Don't say I never warn you. In this school, you will be frustrated by lecturers flagging your content as AI-generated. Even if you do your own work, they will say it is AI-generated. You will be required to redo your papers severally. The aim is to fail you so that you can pay an extra amount to redo courses. Horrible experience!

I gave it one star but deserves zero. The enrollment process has been awful and have had to just walk away. Don't bother entertaining this place as it is a scam.

Nexford provides very relevant, quality, and relatively affordable education...all while providing the flexibility of schooling at your own time and pace. The online learning environment was also easy to navigate, and the faculty members were very warm and always helpful.

I had issue with proctor exams for 2 weeks without doing anything on the learning platform before getting approval to write offline.
My question is ,I hope my next proctor exams won't face the same challenges.
Also,I noticed I have been graded all ny first courses but can't access the next course.

I interviewed for the Video Editor role at Nexford University. The first round was a video interview with their new Head of Growth, Ragen Dodson. After a strong conversation, I was invited to submit a creative assignment, not a skills test, but a fully developed, multi-platform video campaign titled:

“What REALLY Gets You Hired in 2025”

I was asked to:
• Develop a hero video script
• Pitch TikTok/Reels concepts
• Create a moodboard or script
• Plan the team workflow
• Provide a distribution strategy across YouTube, CTV, social media, email, and their website

I submitted a complete, professional-grade campaign. I tracked the email, and it was opened 9 times over several days. Then… silence. Until July 18, when I received a generic rejection email with no reference to my work, no feedback, and no indication that the project was even reviewed in good faith.

Here’s the kicker: Nexford simultaneously launched a webinar campaign with the same title as the assignment (“What Really Gets You Hired”), promoted across their social channels, featuring similar messaging. They even reposted the exact same job days later, proving they’re still collecting applicants, and possibly, more ideas.

Other Glassdoor reviews reveal a consistent pattern. Vague interview setups, information-heavy interviews focused on your current employer, “Homework” assignments that feel more like free strategy decks, ghosting after submissions, no hires, no feedback, no transparency.

This is exploitation and not evaluation.

Advice to job seekers:
• Don’t send Nexford anything strategic unless you’re under contract.
• Don’t expect feedback or clarity.
• If you get an assignment, watermark it and protect it or rather walk away.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Nexford University. When I enrolled, the university was advertised as flexible and fast-paced, allowing new students to take two courses at a time and progress quickly. This was a key reason I joined, as I planned my studies and personal commitments around this schedule and even paid extra for transfer credits. Shortly after enrolling, the university changed its policy, new students are forced to take only one course at a time for the first eight courses. This change completely disrupted my plans and created financial and scheduling issues.
What’s worse, there is no clear withdrawal or refund process for new students affected by these changes. I contacted customer service at least eight times and requested phone calls three times, but all I received were generic template responses repeating the new policy. No one addressed my actual concerns or offered real solutions, and every attempt to escalate my case went nowhere. The only time I received calls was when I was being sold the program, not when I needed real support. I also scheduled meetings to discuss my academic path, but no one showed up-only to receive an apology message hours later.
The coursework itself was underwhelming for me. I finished assignments in about a week and consistently scored over 95%. In many cases, I could have learned the same material from YouTube videos, and the reading materials felt outdated and basic-something AI could easily improve. I do want to mention that the instructors were attentive and helpful, but unfortunately, the overall academic challenge was not there.
The new policy might help some students, but for those with prior experience or who want to move faster, it makes the program unnecessarily slow and frustrating. The lack of transparency, poor customer service, and inability to get a refund or even a proper response made this experience even worse. If Nexford is going to change its advertised policies, especially for new students, they should at least offer a way out or a refund option. As it stands, I cannot recommend Nexford to anyone looking for a truly flexible or responsive online university.
