Pushy and RUDE

Extremely rude text responses when I said we would not be securing anything with them at this time. My first and only message was short and concise but polite. Chad, the moving coordinator, didn’t even wait five minutes before sending me a string of texts that were rude. Showed their true colors and I’m glad he did. Will not be considering them in the future.

Dishonest or An Out-Right Scam

This company has very dishonest business practices. At first when the problems began, I thought it was incompetence but now I realize they intentionally deceive people. My husband and I moved from Mobile, AL to Pensacola, FL and sought to hour moving help due our back condition.

We searched on the internet for a moving company that would do out-of-staves because many of the local companies we contacted didn’t do this type of move. So we ran across a website, a company that connects people with available movers. Shortly after the search. I received a call from Nimbus Relocation services. The original salesman (Leroy Adam) was very pleasant and knowledgeable that I proceeded to tell what our moving needs were. We talked for a while and he then took down the items we needed moving. He spoke to my husband also, who was careful to tell him the items we needed moving. Leroy sent a few updated emails as we spoke any needed changes on out moving list. We also were contacted by Adriel Serrano, who was supposed to finalize the final items before paying the move deposit.

We thought everything was squared away only to find out something very different the day before our move. On the day before our move, we were contacted by Kayden Nowell and she attempted to go over everything to ensure we had a smooth move experience. This is where the problems began because when we went the lost with her, she redid the list and added 29 pieces to the original list. I thought that was a bit excessive because we really should’ve had only a few items to add. This change resulted in a $4000 differential, which we refused to pay. We had already agreed to pay $2,100 for moving the items on the supposed original list. You see the original list they had on file didn’t include all the items we discussed with Leroy Adam. We thought maybe it was an oversight but later found out that they intentionally wanted to add items to the list once they arrived to incur additional charges.

Fortunately my husband and I rented a U-Haul to offset the discrepancy. Little did we know that the movers arrived all the way from the Miami area with a truck about 2 feet longer than the 26 ft U-haul we rented. We also weren’t told initially that we had to share the truck with other families. Apparently, the $2100 we spent only paid for the movers to transport our things using about 1/3 of the truck’s available space. This too was not explained to us until the day before our move.

Besides all this the movers were late, they arrived at almost noon on Saturday 3/30 when they were supposed to arrive on Friday 3/30. They only worked 1 hour on the pickup side and 1 hour on the delivery side with a lunch break in between. These were just a few of the issues. BEWARE!!!

We'd like to apologize for any headaches or inconveniences you may have experienced during your relocation process. We understand that moving can be very stressful and we always strive to make it as easy and understandable as possible for our customers. We would like to clear up a few discrepancies with your complaint. We would never intentionally under estimate your inventory. However it is very common when booking your move to not have an exact count on all the items you will be transporting due to packing, getting rid of items, etc. Which is why every move booked will receive a call from our Quality Assurance Department the week of your scheduled pick up to conduct a final count on all items being transported. During your Quality Assurance call, a significant amount of items were added that weren't originally disclosed, which is why the estimate did increase. You did elect to keep your reservation at it's original volume, which we honored, as well as signed a Quality Assurance Acknowledgment form, which stated amongst other things "if you add additional items/volume at pickup or if the items are a different volume from what is itemized on this estimate, the mover may provide you with a new estimate with a higher rate". The movers arrived to your home on 3/30, the 2nd date of your 2 day pick up window, that you agreed to and signed for at booking and confirmed during your verification call. After the movers conducted their walk through they provided you with the updated estimate, which did show an increase in price due to the significant amount of additional items not provided on your original estimate. You refused to pay for the additional space required to transport your items safely so the mover honored your original estimate and moved those items. On the first page of your estimate it's states your items will be picked up on either a 26ft Box Truck or an 18 wheeler. Due to the size of your move they arrived in a 26ft box truck, which is standard for a move of that volume. Do not go with this company they have…

Do not go with this company they have paid reviews on all platforms and they will quote you for a price and give a quote for quadruple when they show up after they have taken your deposit! After that they will leave you’re house saying they feel threatened so they can steal you’re deposit or tell you you have to pay 5000$ for pickup when it was supposed to be 900$ at pickup !! Please stay away you have been warned this company is based out of Florida I’m a customer from Massachusetts my profile picture has the actual invoice from Andrew from nimbus I’ve contacted this company already they refuse to refund my money all negative reviews on google are removed with company’s so you don’t see all the scamming they really do

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Professional con artists and liars. Kody, Sarah, and manager Adriel double talk, send incorrect paperwork several times to add confusion, and act like they sincerely care and will do the right thing. Straight shooters, decent folks etc, and they are outright criminals. They have no relationship with actual moving company, and/or storage facility. Basically they LIED about entire transaction AND assumed no respoasability for anything. Quote 1,860. actual cost 4,200.STAY AWAY.The Actual moving company was a nightmare as well. will be contacting Better Business Bureau, All social medial platforms, Instagram, COMPANY THAT holds their business licenses. legal counsel of course. This comany MUST BE STOPPED. They can not take advantage of people this way. I'm a kind senior very caring cool lady that was devastated emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially by this company. Shame on all of you. Your a disgrace to Humans and so fake.. Everyone will know. COUNT ON IT! How do you sleep- at night?

Excellent service!

The lads were punctual, hardworking, polite and price wise very competitive. We would have no hesitation in recommending these movers to anyone. Communication was so good from the start, we had no issues at all, thank you for the wonderful experience.

Brilliant and smooth move! This wasn’t my first time with Nimbus, and once again did not disappoint! Definitely recommend full package service! The team handled all of my items with care. The move was delayed 5 days which put a little bit of a bump in the road but was still a very good experience!
