I met Joseph from Nova Financial at an investment event late last year and arranged a consultation. The meeting was extensive, he covered off on our finances/income etc. and what is the reason we were investing in the first place. We had actually been researching how to invest in property for about 12 months so it was very helpful to get some balanced advice on different strategies. We have now exchanged contracts on our first buy to let property and are also reviewing our mortgage. We couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Joseph the team at Nova! Definitely recommend!

Established property company led by Paul Mahoney. Structures and helps build your property business. Does the whole package of sourcing, packaging and purchasing. Paul himself is very hands on and approachable.

The head office is in London and they also could arrange mortgages and sort out the legal work required. No charge or fees to investors, their income is from developers they help sell the properties.

Only down side is they only work with off plan properties. If you are looking to build a portfolio of new built off plan properties, they are the specialist.

Had intro meeting with Karolina - was v impressed by her patience, thoroughness, and clarity of explanation, as well as by the company’s pragmatic approach in general. Would highly recommend based impression so far.

Working with Saied Ansari at Nova Financial Group was a great experience. He was detail-oriented, fast, efficient, extremely professional and incredibly well informed. 3 years after my initial engagement with Nova, I have gone through the full cycle of purchasing a BTL property they recommended and used their additional paid services (furniture pack sourcing, snagging, mortgage broker, fully managed property management). The original review below still stands from the level of confidence provided in the investment recommended point of view, Saeid had continued to make himself available and assisted were possible. Unfortunately, it's in the after sales & additional services offered by Nova in which issues started to crop up. Furnishing the property with cheaper quality than was agreed which was only noted when I highlighted this on my visit and was upgraded over 6 months later. Sub-par snagging service in which existing issues kept on getting missed during the 1 year that Nova managed my property - I eventually resolved all remaining snags myself by liaising with the developer. My experience with the mortgage broker team was initially quite bad with unsuitable products being recommended, however this is partially down to 1 individual who left Nova shortly after. It was then picked up by Joseph Hegarty who did a great job at getting the mortgage offer on time for completion - considering also it was during complicated Covid times. The biggest challenge though was experienced during the year that Nova fully managed my property, it was rented out to tenants who damaged the property in its first year as a new build - by the end I had to request that most of the property be repainted, carpets and flooring needed replacing as they were damaged through negligent use & parties being held by tenants. This was contrary to what was agreed in terms of renting to professional tenants. In the end, I decided to get my property managed by another estate agency which is very well reviewed, achieved higher rental yield and at lower fees. I wanted to update this review to provide a holistic view of how my experience with Nova developed with respect to all the services they provide from start to finish. For a fully managed service, it required a lot of involvement from my end to achieve the excellent quality management I had expected. I think in this respect Nova is still a young company which is developing and as per my feedback, trying to provide all services without adequate resources, resulted in an average service overall.

I have invested in my first Buy to Let property with Nova about 7 months ago and have been very impressed with the professional manner & time dedicated throughout the process. Being my first property investment I had many questions which Saeid and the team made sure I understood and that i was confident about the reasoning behind the chosen investment. The best investment strategy was recommended to me after discussing my financial goals. Working with Nova has also been an education for me to get a better understanding of a market which has become quite complex. Last but not least, whenever I asked for the detail behind the numbers, they were always willing to share information which I felt would help me make a decision. I would definitely recommend Nova to anyone who is looking to deploy their funds into property investments with a sense of serenity. Looking forward to work with Nova again in the near future.

Fantastic service!
Nova guided me through buying my first buy to let property and really made me feel at ease throughout the process. Kaz Topham was my client adviser during the process and was fantastic. Kaz and the rest of the team clearly explained and advised through each step making a big and somewhat daunting task far more manageable. All their advise was in line with the research I had done into property investing as well as providing far more in depth information. Best of all all of their advice was tailored to my own individual needs and personal circumstances. I am looking forward to doing more business with Nova in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to invest in property.
