We have been working with NWH for over 5 years and it has been an amazing experience. The team is very supportive, great communication, quick and professional way of day by day business . Great experience to work specially with Gemma Sim who is very professional and supportive.

Bought concrete from this company a few years ago. I have been in the industry for 30 years. Tilcon mixer driver, then to driveway installation. The 3 driveways that I done using there concrete have started to breakup. This is caused by there use of non virgin aggregates. There is pieces of wood MDF glass tar and all sorts of foreign objects becoming exposed. As there is no mechanical adhesion so the concrete has become exposed. I brought it to Ricky Rae attention and he sent the complaint to the DAVIE’s Group in Glasgow was fobbed by lies the. The driveways have to be replaced I am not looking for compensation just what it would cost for materials.

I have tried to contact Murray twice after I received a missed call. Also sent 2 texts.

Awful NWH skip driver on northbound A7 before Stow around 9.30am on 28th March.

Total arrogance and unsafe driving and disregard for the Highway Code ie slow moving vechicle should pull over to allow passing and not impede overtaking by speeding up.
The NWH driver impeded other road users by driving between 35 and 40mph and causing tail backs of 5 to 10 cars.
What kind of service does this firm provide if this is how they let their drivers behave ?

I have a prompt response and very clear expectations of the procedures.

Honestly, the worst company that I've dealt with over the last three years. You get so much conflicting information. We've paid for all our services via direct debit for three years. All of a sudden we were informed that payments needed to be made over the phone, 'up front' as the so called policy had now changed. Very inconvenient and unsafe having to give card details over the phone especially since our company was a victim of fraud a few months ago. So uncomfortable having to work like this. All this on top of the numerous other issues we have had with this refuse company during the time we've been with them including rude and awkward drivers.
Never know what's going on with this company. Better to find a collection company with better customer service.

Edit: In reply, this was just not the case as my order 3 weeks ago went straight onto Direct Debit, Nicola and payment has already come out of the account. Called this week to be told pay over the phone. Therefore, I do not agree with your comments as I've had to deal with this company for the past three years. It is just not safe to be supplying details over the phone anymore. As explained previously, we have already been victims of card fraud and the bank advice was to protect card details at all times. The person was so rude when I asked if this was a safe method.
Would you like to see all the orders and Direct Debit payments to clarify your comments. Yet again, incorrect information supplied.

NWH is a well organised, good value and responsible supplier.

Amanda Knox is super honest and efficient with our account. She has introduced a matrix for our account and we have found this really beneficial. Any enquiries or issues, Amanda is quick to resolve and ensures we have a great service from NWH. Disappointing service when trying to hire a skip for domestic use. The price quoted on the website was incorrect by £80 (price was for hire in Scotland, not England) - significantly more expensive than their competitors - and this was only highlighted when the company called to take payment. Unfortunately the company would not honour the price they had quoted. It is not made clear when booking a skip online that bookings are not actually completed online and you need to await a call from the company to take payment. As I booked on a Friday night, by the time they called on Monday and explained the quotation was incorrect, I was unable to get a skip delivered on the day I wanted from another company. Please make sure your website is accurate so other potential customers are not misled and inconvenienced.

Never ordered anything before but the staff were so helpful And informative. Big shout to Lisa for her brilliant customer service.
