Money never refunded

I was encouraged by staff to use tge self printing as it was "Cheaper". $10 was taken from my account and never returned. I was told it would refund asap... 24 hours max. It wasnt Absolute criminals. I cant prove it despite seeing my account reduce by $10. Gotta love those "dissapearing transactions that (conveniently) fall off your acccount"... NEVER AGAIN!

Terrible service with returns

Terrible service when trying to return a Pixel 8 phone with a green screen issue. Have to wait 2-4 weeks now without a phone for it to be assessed.

Excellent Customer Service and Printing Quality

Excellent experience will multiple staff at Office Works Preston, Vic. And their printing quality is excellent. I have printed greeting cards with them and was so impressed with the quality. They even cut them perfectly to size and included extra prints. I've also printed black and white laser printing through them and the printing quality is top notch and an excellent price. Loved that I could go in with a USB stick and get the black and white prints done on the spot.

Excellent friendly customer service.

Yesterday I was in Officeworks near Marion to find a charger for an old electronic item I own because the original charger had perished. I spent abit of time trying to work it out. But I had a very friendly employee named Jamie ask if I wanted help, and made my day, by helping me find a solution and testing it to make sure it worked. Very happy customer.

Lack of human contact re phone call poor customer service

I tried to talk to somone by phone to find out if they had a certain product in stock but all I got was an automated response which had no relevence to my question except to direct me to a website or directions to a store. So much for customer service or lack of it and that is NOT directed at anyone at an actual store which I have always found helpful but rather at Officeworks itself.

Constant issues on their website

Overpriced for majority of items,
Website WILL auto select leave unattended, so watch out for that! 5 times for their site to freeze on purchase today, which is not uncommon, i am forced to go with Officeworks for our office, 6 years of website issues, i have never had an easy experience on their website.
The biggest peeve of it all - Is getting right to the end, for it to redo your whole order again because its out of stock... maybe just do what every other site does and say OUT OF STOCK on the item? would really help! Back and forth 5 times and 20 minutes to check out - Its so bad i wish i never had to use it.

Waiting for the delivery of a MacBook…

Waiting for the delivery of a MacBook I purchased to the closest store. Supposed to be available for pickup yesterday. Tracker has shown for 2 days it’s in transit to the store. Time has passed. Local Officeworks haven’t received it with rest of deliveries. Suggested I call main office. They can’t tell where it is or why it hasn’t been delivered. So, non-one knows, and seems no-one can do anything about it. Suggested I just wait.
I asked them to cancel and refund me so I can walk in to Jb Hifi and purchase it. They agreed and said they will process it right away and I will receive an email notification confirming it. 5 hours later and still no confirmation.

Flabbergasted how poor their controls and processes are. I spend over $15k+ pa at Officeworks for my business. Not anymore. I’ve found Harvey Norman and JB/Goodguys (who have offered me corporate pricing) more reliable and accommodating.

EDIT: what is shocking is that I cannot have my money refunded until the item arrives in the store. That is, the item that no-one knows where it is. So, I have been told it could take a week, a month or whatever for me to get my refund. I asked what happens if it never arrives? They said they didn’t know. I asked if I could just swap it for a different colour in stock? Answer was ‘NO’. Would need to refund first. That is, when it turns up!! How can this be allowed to happen? Wesfarmers has a lot to answer for. It’s my money and their stuff up, yet I can’t get my money back yet.

appalling service by Greg at the Box…

appalling service by Greg at the Box Hill South store. we stood at the counter for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged while Greg spoke casually to a colleague. When i challenged Greg for some service his reply was " cant I finish what I'm doing" we had a bit of to and fro reggarding the fact he couldve said something like " i'll be with you in a minute" but he just argued the point and walked away. Thankfully the colleague took care of our needs. wont be going backl to this store and not Officeworks for a while

Poor quality product and poor customer care

I bought a deck from Officeworks and paid someone to install it.
It was damaged and when I told them they said we don’t carry this product anymore. We will take the desk back and return your money.
My question is why did you deliver a poor quality product?
What do you do to reimburse me for all time and energy that I spent before and after delivery of product?
How will reimburse me for money that I have paid for installation?

Pathetic- order Tuesday next day delivery is a guessing game - now Thursday afternoon and they cant tell me where the order is. Ring the store, put on hold for 12m then they hang up on you. Last order from these clowns

i attended office work Cockburn Store
and received Excellent assistance/help
I'm the first to admit i am not very good with modern technology and i needed to download some old photo's from the 1940 and staff put the oroginal photo's onto USB then i had a very well mannered young man who assisted me the whole time and ajusted ,enlarged each photo i wanted i cant thank him enough
The staff at the photography desk and printing section were extremely friendly helpful and i could not ask for better assistance My Reprints of the old photo's have turned out really good
so thank you It was very busy section and i took up a lot of their time but they did not rush me and i felt comfortable in that enviroment. Even the public waiting in line behind me were polite and not rude
The management and the Owners of Officeworks should be proud of this branch and staff they have employed

Do not buy officeworks chairs

Bought a simple home office chair. Now the gas lift is expired. Officeworks don't sell the replacements, I had to buy this on ebay from China.

Then I could not remove the old gas lift.

Customer service was woeful and requests to escalate problem were denied.

So now I have no chair, but I have the parts, which I cannot use because I don't have the information to fix it.

Recommend not buying any chair from Officeworks.

False Promise

It's my son's birthday on 25th Aug and I ordered something for his birthday. Delivery day was given for Friday that's why I ordered it in Weatherill Park branch. Upon calling I was told that now it will be on Monday, pass my son's birthday. Worst experience 😪.

The delivery service is just a joke! I ordered a very small product from a Dee Why shop on August 13, I live in the northern suburbs and they said it was going to be delivered on the 15, of course didn't get it. Called today 16 and they said it was coming today. I just got a message that "I live further that they expected" and it will take 2 more business days!!! Worst service ever!!!
