Travel with purpose, adventure and joy
This was our third trip with Off Cape Experiences, traveling with Erik and legendary guide Swai – and once again it was extraordinary.
Erik’s attention to detail is remarkable. My husband has food allergies and Erik ensured every lodge was fully prepared, so we could simply relax. His background with student and exploration groups means safety is always top of mind, and his photography skills and tips made the trip even more memorable.
Swai is a guide of unmatched skill, with deep natural history knowledge and an instinct for being in the right place at the right time. Together, Erik and Swai also make the trips a lot of fun – full of warmth, good humor, and plenty of laughter along the way.
Because it was our third visit, we explored remote places: Lake Natron, timeless and raw; Kogatende, where we witnessed a dramatic wildebeest crossing; and the Serengeti, where we spent time with hippos (my special request).
What makes Off Cape Experiences unique is Erik’s sense of purpose. We again visited the school he supports, which now feels like family.
