Shipping box ruined surprise
The price, the shipping times, the clarity were all great but the packaging gave away the surprise - a 'gift wrap' or neutral packaging option would have been stellar.

We're sorry to hear that the packaging revealed the surprise of your order. This particular product has custom packaging from the factory to ensure full protection during shipping, but we could have added a neutral box to cover it if we knew it was for a gift.
We do offer our customers the chance to customize their gifts by choosing from our selection of wrapping papers and gift tags on our “Gift Wrapping” page. You can also choose to utilize the "order note" field during the checkout process or contact us directly if you have specific requirements. We are willing to go to great lengths to ensure a good gift experience including but not limited to making the package very inconspicuous :)
We are currently updating our website with some new looks and it will be a priority to make the gift-wrapping options easier to notice.

Really glad that I've found them
So far I've only bought there once, but it was a rather large order and all went by the book (with a little bonus on top).
What caught me, was the competitive price on a number of items for which I've been on the lookout for some time now (a rare treat, seeing someone beat the familiar well established competition).
The order went through without any issues and was dispatched almost immediately. No need for contact. The items were as described and very well packaged (someone has clearly given this task a thought).
I will definitely check them out next time.

Superb customer service
Great customer service! The boardgame I ordered was damaged due to rough handling by the carrier. Oaken vault provided super and fast customer service - and endured I'd have a new game quickly. Also they have a 100 day return policy.

This company is amazing
This company is amazing. The ordering process was easy and when I had an issue with delivery they were straight on it. Unfortunately they were not able to sort DPD being stupid about their import charges out however they then changed delivery company and sent my parcel again free of charge. I wish more companies were as easy to communicate with.

Great company
On the fence at first since I'm in Holland and OakenVault is in Denmark. Especially since it was regarding a Kickstarter (Castles of Burgundy: Special Edition).
Those worries were quickly taken away by Benjamin who I had some contact with. He assured me of the correct version, and it's contents. Also that when I placed my order there was virtually no way I could be slighted by too many orders or whatever. Ánd that there were not going to be extra costs regarding (import) VAT / shipping or things like that.
Overall superb experience with this great company and even nicer employees. Thanks again Benjamin!

They have the best customer service!
I placed an order from Belgium and it arrived within a few days. We received by accident a broken part which was a manufacturing issue. After emailing we were helped immediately and within less than a week we received the correct part.
