Have had a really positive experience with Octopus Investments Ltd. The team followed up and touched base all the way through to ensure everything was clearly understood by us. The home visit team were lovely and we have received nothing but support and care throughout our journey.

I just completed another case with Octopus and dealt with Oli Porter upfront, Greg Walsh and the credit manager, Robert Mynott, who were all brilliant. This was a smooth, fast, efficient transaction from start to finish. We only had a month to complete the case, from initial enquiry to completion, as the borrower was over term with current lender, who had already provided a one month extension to refinance before enforcing. Everyone pulled together and we hit the deadline, which saved the clients £9k in default interest. This was a dev-exit loan on a Grade II listed farmhouse, with a thatched roof and one of the share-holders was resident in US. Great result and a market-leading rate of 0.7% pm! Happy clients. You need a lender who can be flexible and find solutions when things don't always go to plan and Octopus were able to 'take a view' on issues that arose to make sure we still hit the deadline.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Octopus Real-Estate team again and looking to work with them again on future deals.

Too much asking silly question that no need to ask and their solicitors are the worst you can expect charlotte ward ( from field fisher ) n at the end u have to pay their solicitor from your pocket ( stealing you in different way ) don’t try even to contact them …. charged me a fortune for a bridging loan and now what to charge me more fees to replay them. Thats not happening.
This morning I was told I would be sent the form that states I HAVE to use a solicitor to repay my loan. Guess what ....its not arrived!! REPLY TO OCTOPUS RESPONSE. A LIE

As a broker one of your main problems is finding a lender who understands the clients needs. From the initial enquiry with Oliver Porter (BDM), too the underwriting of Paul Mann both were constantly looking for solutions rather than highlighting problems.
