Extraordinary trip- all of the details were arranged from start to finish. Really appreciated having all the plans set up so all we had to do was enjoy! We loved meeting the local people and seeing the animals in their wild environment. It was the trip of a lifetime! Thank you!

This was my second safari with Okavango Delta Explorations, and it was even better than the first. I look forward to booking with them again in the future!

Firstly, I found you on Google. A wonderful website. I was interest in a mobile camping safari ..more interested in the ecosystem, and all that was there, than focusing on just viewing the animals. Our guide, K.G. was a tracker, birder, and a warm knowledgeable guide. Five other, like minded people were also great companions for the Safari. We viewed 14 lions leapards, wild dogs hippos, elephants etc and dozens of birds. This was a perfect fit for me exceeding all expectations. Natalie

Everything went off as expected from airport pick up to drop off.
The staff at both camps were very efficient and attentive, with guides being very knowledgable. The food was excellent with different flavours. I got some recipes from them. Our accommodation was very comfortable and spacious.
The game drives at Sable Alley found us a good array of animals most times up close. The Leopard sighting being the highlight.
The water safaris at Camp Okavango were very interesting and good birdlife viewings.
The traditional singing before dinner at Camp Okavango was a nice way to start the meals

Louise at Okavango Delta Explorations was first class with regard to booking our safaris. From the initial contact to the follow up on our return we were provided with expert knowledge and a five star service. Louise booked us three safaris (Arathusa in Sabi Sands, Nxai Pan & Kwara in Botswana) along with the small flights to and from the camps. Louise has first hand knowledge of the safari camps so was able to guide us to the ones that would be perfect for us. All the documentation we received was so helpful along with the app where you can keep up to date with your travel plans and all the information needed. We would happily book with Louise again and we are already looking forward to another trip. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

I think Okavango Delta Explorations truly provided a memorable trip to Botswana and Victoria fall for my family. The most impressive part for me is how Okavango Delta Exploration can provide customized itinerary, trying every effort to meet customer's requirements. Maxine, who is responsible for designing the itinerary and getting everything ready, recommended several options for me based on the cost-effectiveness of each lodge, what we want to see and experience during the trip as well as how many days we will stay in each place. In addition, she also considered family tent for my family because my parents cannot speak English. Maxine also sent us several helpful infromation in advance before the travel, including Visa matters, gears, and weather. Our final trip is fantastic, we had wonderful hiking in Victoria falls and saw the baobab trees and lots of herbivore in Nxai pan. The most highlighted part is in the Splash camp, where we saw wild dogs! My parents also loved the boat safari and mokoro very much. I also want to appreciate our guide in Splash camp, Joe, who is very knowledgeable on surrounding nature. In conclusion, I would like express my great thanks to Okavango Delta Explorations, that planned this incredible travel for my family.

There are lots of logistics to going on safari and Okavango Delta did a great job in helping me sort out all the different options including locations and price points.

Sable Alley was amazing!! We all had the best time. The staff, food, guide and location were all great.
We had amazing wild dog sightings and even witnessed a kill.

Wow and Wow, again!! Such an amazing experience!
The entire trip was organized and seamlessly put together by Louise. I started out by doing my own research and came across this website. She popped up on a chat, asked questions and then she used our input as to what we were looking for and what we wanted to experience. It was a back and forth process over time that resulted in a smooth, effortless and very satisfying trip.
It was great to experience the different lodges, from the more intimate Okavango and Xakanaxa to the uniqueness of Chobe and the “wow” factor of Victoria Falls River Lodge. In the first two, my husband and I really liked being able to sit around a dinner table with other travellers and discuss our days and our sightings. We also very much enjoyed the unique aspect of each, whether it was a focus on land or water animals. The safaris were amazing (we saw SO MANY animals!) and the guides were exceptional. We especially loved the "sun-downer" custom!
Again, I can’t praise Louise enough for her attentiveness, for arranging the accommodations, the air travel, the transportation between lodges and all the extras (eg. the open door helicopter ride over the Okavango; the chopper ride over Victoria Falls-both were amazing). Thank you for creating an itinerary that so well matched our likes and tastes!

The entire trip was so well organized, an extreme relief as we were traveling halfway around the world, The ideas presented to us were nowhere near the actual experiences, just fabulous! Our accommodations, guides in particular, were unsurpassed in comparison to the many trips we have taken to date. Okacango Delta Explorations was , is the way to go, we are just so pleased that we chose them. A huge shout out to Maxine, she is the best!

Everything including the air transfers were seamless. Camps were great and so was the staf at all of the camps

Louise did an amazing job of advising us and helping to plan an unforgettable Botswana safari experience!! It was a special occasion- my 50th birthday- and I could not have asked for a better birthday celebration!! Simply magical! I highly recommend working with Louise. She has the local expertise and can help choose the best camps for your specific interests. She also helped by sending us a packing list, important documents, and what to expect every step of the way. Louise organised our whole trip seamlessly. Overall, we had an absolutely incredible time. We went to Camp Moremi, Xugana and Savute. The Desert and Delta and Old Drift campsites were lovely and all of them were well maintained with good food, good guides, great locations and we loved the differences between the sites.

All of our guides were good, Camp Moremi was incredible for animal viewing. We saw an abundance of animals (saw 4 of the big 5 in one day), and our guide went out of his way to search for wild dogs which we saw the very next day after we told him it was a key interest. The other also guides were excellent.

Logistics and travel between sites worked seamlessly and crossing the border into Zim was a breeze.
In terms of campsites, Savute and Moremi were standouts.

We had to book last minute as another holiday fell through and Louise took time to understand what we were looking for and the holiday exceeded expectations. Answered all my question in a timely way and I found Louise very easy to chat to. They even arranged some special moments as the trip celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary.

Louise designed a wonderful 3 week trip through southern Africa for us. We stayed in 3 safari camps, 4 lovely boutique hotels and enjoyed a 3 day trip on Rovos rail. All the accommodations were top notch and all transfers came without a hitch. Because of weather delays we arrived in country 2 days late but Louise was able to adjust the schedules seamlessly. It made for a memorable trip.
