From start to finish, very professional. Always happy to talk things through and give you some real advice that will no doubt benefit your career move. They have a very diplomatic and fair approach to client and candidate, will advise both yourself and the client to make the transition from current employer amicable. Nice to know there are decent recruitment agencies out there, and not just to make a quick buck out of you. Should the situation arise again, I will in doubt use their services from both sides of the fence.

I've had experience with a recruiters before and oakstone really went above and beyond. Ben kept me updated daily and it they were always available when I needed them. Ben and Steve worked tirelessly to make sure I was fully prepared for each stage and the arrangements of each stage felt seamless.

I had a wonderful experience working with Arran at Oakstone. From our first call, Arran took a very thoughtful and considerate approach. He took the time to understand me as a person, and identify my potential motivations for exploring a new opportunity, as well as understanding my strengths and experience, and how it may be a good fit for the role. Arran did a great job of staying in touch and keeping me informed throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend working with him enough! I now consider Arran a good friend who I will continue to keep in touch with.

My experience working with Arran and Oakstone was very positive and professional. Arran sourced me as a passive candidate and his information and knowledge of the role, the organization, and the leader he was recruiting for drew me in. I have worked with a few recruiters in the past and Arran was by far the most prepared and informed. He took the time to get to know me and what was important to me. He was looking for a legit match rather than just putting another person in front of his client. Arran guided me through the process and interviews, always following up after each interview plus providing feedback as things progressed. I really felt like I had a partner plus I added a really great human to my network! Great results, even better experience! I have had the pleasure to work with Arran at Oakstone over the last 6+ months on some very unique and niche requirements. My expectations were low as I had already been working with a recruitment firm for the previous 6 months with no success. Arran took the time to really understand what I was looking for and was able to find me some great candidates that I was able to higher. Arran was able to successfully do his job but what separates him and Oakstone from the other recruitment firms I have dealt with is his attention to detail, his thoroughness, and most importantly his thoughtfulness. Only upon reflecting on my experience to write this review has it truly dawned on me that Oakstone are a recruitment company. That is testament to a number of things:-
1) The partnership approach

2) Them (specifically Burnice) having my best interest at heart vs forcing a fit for commission purposes

3) For this particular role Burnice demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of: the Employer; the personality of the hiring managers and their reporting lines all the way up to the CEO; the company focus, direction and priorities and culture; most importantly she was clear on the type of attitude, the philosophical and practical approach the application of the ideal candidates skillset and personality that would be provide the best fit outcome for candidate and employer.

4) Her conviction and belief in the fit between myself and the now soon to be my new employer was inspiring and even more so when i experienced why she had such a belief in the fit myself (as the interview stages progressed). it definitely NEVER felt like pressure or a selfish belief she had that didnt have a strong basis in understanding...etc

5) She also basically provided everything i needed - presenting all it like a project pack/portfolio containing all i needed to know about the company and the individuals involved in the process - that was impressive as it made my research start point a lot easier

6) Lastly Burnice and I could have very candid and robust conversations as per getting on the same page about any concerns, queries, approach to negotiations and realistic outcomes...etc.

Not once did I experience that guilt or pressure when you know you have to tell the recruiter that role isn't right, but they cannot see it because they are under pressure to hit targets and fill a role, and you happen to be the the only decent fish they have found in their net! LOL!

They even offered to send me a card - for landing me my ideal and best offer of my career seeking campaign!!!!

Fantastic experience. I hope i will not have to use Oakstone again anytime soon - but if I do, then I will be happy to.
