I agree with the bad reviewers. Buyer beware. No telling if anything is in stock when you order and they will not reply to emails. I currently have two orders waiting for fulfillment from several wks ago. I will have to find another supplier now. Never again:(

TERRIBLE....Actually wish I could give less than one star! Ordered online in early November and was charged immediately. After waiting over a month and not hearing from them had to call repeatedly to actually get someone on the phone. Finally did after multiple tries per day over several days. They went and found the bottle and said they'd ship it, no explanation as to the delay since when I ordered said it was in stock. Fast forward and they sent the absolute wrong product. Called and they asked me to take a picture and email them and they'd be in contact within 48 hours. Over a week and no response. Again try to call and either busy signal, no answer or getting put on hold and then hung up on. Finally get a live person and explain the situation and response was "well it's only a wrong bottle of tequila so not a big deal for you". Asked what they would be doing about it (sent me a bottle worth less that half what I ordered) and asked if I wanted a refund for the difference. When I said no, it's not what I ordered he said I could send back...didn't offer to pay for me to return their error. When I pressed, he started yelling at me and berating me. Now I didn't yell at this man, call names, or anything to warrant his response. Net is please don't support these folks and be very careful if you are doing business online with them. Will have to call credit card company and dispute I guess...
Old Town Tequila has bad customer…
Old Town Tequila has bad customer service. I ordered the Cava De oro Extra Anejo Special Edition Ceramic 2, and received a different bottle. I asked if I could return it, but the want to charge me shipping fees for their mistake. Alma the store manager argued with me, saying there's a description on the bottom of the page where the bottle is displayed saying you might not receive the bottle you ordered, which I still don't see. My reply was"if its out of stock why doesn't the website say it out of stock like other websites. Also the bottle I receive is not on their website, so how do I know if the bottle they sent me is even worth $199.00 not including taxes and shipping frees. This company does not have the customers best interest.

These guys are absolute grifters , hold onto my $200, for 30 days, and never delivered! Cold the so-called phone number six times and got hung up on six times exclamation you cannot get through to talk to anyone !!!!it is just a voicemail !!!!!! it hangs up on you after we do the recording finishes! Been trying to email been trying to reach out, and still no response after 30 days !!!!!!!! They do not respond to my emails either! When I check on my order all it says is not shipped, but they still have the $200 from my credit card, what’s next? Small claims court? I hope this message find somebody and help somebody else not to be in the position I’m in!!!!! These guys are clowns! There are so many other people and so many other reliable services out there for better prices if you need tequila!

Refund problems
I ordered 2 bottles Moet x Abloh May 26, received "awaiting shipment" June 5. Had completely forgotten that I ordered since it took so long. Contacted the email on PayPal, received a reply the day after that the law had changed and that they could not send to Norway anymore. Only when I contacted them I got the refund back.
If ordering online
If ordering online, beware! Our first order never arrived - they didn't let me know, but it turns out it was never shipped. Tried a 2nd order with them 6 months later and when it hadn't shipped in a week I wrote them (no response) and then wrote again to discover they never even had the item in stock that they sold to me.
I was hesitant at first
I was hesitant purchasing a bottle from online as is and especially getting it delivered from Cali to FL. I wanted a specific bottle, very hard to find, and they had the best price, so i rolled the dice. A little skeptical at first, called to make sure my order was received and they had the merchandise and ETA when it'll ship. They assured me it will be shipped by end of the business week, which it did. Shipping cross country usually takes 5-7 business days, which is exactly what it took as well. Packaging was done perfect. It came it a basic outer box and the bottle was protected with some paper inside a special thick Styrofoam liner to make sure it was all protected. There was nothing wrong with this order and everything went so smoothly that i decided to order another bottle immediately. For me personally, from my experience i would ignore the other reviews. I can update this upon receiving the next shipment. But I would recommend 5/5

Terrible service, ordered 2 bottles of tequila in April and yet to receive an update.
Don't trust them they don't back there products.
I order twice with Old Town Tequila through mail order, I order some high-quality tequila sent to my home in Ohio that we are unable to get. The first order was perfect and we loved our tequila. The second-order $600 purchase and we had an issue with a bottle that had leaked during shipment. The issue was the lid was too small to keep the liquid in the bottle. The other two bottles were fine but for some reason this one was defective. I reached out via email twice, customer service three times, and then the owner. The bottle was north of $80, I said I would take a coupon or a discount my next shipment because shipping it back and getting a new one would be costly. The owner refused to even offer an apology or work with me. I am giving it three stars because the do a great job of shipping and packaging. This order was not their fault but the manufacturers. I just thought they would back their products or reach out to the distributor about the problem. I guess I need to go to another vendor but wanted to share my experience.

Took 3 weeks to get a simple, 2 bottle, order... after I paid nearly $30 in shipping costs. Emailed customer service for an update twice and never got a response. Finally got my order, but I'll never buy from them again.

I've made multiple orders from these guys over the years. They have amazing selection, great prices, and usually ship promptly. Due to Corona and everyone sheltering in place, they are super behind on shipping currently, and are not responding to emails well. I choose to cut them slack, for their usual great service. For a bunch of people that can't be bothered to drive to the liquor store currently, you'd think they would have more understanding. In general, this place is rock solid, minus crippling global pandemics.

I would give this zero stars if it was possible. my fault really I suppose as I should’ve read reviews before purchase but hey ho live and learn and all that. So I purchased 2 bottles online which were being shipped internationally to myself, hard bottles to find in the uk, hence after a lot of searching on the net I purchased from “ old town tequila” now initially the order went through no problems whatsoever and I got a confirmation email, (so far so good) but after I checked my confirmation I realised I’d made an error in the shipping address, so I contacted them immediately to let them know so they could rectify my error. No reply. 3 days pass and no update, so I once again contact the shop via email, asking for an update on my shipment/order just as I haven’t heard anything yet and was still showing in my orders as “awaiting shipment” this prompted me to check the shipping policy and due to the coronavirus pandemic, they stated they only ship items once a week, which I thought is fair enough and totally understand. So now 7 days and been and gone, still no reply from “old town tequila” I then check reviews of this establishment and I’m pretty horrified by what I’m reading, so I once again contact the shop looking for some sort of correspondence, to which again fell on deaf ears. Thankfully I paid via PayPal.. so I contact PayPal and give them this information. ALAS, “old town tequila” finally responds to me (only after I escalated a claim to PayPal by the way, classy) now I thought I’d maybe have received some sort of intellectual dialogue from “ Zack” but instead I was pretty much accused of being a scammer. Shocked to say the least I promptly emailed “Zack” back stating that in fact I was not a scammer but a potential customer who’s business he had now lost. (Refunded through PayPal). I’ve bought whiskies internationally many times with no issues whatsoever. But this place is something else, zero customer service and zero care. Only interested in getting money out of you. AVOID.

Had further emails from “old town tequila” no name on the emails this time, but once again accused of being a scammer and an alcoholic.... please any potential buyers, this shop does not deserve the custom.

Customer service by Old Town Tequila is horrible. I ordered 2 bottles on 4/17/20 and they still haven’t arrived. I sent them 2 messages on their internal message system and neither of them were answered. A couple of days later their system said my order was shipped on May 2 but they do not provide any tracking information. Today is May 14th and I have no idea when the shipment will arrive. I suspect that had I paid for express delivery I would have received the shipment in a timely manner.
I would buy from a different store
I had the same experience. The package didn't ship for days. One bottle was leaking. I am not even sure if I received the product I had ordered! The seals on the bottles look suspicious!

Worst customer service ever!!!! I placed an order for (2) bottles of whiskey and one of the two was incorrect. I called and instead of offering to rectify the situation by having the incorrect bottle picked up and sending me what I paid for the manager said she was just going to send a label and I would have to go drop it off to be sent back to them. This is during a pandemic. I asked her to have the service pick it up and send out what I paid for that is was unreasonable to ask me to leave my house during COVID-19 and it was their mistake. She said and I quote, " Well Ma'am if you were so worried about getting the wrong item then you shouldn't have ordered spirits." This lady basically told me I shouldn't have ordered anything in the first place." NO APOLOGY AT ALL. I couldn't believe it. I try to use small businesses to get things to support our community but no more from this place. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I wish I would have checked other reviews on Yelp before I placed my order. Received an email with the status of product shipped, hence they took my money from PayPal. A week later in checking the tracking, it shows is only being ready to ship. Apparently this happens quite frequently according to other reviews. They take your money and sometimes don't even have the product. Abysmal customer service. still no response and no product, Stay away from Old Town tequila

I had been looking for Manana Tequila since our honeymoon trip to Mexico 3 years ago and finally found it here.
Placed my order on 12/30/19 and was told shipping would be 4-5 business days. After a couple days I checked the provided tracking number and seen it hadn’t even shipped out so I called. The lady informed me that only priority mail was being shipped at this time due to Christmas holidays 5 days after Christmas was over. When my package arrived 10 days after ordering I was excited to open it up and take a sip that was 3 years in the making. Upon opening it up I could smell tequila really strong and knew something was wrong right off the bat. Picked up the bottle and noticed a lot had leaked out during transit and when I opened it up there was nasty rubbery brown stuff around the lid that felt like silicon. When I opened my bottle down in Mexico there was nothing like this around the lid. So I contacted Old Town Tequila and told them it had leaked out and that there was nasty brown stuff around the lid. The person told me via email that Old Town Tequila wasn’t responsible for leaks and they wasn’t considered as “damaged product”. That wasn’t the best part though. After telling me they wasn’t responsible the person told me to go ahead and drink my tequila in full knowledge that it had leaked out and had nasty brown stuff around the lid after I had sent them pictures of it. I asked for a prepaid postage stamp to send it back and requested another bottle and still haven’t received a reply. If anyone knows anything about alcohol or any other product you don’t tell your customer that the product it okay and to go ahead and drink it when it’s clearly leaking.
I know I shouldn’t have but I did take a small sip of the tequila after cleaning the nasty brown stuff off the bottle just to see what the taste was like and it was disgusting, in Mexico this was not the case.
Old Town Tequila showed me they only care about getting your money and could care less about your happiness or ever visiting their store again.
Iv had my own company for over 20 years now and I could never imagine treating a customer like this especially when they had pictures to back up their claims.
Stay away from this place unless you wanna take a chance of being done the same way.
