As part of my role, I am responsible for ensuring adequate cover is in place across the sites I manage. Occasionally, we experience situations where staff are unable to attend work at short notice, and we rely on agency support to maintain service delivery. Whilst we can often provide temporary cover from within our own workforce, there are times when external assistance is required.

On the Friday prior to a recent weekend, we faced significant difficulties securing cover for both Saturday and Sunday shifts. I contacted Northern Security and initially spoke with their switchboard team. The service I received was excellent. The staff member was extremely helpful, took the time to understand the situation, and attempted to connect me with a branch closer to our location.

As all available contacts were busy, the switchboard team took my details and assured me they would continue trying to reach the appropriate people on my behalf. Within less than half an hour, I received a call back and the required cover for both days had been arranged.

The entire experience was very positive. Communication was prompt, professional, and reassuring throughout. The team at Northern Security demonstrated a genuine willingness to help and quickly resolved what could have been a very difficult staffing situation for us. Their support enabled us to secure the necessary cover and helped prevent disruption to service delivery.

Overall, I found Northern Security to be responsive, professional, and easy to deal with. On this occasion, they pulled us out of a difficult situation, and the level of customer service received was greatly appreciated.
