I've used these guys for a CP Top-up course and the Level 3 ECFR course this year. Robs real world experience combined with his relaxed teaching style during the ECFR course made for a very enjoyable and informative week. On the CP Top up course, Pauls approachable nature, obvious passion for subject and his depth of knowledge meant that there were plenty of opportunities to learn. The atmosphere of both courses was friendly whilst maintaining professionalism, just how I like it. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

The training which you get from Olive for all the courses will be as close to real life situations as you could get all tutors Paul, Steve and Rob will go out of their way to help you. They make the training equal to everybody. It's mentally challenging but they will guide and help you all the way through staying up till early hours for guidance. I'd advise anyone to do their training here as this was although one of the hardest things I've ever done but the most rewarding and enjoyable. Paul, Steve and Rob absolute legends.

The course was very interesting and taught in a professional way. There was a good mix of theory and hands-on practice, with proper equipment and realistic scenarios. The instructor was attentive, shared useful tips, and gave us great material and exercises. Everything was well organized.

I attended a recent Highfield Level 2 Close Protection Top Up Course with Paul F ending on 23/04/2025.

I was extremely impressed with the teacher Paul F and how good the course was and how well it is structured.

Paul has an extensive real world experience and is very thorough in his training style.

The content was interesting a well put together with Paul's spin on it to make it highly relevant.

Plenty of practical scenarios and relevant videos, this was not a death by PowerPoint course!

He was patient and made sure everybody on the course was 100% proficient in the skills and techniques being taught.

To get to the venue was roughly a 2 hour train ride from London and accommodation is available on site.

I would recommend this course to any of my friends or colleagues without hesitation.

My course with Olive group was a fantastic experience. The tunnel is a fantastic place to learn and they also make you feel at home there. You learn from professionals with a lot of front line experience and they also made the practical assessments as realistic as possible. we were well looked after and on the whole I would highly recommend. I now have a trustworthy company that I can recommend to others and also I am going back there to gain further knowledge and gain more qualifications.

Paul, who ran the course from start to finish was available 24/7 for any concerns that you may have throughout the duration of the course. Paul's teaching process was very professional and relaxed throughout the duration. The course is extremely informative and gives you everything you need to insure you get the most out of the experience and prepare you for the live scenarios. Paul manages to fill the role of a teacher and mentor and will always go the extra mile to assist you even if it be a 2am finish or a 4am start.

With no previous experience in either security industry or military, it was difficult to try and find the right provider to use for my CPO training. I went with Olive Group after reading through the reviews on here and I'm extremely thankful I did!

Paul is an extremely experienced, qualified and credible instructor and I was impressed through the whole course seeing the level of thought and planning went into every single one of the lessons. Paul took his role as the main instructor very seriously and approached his job in a very professional manner while also making the learning experience fun also. The theory and practicals were spot on. Some days were long and arduous, but was worth it in the end.

It was a pleasure to do the training with olive group. Paul and Robert were perfect instructors and learned me everything very well I had a little language barrier because I’m not from the UK, but Paul helped me also in the end of the classes when I had questions thanks a lot Steve, Paul and Robert and I promise we see us again.

Second course completed with Olive group training. Again instruction was excellent and was delivered in an easy to understand manor. Would recommend.

I am ex military and have been operating in private security for many years, both as an operator and a company director. My SIA Close Protection Licence was about to expire, so I had to do an SIA Licence 'Top Up Course' which comprised of 3 days CP refresher training and a 5 day Medical Course. There are many security training providers, however it was important to me to book a training course with a credible company that not only provides training, it provides close protection services both nationally and internationally, because that ensures that the instructors are experienced and the training is realistic. Although i have not worked for Olive Group, I have been involved in security operations in the same areas of the world as Olive Group which had a very good reputation. That made Olive Group the obvious choice as a security training provider. The medical and and CP instructors were both experienced operators which made training realistic and enjoyable. It proves once again, it does not matter how experienced you are, if you have an open mind and good instructors who deliver a realistic of both theory and scenario based training, you will always learn something which will prove to be invaluable when you are operating for real. Great course, great instructors, at a very reasonable price.

As the President of OG H, it is important for me to practice what i preach, remain qualified and up to date. Attending this course along with others we conduct allows myself to see how the courses come across from a students perspective. As a student i thoroughly enjoyed the course and definitely came away more knowledgeable in the subject and competent!
As the president of the Company i Came away knowing that our instructors both internally and externally go that extra mile to ensure that the subjects taught, are drilled into each and every Student (no matter their Level of previous knowledge and experience) through additional tuition, guidance and help including "out of Hours" if/when required, to give all students the best possible chance to pass and to excel.
