finished the sale before outer annual maintenance assessment was due. The Newton Group process was excellent: they kept us aware of all steps and their representatives were extremely professional. We strongly endorse the Newton Group for anyone wanting to divest their timeshare. Well done!!

We used the Newton Group to exit our time share since we could no longer travel. We were very pleased with there service. They were informative and professional during the process

We used this company to exit our timeshare “ownership” when it was no longer possible to book vacations. They accurately described the process and were very reliable. Use them!

Newton Group came through big time for us. We had a timeshare and I thought there was no way out. The fees had gone from $300 to nearly $1000 a year and we were desperately looking for help but were also very leery of being scammed. The reviews I read seemed legitimate and we decided the upfront cost was worth it if everything worked out in the end. AND IT DID! It took a little while but we’d been in the same situation for just shy of 30 years and I couldn’t get anywhere with my timeshare company, but Newton Group changed all that. We’re so happy.

This company does not listen to PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME! I have requested they do not call. I am getting up to 3 calls daily since Oct 5th...over 16 calls from several different states and phone numbers.

I want to applaud The Newton Group for doing exactly what they promised to do and that is get us out of our timeshare. They said it would take about 2 1/2 years and that is exactly what it took. After calculating the costs to stay in, the price to get out was well worth it. I recommend them to anyone looking to get out from under the timeshare they own. Money well spent.

I also signed up with the Newton Group whom hired DC Capital Law to Handle my time share exit. This was done in 2018 November paying them $4000.00 with a contract stating they would get me out of my timeshare with a 100% guarantee of any future financial responsibility. Through out he past few years Al I’ve gotten was a phone call that they are still working on it but the timeshare is not buying them back at this time also I was aske couple times if I was willing to pay a few hundred more if need to exit which I refused because of the contract stating there is a 100% no future responsibility.this has gone on since 2018 November till January of 2024.. In February 2024 I received a phone call from DC Capital Law that there contract with Newton group had run out and they no longer will be representing me in this matter and they will send paperwork to sign. After a few months I’ve gotten no paperwork and I call twice talk to secretary having her to send me my file for future reference as of this day a September 20th 2024 I have received nothing. I call Newtons group to inform them of my situation there response was I have nothing to worry about that sometimes this is the way it works and time share will see I have no representation and will contact me to exit timeshare. This I believe is bull and all they did was take my money. These two firms are not to be trusted. read less

Four years later, I still have the Timeshare, except I now have $4K+ in overdue bills and finance charges.

I paid The Newton Group a large sum and the only result is over due fees with finance charges from the Timeshare company. The law firm they assigned me to (DC Capital Law) sent me a letter saying they no longer represent me, but contact them for pricing should the Timeshare company get back to us. I am on my own with monthly bills from the Timeshare company for several years of recommended non-payment.
