Genuine. But looked dodgy at first. Once i logged in (first tried with wrong DOB and it did not let me in, bit when i entered correct DOB it did let me in). Inside it is legit, it had my address and indeed my doctor appointments. Glad i opened them and won't miss the appointment, but almost dismissed it as scam.

I received a SMS text asking me to follow a link to nhsportal.net (not traceably owned by the NHS), to specify my date of birth to access a letter about my appointment.
To my surprise there really was a letter for me, even though the hospital trust already owns porthosp.nhs.uk but doesn't use it to host such personal confidential information.

As previously mentioned it is legit but looks very dodgy. My dad recieved a text and we were both very dubious. It is only because we did some research that we decided to follow the link and enter the personal information requested.

got an sms on my phone with a link to nhsportal dotnet domain .... figured must be a scam. no ssl (https), also not .nhs.scot or .scot.nhs.uk like all other nhs addresses.

also sms, no email, must be a scam, i work for the nhs in scotland, this is hitting every single red flag with zero usage of any security, ssl, domain, email, this must either be a scam or a private company trying to gather data for scams

I have just completed a short questionnaire/details check to confirm an upcoming appointment is still needed (all patients waiting over 12 weeks being asked). I was concerned the texts might be a scam and checked here and elsewhere for clues. I then typed the link into a fairly secure laptop with up to date anti-virus with no warnings, and completed a simple form. It seems to all be genuine.

What Greg said, while this is actually legit (for me it was the NHS Lothian digital letter service), the texts and the site all look easily like a scam.
Please change to a gov.uk address instead of a .net address, so less knowledgeable people know to trust it, and to not be fooled by other .net addresses.

This SMS has all the hallmarks of a scam. Is it legit? I still don't know, some say yes, my background suggests that it looks so much like a scam that it would put the scammers out of business.
As it happens, I don't even have an appointment that's delayed. Log in and find out? No thanks... 👎

This is a genuine site, after all, and was used to advise me of an upcoming NHS appointment.

** Note to NHS: this site loks dodgy for at least two reasons:
1. Use of insecure http rather than secure https
2. Use of .net domain rather than .nhs.uk or a .gov address.

Enter info from text to access appointment, given a number of NHS options, none of which goes to the correct site. Tried several times for different appointments with a success rate of at best 20%.
Not even consistent.
