A FEW WORDS AFTER 4 YEARS OF LEARNING EXPERIENCE
My child was lucky to receive a 50% tuition scholarship and has studied science at Nisai since 2023. Overall, we have been very satisfied with our learning experience. The support staff are friendly and are always willing to assist us. The teachers are dedicated, patient, encouraging, and also well-qualified, which has helped my child build up his scientific knowledge. Also, the content taught in each class is useful and engaging. The lessons are clearly presented and appropriate for the students’ learning needs. There are several free after-class club like debate, talks, etc which caught my child’s interest.
However, there is one minor drawback. Each class lasts only 30 minutes and lessons are spread across four days a week. This arrangement can make it difficult for students to fit other activities into their schedules. Unfortunately, my child now has to stop studying at Nisai because the class times overlap with their public-school timetable.
Despite this, we are truly grateful for the support and learning opportunities Nisai has provided since 2023. It has been a positive and rewarding experience for our family.
So we highly recommend Nisai for those who can arrange time and are searching for online classes.

Kindness and dedication
My name is Thành Nghĩa, and I am Linda Ngọc Hân’s father.
For more than two years, I have had the privilege of accompanying Linda on her journey with the “Kindness” project, where she volunteers to teach English to children from disadvantaged backgrounds and those living in remote and underserved areas. During this time, Linda has also been studying online with Nisai.
As a father, I am truly happy and proud to see how the spirit of the programme has grown and spread, and especially to witness the wonderful support and encouragement from the Nisai teachers.
What has touched me most are the genuine connections Linda has built with the children. From children living as far away as Côn Đảo and remote mountainous areas, Linda has received heartfelt thank-you letters and even small gifts sent from afar. These simple but meaningful gestures have been incredibly special to our family and have shown us the real impact of kindness and education.
I am also deeply grateful to the teachers who have patiently guided Linda — not only in how to teach, but also in how to prepare lesson plans, organise her classes, and communicate effectively with younger learners.
Through this experience, I have seen Linda grow in many ways. She has learned to manage her time better, become more organised and responsible, and, perhaps most importantly, develop bigger dreams and a broader vision for her future.
Today, Linda is continuing her learning journey by studying IGCSE Psychology online alongside students from different countries. I believe that these experiences — learning, teaching, sharing and connecting with others across borders — are helping her become not only a better student, but also a more confident, compassionate and globally minded young person.
As her father, I am truly grateful to Nisai and to all the teachers and friends who have accompanied Linda on this meaningful journey. I look forward to seeing where her dreams and kindness will take her next.

A flexible and supportive online school
My daughter has been studying with Nisai Global School for three years, and our overall experience has been very positive.
We chose Nisai because we live in China and needed a flexible British education that my daughter could combine with her local school. This has allowed her to continue with an international curriculum while remaining fully integrated into life and education in China.
One of the things I particularly appreciate is the individual approach. When necessary, deadlines can be adjusted, which is very helpful when a student is balancing different academic commitments. Teachers provide good and detailed feedback on homework and assignments, so students understand what they need to improve.
Communication with the school is also very efficient. If we have a question or a problem, staff respond quickly in the chats and help to resolve it.
The online platform itself is straightforward and easy for children to use independently, without requiring constant help from parents.

I was unsure about online learning at first as I had no experience with it but the teachers were always willing to help and genuinely cared about a student's progress. The online lessons were also engaging and easy to understand

A Wonderful Learning Experience at Nisai
My son attended Nisai for two years, and he had such a wonderful experience.
The class sizes were small, which meant he always felt comfortable asking questions or sharing his thoughts. As he got older, he became more comfortable using the private chat function to communicate with his teachers, but he still enjoyed interacting with both teachers and classmates during lessons. Although it is an online school, students were sometimes divided into small groups to work together on activities, and my son made several friends whom he still keeps in touch with outside school. I think that's something special. It would have been wonderful if they had had the chance to meet in person, so I was delighted to hear that the school has recently started organizing in-person meetups. I think it's a fantastic initiative.
One feature we particularly appreciated was that every lesson was recorded. Students could revisit classes whenever they wanted and as many times as they needed, which was incredibly helpful for learning. The recordings also meant that if any issues arose, the school could review exactly what had happened, making the whole system transparent and trustworthy.
After each lesson, teachers assessed how well students participated and communicated with others, and they sometimes also left personalised comments. This gave me valuable insight into how my son was doing in class. Sometimes I could use the feedback to talk with him about his behaviour, while positive comments from his teachers gave him confidence and motivation. His teachers and house tutors were always there to support him whenever he needed help, and that made him feel safe and comfortable as a learner.
One of the biggest reasons we chose Nisai was because it allowed our son to receive an English-language education while continuing to live in Japan. It fulfilled a dream that would have been very difficult for our family to achieve otherwise, and we are truly grateful for that opportunity.
While my son's learning experience was excellent, I was equally impressed by the school's staff. Since we live in Japan, we mainly communicated with the Japan and Asia offices, but whenever necessary, they worked seamlessly with the main office in the UK. Their responsiveness was exceptional, but what stood out even more was their genuine willingness to help. They always went above and beyond to find solutions, and I often told people that their customer service was "better than Disney!" It was also very reassuring to know that there were multiple support offices across different regions and several convenient ways to contact the school, including email, phone calls, and LINE.
As our son has recently started thinking about returning to a physical school, we have decided to leave Nisai. However, we will always be grateful for the incredible support we received and for the wonderful education and experiences he enjoyed there. We couldn't have asked for a better online school, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Nisai to any family considering an online education.

Fantastic online learning provider for SEN child
After having years of main stream school giving less than their duty, to provide my son with an education, my experience with Nisai has been nothing but positive. Sadly my son is now several years behind due to illness and being constantly let down and slipping through the cracks! but our hope for his future feels brighter, thanks to the help and support from Nisai. As a parent of a SEN child, it is very isolating and confusing but staff at Nisai have all been nothing but present. From education advice, EHCP advice, support and regular contact, our experience has been a relief.
My son wantes to learn but has never been given the right tutoring, the online learning Nisai provide is clear and easy to follow. Our goal is for our son to obtain his maths and English GCSE, this would not be possible without Nisai.

What I liked about Nisai
What I liked about Nisai is that in classes we sometimes have a presentation. My son has ADHD
My son has ADHD, so he has had difficulties with learning, such as being easily distracted by surrounding sounds and everything he sees, making it hard for him to concentrate. Nisai's system doesn't display faces on the screen, so it seems to be an environment where my son can concentrate better. He finds it fun to connect directly with friends both domestically and internationally through chat, and he seems to be overcoming even the difficulty of not being able to understand beginner-level English. As a parent, I am very happy to see him taking lessons without getting bored. In the past, whenever he tried something, he was often unable to learn or succeed due to his characteristics, but through learning English with Nisai, he has gained confidence that he can do it for the first time. Nisai, which provides such a learning environment, is very special to our family. Thank you to the teachers and everyone in charge of the school!

This company was suggested as a mentoring provider for my daughter
The initial phone call from the senior manager was fabulous
Sadly when visited at home by a derby located manager i was appalled. The manager kept saying we do it this way and our students do it that way , also couldn't provide any further than 4 miles from home for social skills due to the cost !! . My daughter required a mentor and provider who met her needs not the other way round. Very disappointing and would avoid

Our mentoring programmes are designed around the needs and safety of vulnerable young people. As part of this, we normally try to arrange activities within a reasonable distance from home so that young people feel comfortable and risks are minimised. That said, we always aim to be flexible where possible and tailor support to each individual situation.
We understand that finding the right mentor match and schedule is extremely important, and we regret that we were not able to reach an arrangement that worked for your daughter in this instance.
If you would be open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your feedback further and review what options may still be available. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can look into this in more detail.

Poor customer service and lesson timings
The customer service is so awful - they refuse to remove the completed assignments from the assignment list because they would rather keep them.
Also the lessons are so incredibly short - 30 minutes is not enough for the lessons especially GCSE Maths where its 30 minutes, also it’s not good idea that the maths live lessons should be in the morning especially I don’t like waking up in the morning.
I would prefer if the live lessons were an afternoon time and completed assignments from other subjects to be removed from the assignment system.
Also I wasn’t given the weekly assignment for GCSE Maths on the 27th February 2026 which makes me sad.
My maths assignments weren’t even marked yet, why is this?
UPDATE: I totally disagree with this business’ reply the completed assignments should be removed as I want them removed apart from the maths subject so please change your mind up!!!

Our platform keeps completed assignments visible so that students and teachers can track progress over time and maintain accurate learning records. While assignments can’t be removed, they should appear clearly marked as completed once submitted and reviewed.
Live lesson timings are set to allow groups of students to learn together with specialist teachers. We understand that different times of day suit different learners, and we always try to structure the timetable to work for as many students as possible.
Assignment marking can sometimes take a little longer during busy academic periods, but all submitted work will be reviewed and feedback provided by the teaching team.
If you believe an assignment was missing or you are still waiting for feedback, please contact our support team or your mentor so we can check this for you and make sure everything is up to date.

My Experience with Nisai

- Well-structured lessons are taught
- The student support team is very quick in response and has always helped me with every qualm and situation
- Some of the teachers are highly capable and experienced with the subject matter for IGCSEs - Like Ms. Zirah Daud and Mr. Kelvin Ang
Cons
- Some teachers lack experience and are unaware of how to teach the IGCSE curriculum and how to write answers in the exams.
- As I was a nontraditional student, I was given a lot of restrictions due to age, which seems reasonable to conduct an international company with minor students, but due to this, I couldn't experience most components other than studies and at times felt discriminated and lonely (which I understand came from protection and following the essential GDPR guidelines). It was just quite dismaying for my part only, but most students will not experience it, and the team and teachers were actually really supportive to me.
Overall, it was a very enriching experience and I would recommend Nisai to every student with every need.

Life changing
After years of not being able to access education our daughter has finally completed almost a full year of functional skills and is absolutely flying!
From the initial visit with her mentor and manager they showed an understanding that we had been longing for and this still continues today.
Our daughter now logs in and engages in lessons more than she ever has and is making great progress in her lessons.
She has a fantastic mentor who is amazing and supportive, not only in her education, but whole life as well and she looks forward to her visits every week.
I think that more variety of subjects is something that would be beneficial. Courses such as photography or cookery would probably be difficult online but certainly something we would be interested in.
Having access to Nisai has been life changing in our household. Not just for our daughter but also for us as parents. Thank you!

My son literally hated being in a…
My son literally hated being in a school environment, his anxiety levels were so high he would suffer physically with headaches, sickness, anxiety attacks etc and wouldn't talk to his teachers. He has now been with Nisai for one year (started in year 10) and has moved up a level, engages with his mentor and talks privately to his teachers and emails them without any issues. I cannot praise Nisai enough.

Very positive experience - the longest he has engaged with education without a break!
The short lessons are good. Flexibility and understanding when sessions are missed - plus hopefully a later schedule for next year.
The support sessions are brilliant - support is as needed and enables the work to be attempted.
Expectations for work could be more clear and precise, Feedback needs to be relevant to the expectations - were they met or not? Give an example of what might have got more marks and explain how.

NISAI from the start of my daughter’s journey with them has been fantastic. The teachers are very supportive and listen to feedback throughout.
