Superb wooden mantle, made to measure, clear instructions, made in good time, very happy with it, thank you so much

Exactly what I wanted, easy to order and arrived in good time. It’s a really solid piece of kit and matches perfectly with my hall mirror.

Ordered coat hooks on January 14th, with 2-3 week delivery and not turned up yet. (Feb 24th EOD)

I understand things can be delayed, but there is absolutely no customer service. Emailed with no response, called but get hung up on by the automated system.

I then got a text from Dom saying am I enjoying my order. I replied to say I've not got it yet and received nothing.

Impossible to get hold of anyone to actually solve this.

Great service all round. Easy to order online. The pictures are very accurate for the products. I think the quality of the product is very good and therefore well worth the slight wait given it’s made to order! I am sure I will be purchasing more products in the future! Thanks.

Have ordered an oak mantel shelf through B&Q. It should have arrived a week ago and despite being advised it has been despatched, there is no sign of it. Have made 3 calls to B&Q and now just want a refund but even this is proving difficult. What a joke!

Very happy with our new coat rack. Good quality wood, well made and easy to put up. Kept updated on the status of our order and had a follow up afterwards to check we were happy. Would be happy to order additional products from the company again in future.

We absolutely love our coffee table! Felt the website was easy enough to use. We received regular updates on the status of our delivery and then even got a follow up email from the owner of the company to make sure we were happy with it! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a high end design.

Everything about this is quality. I am delighted. I bought the 10 hook coat rack. Communication throughout was terrific. It’s in the hallway ready to be put up and already attracting compliments. Thank you Dom. it’s great.

Really easy to order exactly the right item. Excellent service and not hugely expensive for handmade craftsmanship. Progress updates throughout and felt valued as a customer.

Thank you

Lovely coat rack, very well-made, and has been much admired. I appreciate that it's a small business and everything is made to order, but it might help if Off the Grain indicated that there might be delays in production and delivery. I had to chase them, but their response was quick and the item then arrived. I also received personal follow-up to make sure everything was OK. Overall, happy with the experience; would use the company again.

Very happy with our lovely oak coat rack with shelf. The company kept us updated about when it was being made and despatched, the quality is excellent and it looks very good in our newly painted hallway! We are not the world's greatest DIYers but managed to put it up without too much difficulty. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered a coat rack which arrived in good time for a hand made piece. It’s of great quality and has really smartened up my hallway. Polite friendly communications too.

What a find. I have received my hallway coatrack and I am absolutely thrilled with it. What a joy to know my order is being made individually with progress emails. It is exactly what I was looking for with that handmade feel. Perfect.
Shall be ordering shelving next - but what to choose, so much choice

Found this business by pure chance and delighted I did! The TV unit is just what we wanted and is hand crafted. So pleased with everything that I ordered a custom made shelf.

Worth the wait, super quality product. Love it.

The coat rack was missing a screw when it arrived and the wood was marked. Something which I thought could be easily resolved by contacting Off the Grain by email - Off the Grain promised to send out a package but after several more emails, I've received nothing and heard no further other than automatic replies. So I have a coat rack with a screw that doesn't match and a mark on the wood - so disappointing.

I have had several pieces from Off the Grain and am really impressed with the quality of the oak, the workmanship is excellent as is the service. The floating shelves are brilliant as the fixings are hidden. I will be ordering more pieces in the coming months.

I’m delighted with my oak coat rack. It’s beautifully made from good quality wood. Having the mounting screws concealed under two of the hooks makes for a very neat finish. The customer service was excellent, I was kept informed of progress and also had a follow up text a couple of days after delivery to check if I was happy with everything.

Bought a coat rack from here and it looks great, very good quality, very happy with my purchase. Arrived about a week or so after ordering as advertised, kept me up to date with emails. Arrived in very good quality packaging so not worried it would get damaged in shipping.

Quality item, can't fault the company.
