I'm sorry about the delay on the delivery, but thankfully, I can see from the tracking that it was delivered just twenty minutes after you left this review.
Sadly, delivery times are largely out of our control. I can see that your order was placed late on a Friday afternoon and shipped on the following Monday; unfortunately, you chose Evri as a delivery option out of the four that were available, and Evri are notorious for unpredictable shipping times. I can also see from the delivery photo that they bashed a hole in the side of the shipping box, so I hope your order is okay!
These problems are why this is written in the shopping cart and checkout:
"With times getting even harder and inflation continuing to push prices ever higher, we continue to offer Evri/Hermes as a budget shipping option to many locations, but we highly recommend choosing another shipping option if you can afford/justify it - it'll be faster, more reliable, and less stress for everyone involved."
Royal Mail/Parcelforce is an extra £3.50 for an order of that size, and while I appreciate that spending any extra money on shipping sucks, it's almost always worth it. I wish I could bring the cost down more, but again, we're somewhat hamstrung by what the couriers themselves are charging - DHL's prices in the UK have doubled in the eight years Offset has existed, for instance.
But yes: this is why I tell people not to use Evri where possible and why I try to avoid them when purchasing things online myself. They're the worst, and I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them.

Tony is by far one of the single most communicative and friendly business owners i have ever had to deal with he is straight forward and willing to accomodate requests if you ask nicely and even reached out to me himself to update me about an order delay without me even having to ask. If offset has something you want order it from them they deserve your support.
