Criminal Negligence
You cannot get help from the inept unreachable doctors who are part of Northwell Lenox Hill Cardiology Practice. I had to scream and cry and keep calling simply to get a VITAL Rx refilled. I'm told "Don't yell." They refuse to call the pharmacy themselves and prefer to keep you out of medication and possibly cause your death. WHY are they allowed to keep treating human beings? I am shocked.

This is the most greedy corrupt organization on earth. They do not care about patients or their workers. Only money. They are absolutely vile people on every level. They all belong in prison.

Absolutely awful! You cannot contact any doctors directly, just put into a call center to leave messages. Nobody from Northwell Health Physicians Partners in Merrick ever returns any calls. Worst office I have ever dealt with in 40 years.

The only reason I picked one star is because I had to pick something, otherwise I give them a 0. You cannot reach your doctor or their office; you must go through a call service where you get a different representative each time you call and not one of them knows what they are talking about. Absolutely ridiculous. Over a month to get a prescription filled. Find other doctors.

Dr at NorthWell do not share patient test results. No point of having Epic.

Incompetent doctors, not enough nurses, apathetic administrators.

On 20 November 2025 I had blood drawn for several tests at Phelps Tarrytown - Northwell Health..

As of today, 12 December 2025, the results Do Not appear on my Epic chart.

At least six (6) Calls to the lab, and the patient advocate have received no response.

Phelps was terrific before Northwell.

Such is corporate medicine.

This place is a circus.Five hours later my issue wasn't resolved. Didn't get to see a real doctor.I was treated like I was stupid.Over crowded waiting rooms.Under staffed.Very poor communication.I left crying.

Worst ever. Does not allow you to message your MDs. Does not interface with other hospitals. Has two different sites for different issues. Horrible

Fun fact: in 2023, the CEO of Northwell Health made $7.8 million dollars. I make a heck of a lot less than that, and despite having insurance, I lost approximately 2% of my annual salary to a late-night emergency room visit during which the doctor visually inspected me and determined that I had a stress facture, not a deep-vein thrombosis. I was with the doctor for less than ten minutes. No diagnostic tests or medical interventions were performed--I did not receive so much as a single aspirin. Nevertheless, Northwell Health attempted to extract roughly $5000 from my insurance company. When my insurance company didn't cough up this outrageous sum in full, the balance fell on me.

The individual health care providers at Northwell Health may be decent, but the people running the place are disgusting bottom feeders who would push their own grandmothers down the stairs if they thought they'd get five bucks out of it. If you use Northwell Health, do so with extreme caution; get a billing estimate before you receive treatment, document everything, and be prepared to get bent over a barrel anyway at the end of it all.

Room for improvement here. There are exceptional doctors and their hospital in Manhasset is incredible. It’s difficult to get anyone to follow back up on things they say they will need to investigate further. Some doctors can be quite conservative and condescending and don’t even try to hide their lack of interest in your care.

This is the second year in a row that Northwell Health Labs is sending me bogus medical bills for annual physical lab work that is covered 100% by my insurance. They never responded to my attempts at resolution, and instead sent those bogus bills to a collection agency. Find other options if you value your time and your money.

IN MY OPINION:
Besides misdiagnosing my condition, (IN MY OPINION) by many of the neurological "doctors" and performing irrelevant (IN MY OPINION) tests (including a spinal tap), -a follow-up appointment that I scheduled 3 months in advance -was cancelled by Northwell 2 weeks prior to the appointment!!!!!!

GET A SECOND OPINION from outside of northwell. Twice now i’ve been ok’d as not having something (woohoo!) (from outside of northwell) when northwell said i did (tsk). This goes for their imaging as well. Let me rephrase. Nwell said i had something, and a non-nwell medical practice said i did not have something. 2 different things on 2 different body parts.

Docs are great. but, their patient portal sucks!!! Big time!!!
I can't get in, again. I tried mightily to recover my username and password. No luck. Never got the emails. So I called tech support. Spent a humongous amount of time on hold. Then spent a lot of time with the techie. She really tried to help, but to no avail.
After hours, I still can't get into the portal to access my records. Garbage!
