A delivery of oil was due on the 9th February. This was not delivered and subsequently discovered that this was delivered to the wrong address further down our village.
This was raised and the details of the incorrect address was passed on.
No delivery was received and we ran out of oil on the 7th March. Raising this on the 9th (first business day), I was promised a delivery would be added as an emergency. No oil still by the 13th March and a further call instigated a delivery the following day. The cost of which has significantly increased compared to when I should have received oil on the 9th Feb. The cheek goes further in that they have charged me for the incorrect delivery on the 9th February when it was Northern Energy's fault! Effectively, breaching Direct Debit rules when this was raised. Poor service and I await a satisfactory resolution within 8 weeks of my initial complaint.

I contacted the company to ask for a gas delivery. Our tank level was at 30% but in view of the Iran crisis I felt it wise to top up in case…. By phone I was given a date and a unit price of 62 pence per litre. On that date the company phoned to say the driver was sick so no delivery. I asked the price . It was 63 pence per litre. This also happened the next day …driver sick..no delivery! Finally on the third day the delivery arrived! Guess what price was! 67 pence per litre.
On 900 litres the difference is……quite a sum!
They should obviously get their driver to go sick more often. A brilliant way to increase profits!
My contract comes to an end in August. Farewell Northern Energy!
PS 24 hrs later. A very much appreciated phone call from Northern Energy, admitting their mistake and restoring the original price…..changes everything! Five stars restored! Trust Pilot you do a great job!

Paul very kindly came to my house with some details of Northern energy really polite and informative the rates were absolutely amazing was paying so much more with another company so decided to switch immediately. The switch was so easy and quick no problems whatsoever and the customer service team were exceptional too !! My thanks to Paul as my bills going forward are almost half the cost they were ! Can’t thank him enough absolute star ! :) :)

We’ve used Northern Energy for more than ten years. We used them for oil deliveries and currently use them for gas. In all of the time that we have used their services we have found them to be competitively priced and very reliable. I would recommend them.

Unlike their competitors, Northern Energy employs drivers that are customer facing, professional and very courteous.
Also, It is easy to speak with customer services and I always feel treated like a valuable customer.
No longer do I have to dread an LPG delivery :)

At 8am today the gate wasn't open for the delivery, yes my fault, but we have been using this company for a year and they have always delivered in the afternoon around 3pm (ALWAYS!!!). I phoned to ask when we could get a redelivery and Janet was very rude, saying no idea, being very obnoxious, unhelpful and that it was it was my fault for not leaving the gate open etc...Anyway, I've now gone with another company, with the added bonus of cheaper prices and they will deliver tomorrow no problem at all, so its worked out great for me. But I would have thought that if I was a valued customer spending £800 per month (I might add) that they could have been more helpful - the new company who I have never given a penny too were delightful.
Janet clearly has some issues she needs to work through, stress maybe, but that is no excuse to speak to customers like this, she obviously needs retraining on how to do her job or maybe find a new job?
Anyway Dreadful service, rude staff, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

First contact by phone answered in seconds (how can we help)
They handled the switch from AvantiGas opened a new account for us.
Delivered to our property on time NO Stress.
Defiantly Recommended Northern Energy all the team have been Amazing.

I love these guys! With my last LPG supplier, one of the biggest companies, I could never get through to them on the phone to order my gas. Even when I did get through, they didn't always turn up. I nearly ran out once and that makes you worry. I've been with Northern Energy over a year now and pay by direct debit. They just show up when they're in the area without being asked. If I do have to phone them, they answer the phone quickly. I now have a nice, full tank heading into winter!

The service from Northern Energy could not be faulted until we wanted to stitch to another supplier, a switch based on price of .15p per ltr lower which they could not match.
Ten weeks since new contracts signed but Northern Energy preventing the switch having failed to provide the necessary tank safety certificate to the new supplier.
Repeated fob offs and promises, but still no certificate issued. Gas now low heading into colder weather, I'm disabled and need heat and water, feel like I'm being held to ransom.
Note added: Thank you for replying, however nobody has been in contact with me thus far as you suggest is the case.

Stephen McDermott was our first contact with NE, he explained the all procedure. Everything sounded almost too good to be true!
But it soon became obvious that it was as good as he had promised!

Delivery driver Shaun, what an absolute professional, nice early morning delivery , very chatty exceptional delivery service. I have had numerous deliveries over the years, but this guy was exemplary service for his company Managers.
