Baggage hub ceased trading in the middle of my order that contained in 11 boxes my whole life in UK and I was sending to Spain, my new home. The mess left by them has been cleaned by NORSK and DHL, and I cannot be more grateful for organising the shipping of my boxes which were with NORSK. The person I spoke to was called Kirsty, a department manager. She was empathic and very sweet on the phone, and she and her team took care of the situation in such a professional matter, as well as kind. I cannot be more grateful to them and to DHL for making it happen and I hope they read this review. Thank you form the bottom of my heart ❤️

Super slow with no explanation going on three months!…

i have been waiting since june 29 2022 for my shipment 3 months! It's my product that i have paid the supplier for in full and they will only tell me contact the shipper, who says, they are calling them every day. The waybill is ready for UPS, just call them for pick up! The same boxes have had three sets of UPS waybills created.

INCOMPETENCE BEYOND BELIEF

UPDATE 27th April 2023
UNBELIEVABLE - ParcelCompare have decided to take £91.15 from my credit card - nearly 7 months after my final interactions with them. I have informed my Credit Card company that this should be treated as a fraudulent transaction by ParcelCompare, and I will be pursing a refund. I did not give them any authority to store my Credit Card details in their system. I DO HOPE TRADING STANDARDS IS INVESTIGATING THIS COMPANY. They are scammers!!

I am in the process of issuing county court paper through the small claims court to parcelcompare/Norsk, who between them have "lost" a large box for shipment to St Lucia. They said they would only refund the shipping fee and not the monetary value of the contents (???). I see that other reviews have mentioned their incompetence/?? scammers. I will not provide any more feedback now until I get the outcome of my official complaint!

UPDATE- 9th October 2022
I issued court papers. They paid my shipping fee refund. They told me my “lost” box had been returned to their “Sortation Centre” after nearly 4 months and I was to pay an Invoice of nearly £100 to get my box back or they would destroy the box as they were not a “storage facility”! This really was beyond belief! I told them I would not pay the Invoice as they had not fulfilled their contract of delivering my box to St Lucia and they should therefore return my box to my address! They eventually returned my box via UPS! NEVER PAY TO GET YOUR BOX BACK - IT IS A SCAM! To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to offer me £15 voucher off my next order with them…… really??? GET REAL!
AVOID Parcelcompare AT ALL COSTS…..

Used to be a competitive courier…

Used to be a competitive courier solutions but they have so many additional fees and surcharges they actually end up much more costly than Royal mail. My latest shipment had additional fees that took them two weeks to let me know what they were and I still don't understand. I wouldn't recommend anymore.

Possibly the worst parcel experience ever.

I have to say I was pretty happy with getting a company to send a parcel to Saudi Arabia. It seemed really good. The only problem I had was the client said the address was the address and no matter what the courier company said, it was correct. So I used that address. When the parcel didn't arrive, I found that norsk had already started sending it back without even ringing or checking what could the error be. When I challenged thi
s they said they don't offer proactive management of issues. Why on earth would someone take email address information and phone number information if not going to use it. Then instead of coming up with a solution just say, it's on its way back and then charge more than it cost to send it as a fee. Utterly outrageous. Just the lack of customer service is truly apparent with this company, mistakes get made in all areas, but it's how you deal with those mistakes or how you help others deal with the mistakes that make you truly stand out as a company that prides it's self on customer service. This is something that Norsk is lacking in totality. Will not be using again.

Norsk Global - Incompetence and dishonesty personified

I posted a present to Ireland through Hermes International Delivery. Its value was £32 and the threshold to attract Irish VAT/duty on gifts is 45 euros. 10 days later I tried to track its whereabouts. Hermes International proved to be uncontactable. All I could establish was that the parcel was being returned to the UK to me. Eventually I established that Norsk Global in the UK had sent an email to the addressees requesting payment of what they obliquely referred to "duties and taxes" to allow the parcel to be delivered. The email offered no explanation as to who the sender of the parcel was, made no mention of Hermes and provided no Irish contact number. It worked on the bizarrre asumption that the addressees should understand what it was about. A child would do a better job. The email looked in every respect like a scam phishing email and, predictably, it therefore got trapped in a spam folder but was found in the addressees' spam when I began this trail. It purported to be copied to me, the sender of the parcel, but a very thorough search reveals that Norsk never copied any such email to me as claimed. This was my first taste of Norsk's dishonesty. No attempt was ever made by Norsk to phone the addressees on the telephone number supplied by me when I booked the delivery and, likewise, nobody ever contacted me, the sender, about this matter. On learning of this (in an effort to stop the parcel being needlessly returned to me in the UK) I immediately emailed Norsk and followed that up with phone call the following morning. I was promised a speedy response but never received a call back. My emails were ignored. When I called again after 5pm I was promised a call back from Mary a manager who was apparently investigating the matter but who, I was advised, was "on lunch" at that time. I was told that, as the following day was the last working day for Norsk before Christmas, they were very busy dealing with calls (given the incompetence I experienced this doesn't seem surprising). That call back never materialised. When I called back before 6pm I was informed that "Mary", the manager, had in fact left the building and would not be returning. Perhaps "Mary" the manager's christmas lunch continued on rather late and customer service took second place? Nobody had thought it appropriate to inform me that I would not be receiving the promised call back - courtesy clearly isn't a priority at Norsk. These people are shockingly incompetent and dishonest and have a whiff of crook about them - they lie with shocking ease. Keep well away from them. I hope all their own Christmas gifts go undelivered as a result of the same sort of incompetence and disinterest - then they'll know how it feels.

I phoned in this morning to ask for advice on the missing parcels forwarded to Norsk Global. I spoke to Mary, the manageress.
I was very disappointed when, rather than her trying to find out what happened to my packages, she felt more the need to educate me on her role and refused to give me any information as I wasn't their direct customer.
Mind-boggling that people like Mary are in managerial positions in customer service to start with.
Certainly won't be using this company, considering that 2 out of 3 parcels haven't yet arrived at their destination and were refused by the customs (never happened with outer couriers, by the way). But even tho, those things can happen, lovely customer service can make those bad situations look less frustrating, which unfortunately didn't happen today.
No thanks!

Great pick up service and competitive…

Great pick up service and competitive rates, but God forbid a parcel gets lost or you need help with an item delivered to the wrong place!.... They don't help they just try pass you onto the courier company they use and to get your customer's to contact them theirselves, which really isn't helpful when no one wants to help!

Slow & unhelpful

Asked for an itemised invoice (box of kids toys & birthday cards) - provided this, (I sent incorrect document) - instead of reaching out to me to correct me, they took 5 days to respond telling me 'if you don't send us the invoice the item will be retuned at your cost.

Bear in mind, this service was a 3-4 day service and it's still in the UK 8 days later...... And it cost £80.

Spoke to a member of their customer service to be told, 'haven't received anything, you obviously sent the invoice to the wrong email address' - woman was unhelpful, snarky and just unpleasant. All in all, wouldn't ever use Norsk again.

The customer service team at Norsk…

The customer service team at Norsk Global have been so helpful when, due to the incompetence of DPD local online, were constantly chasing DPD on my behalf when I was getting no response. They listened patiently to my rants and tearful telephone calls. You guys were amazing thank you.

First and the worst experience

Unfortunately, the parcel has a different COUNTRY destination than my address (how is that even possible??) Furthermore, it has been a month and the parcel is still in the UK lost somewhere. I know that I will never see my parcel and I try to get a refund from the sender.

Incorrect delivery address

Four days ago a large package was left on my doorstep. The address on the package was completely different to my home address. I contacted Norsk Global immediately and they said they would arrange for someone to pick the package up and then deliver it to the correct address. This matter has still not been resolved, despite me making two further calls. I would have thought that they would have been keen that that the intended recipient of the goods received them without further delay.
