Great oat drink but needs more salt and fat
Oatentik is a company based in Slovenia, which produces organic oat drink powder using spray drying and sells the dried powder to consumers. I saw one of their instagram ads and thought I would check it out. I think it's a great option for people going on vacation/to places where oat milk is not available or widely offered as an option in supermarkets or restaurants. It foams amazingly, even better than Oatly and it tastes very soft, neutral vanilla sweet but you will need 3 scoops per 500ml, not 2. I like that there are no gums or fillers or artificial preservatives. But to be honest it is SO clean that trying to get family members to use it is hard. Because they are used to the more salty plant-based drinks 0.1-0.5g per 100ml and Oatentik is only 0.01g. Also, Oatly is a lot fatter with 2.6g fat. My family thinks this is a very low-fat oat milk. They say it's too watery, but it's actually a more intense flavor. The only thing that differs is that it's less fat, which fills less, which gives the milk feel to oat milk. I wish they had a full fat oat powder version. Right now I sprinkle just a tiny bit of salt in my shaker every time, because it REALLY needs salt. They use GLS for shipping and it comes all the way from Slovenia. But it still saves a lot of packaging. Sometimes they're out of shakers, so I would go for the option without shaker.
