Brittany (manager) was extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. I received a text message Sunday evening stating that my move was set for the following Friday. I called Monday morning requesting to move the date. I was told that I had to pay a $400 fine to do so, despite their policy being that they require 5 business days to change a date (Sunday evening is not a business day, despite their company claiming so). I cancelled my trip with them and lost my deposit. It was a tough decision. I would not recommend anyone work with this company -- work with a company that wants to work with you versus trying to charge you additional bogus fees.

I was nervous because I had heard terrible things about the moving business but these guys seem to handle it very differently. My representative Jenn was with me through the entire experience, I could always text or call her to ask questions, from booking to delivery. We moved from Colorado to Florida and had a really great experience. I think the difference may be that we were upfront with our inventory and don’t leave anything out to try and sneak it in for a lower price, so we didn’t see any price increases as some other did that left reviews. If you are looking for a great family owned moving company that will give you good service at a good price then you have come to the right place. My mother will be using them on her next move.

Oakdale is the best! They did our move for us and also gave the best rate. They were super fast and helpful

1. Sam Cohen Sales agent - WILL TELL YOU TO CONTACT HIM ON HIS CELL SO THE CALL IS NOT RECORDED. THEN HE WILL TELL YOU LIE ON THE SERVICE. “ WE PICK UP AMD DRIVE DIRECTLY TO THE DESTINATION” WHICH IS A LIE, SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR DOCUMENTATION TO PROVE THAT THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE. THEN URGE YOU TO SIGN CONTRACT SO THEY CAN CONFORM YOUR SPOT.

2. THEN AFTER THE DEADLINE FOR CANCELLATION YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY DIFFERENT MOVING COMPANY TO SIGN BILL OF LANDING.

3. WHEN YOU ASK FOR MANAGER YOU WILL GET “Brittany Dial
Customer Service Supervisor” WHO IS INCOMPETENT OF EVEN THE SLIGHTEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE ONLY KNOWS HOW TO TROW AT YOU “ you signed a contract” SO DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME TALKING TO HER REACH/ GO AFTER THE BUSINESS LICENCE HOLDER “Riccardiardi Gregory” AS THIS PRACTICE IS SCAM AND SHOULD NOT STAND TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE AT THEIR VULNERABLE STAGE.

This is your warning. Do NOT use this co. They will talk on phone with you. Get every piece of furniture. Etc. They will quote you a full price. Total move cost. Including boxes then the
The moving co. Who you will have no clue who it is will show up. Tell you that only half of your furniture will fit because your allowed only so many cubic feet. Then you will be charged DOUBLE what you agreed to. Then your furniture is sent to a warehouse along with 3 other customers furniture.
It won't move from warehouse for 1 week. If they mix yours and someone else? Sorry about that.
Break your tv...you get 60 cents per pound. So a $1000 tv you get maybe 18 dollars.
Go ahead read the good reviews. But this is a WARNING. You will get F'd. And don't bother calling co. They will tell you sorry. They don't control trucking co.
So if you choose to use them. Be ready !! They will blame you for having more furniture than you said. Then they will hang up when you question.
When I moved the movers had his helpers quit. So he and I unloaded. I got charged 6000 to move my own stuff and I'm 67

This place is a scam. They’re brokers who will tell you what you want to hear to secure your business. It’s only after the movers arrive that you realize you’ve been suckered. We were told our stuff would arrive 7-10 days after pickup. Once we arrived at our new home, we’re told they have no date available and can hold our stuff for up to 21 days. Don’t waste your time with this company.

My move with these men was so easy, it was ridiculous. My pool table was taken apart and reassembled in no time.

Horrible experience with this scam of a company. They will sweet talk you to get your business. But once you’re roped in, with down payment and all, they treat you like dirt. The initial quote almost doubled when pick up time came. Plus there was an additional charge in delivery. What a joke! What annoyed me more is the promised dates. First the pick up was moved from May 3 to 4. No issue with that. But the nightmare was just beginning. Delivery was promised the next day so I called out from work to accommodate them. No delivery happened. Wasted the whole day waiting. I followed up and followed up the following days. No deliveries still. Customer service is no help (Bethany is useless!). They keep saying wait for the call from the driver. This back and forth with them went on for a week with no info as to where my things are. In the meantime, I’ve been sleeping on the floor of my empty apartment because they have my mattress. Thankfully their most sensible customer service representative Thomas answered my call and made things happen. The delivery arrived May 12. A week later! With some investigating, I found out that my things were sitting in a warehouse just a short distance from my delivery location, for one week! One whole week! But the nightmare didn’t end with the delivery. Upon inspection, many of my stuff were missing. And some of the furniture that arrived were damaged. As expected, they didn’t care what happened to my missing stuff. Just file a claim they say. Overall, dealing with Oakdale was one of the worst experiences in my life. Don’t bother doing business with them. So bad! So so bad!

Very professional and quick delivery process. They even set up my new place. Definitely saved my back some wear and tear!

Oakdale Moving and Storage movers arrived on time and were courteous. They handled my new furnishings and house with great care. One of the members of their team did strike me as a little dodgy, but that was probably just my impression. Anyhow, you did fantastic.

Beware this is a brokerage company that will book your business and then send the moving job to another moving company. They will not tell you which moving company is fulfilling your moving job until after the 72 hour cancelation fee.

My move was given to a company called INTEGRATED MOVING SOLUTIONS. Look it up....1 star review, tons of better business bureau complaints.

When you call the customer service agent is rude and unhelpful. They try to minimize your concerns about the quality of the moving companies they assign to move your stuff. Literally told me "just take my word the online reviews aren't real"

It is a complete switch up job. Oakdale Moving and Storage has great reviews and online looks like a good company, but when they have your deposit money, they turn around and contract out to some low quality subcontractor.

I was contacted by Oakdale Moving and Atorage who farmed me out to others. They are a broker. Broker is a good word for how damaged my load was. They will not answer my calls or send me an insurance form. WARNING do not use these people. Most of my household furniture was destroyed.

Listen...I don't recommend this company. They contract your move to other carriers and when the other carriers charge you more last minute...they tell you there is nothing they can do. They sell you a lie on the phone so you can sign the contract. Horrible experience

would give them 0 stars. I am a disabled Vet who was going to move. I thought everything was fine, until the home purchase fell through. this company refuses to return my deposit. I mad the deposit before I signed a contract. their is only a 72 hr cancellation policy, buried in the contract. no one identified this in any conversation. I canceled over a month before the scheduled move. the refused to return the deposit. this is one shady company and the billing department and customer service is terrible. they said only the owner can enable a refund and they refused to give me their contact info.

They stored all of my equipment after packing it up like it was nothing.

What made my experience great is that they were very good at telling me what I needed to do to be prepared and they helped me with anything I was not able to do. They took care of boxing and putting protective cover on all of my items and furniture too. When the delivery came there was nothing damaged at all, no broken glass table tops, which I was nervous about, not even a scratch. They were great with communicating times and dates and were always on time as well.

The rep, Jason Moore, has made my moving experience so pleasant and efficient! Pricing and customer service met my requirements. I will definitely be recommending him to others. Thank you so much for your help!!
