Optus cause deaths…
'The Big Cheese' alleges Optus committed unconscionable conduct by summarily terminating two active, prepaid mobile services without notice and failing to return 20 of 23 promised support calls. Optus claims the disconnection followed "serious and repeated unacceptable conduct" rather than financial issues, rejecting requests for refunds and stating they will no longer correspond directly outside the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) process.
For a resolution, the complaint seeks immediate release of the mobile numbers for porting to another carrier, a full refund of prepaid credits, and compensation for the three-week loss of service.
