Such an amazing service…
My son has just completed 8 weeks with a lovely therapist called Maxine. She made him feel comfortable and safe from their very first conversation. She took time to get to know him and has helped him overcome lots of things that were impacting him. She’s been amazing and was always cheerful and encouraging. Thank you so much for your help and support Maxine, we will miss talking to you.

Not the psychiatrists fault but I have had a very bad experience that has been very detrimental to my mental health. As someone with a Neurodivergence being sent documents pages long with policies is really unhelpful. You have to be so careful with making appointments and double check that your Policy is still in place for all appointments, my policy had ceased 2 days before my last appointment and I was totally unaware - it had been approved weeks before so I was oblivious - apparently I should have read the policy carefully - something that's really very difficult for me to do, I can't even open most policies ! Too much information in one go. I got a really hefty bill from onebright double what I would have been charged if I had seen my psychiatrist direct and self funded. If you are neurodivergent or even have mental health issues that inhibit you concentrating on pages of policies be really really careful that every appointment you make is covered by yr health insurance and also don't miss a appointment whatever you do as you get charged £400 no matter what. I'd recommend people with ADHD using a company that might be a bit more hand holding with these matters.
Edit: 08/03 - Onebright responded to this review asking for me to contact them with further details, I did that some time ago and received zero response.

Great Experience
I've just finished 10 CBT sessions with Harpreet Bains and working with her on my worrying/anxiety has been fantastic. Harpreet has given me tools and techniques to use that help me to manage and minimise negative thought patterns and physical side effects of worrying. The sessions were collaborative and Harpreet allowed me to focus and spend more time on specific areas that were more of a concern for me. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Harpreet again if I ever felt like I needed some extra help. Thank you!
Highly talented
My Therapist John Homer was absolutely amazing right from the start. He was clear, direct and extremely knowledgable. I felt on the first call that he was wading into my world with the clear intent to rescue and help fix me and I had complete (well placed) confidence that he could and would. After a horribly traumatic family event I was unravelling, having panic attacks and unable to sleep. John skilfully navigated all of that together with subsequent issues that kept cropping up enabling me to, primarily, prevent negative impact on my career and ultimately leaving me with a framework of skills and knowledge to apply going forward. It is not going too far I don’t think to say that John prevented me reaching total break down. I cannot thank John enough for his compassionate and generous spirit and obvious talent.
OCD/Anxiety/Depression
This establishment really helped with my mental health, in particular my long-term battle with OCD and anxiety which resulted in depression.
The therapist, Christine McLaughlin was very polite, a good listener and advised myself on the correct strategy towards overcoming my OCD & anxiety.
Christine was patient and gave me the adequate support that I required from the one to one sessions I received from the last few months.
I can confidently say that the state of my mental health has improved thanks to Christine.
I would recommend her as a therapist to others suffering from OCD/anxiety.

My 9 year old has taken part in CBT sessions to support his anxiety.
The sessions were age-appropriate, engaging, and delivered by Jan Carlton who was fun, enthusiastic, and helped create a positive and supportive environment.
Developing a better understanding of anxiety triggers and the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. They have been introduced to coping strategies such as breathing exercises and positive self-talk, which they are beginning to use with adult support.
Jan has been amazing and our son’s confidence has really grown over the past 10weeks - thank you Jan 😊

Excellent Service
Excellent Service. My therapist Lindsay was truly awesome. I was in physical and mental pain from bereavement and wasn't convinced 'talking' would do me any good after all, how can talking help my physical pain? I wasn't convinced and I didn't want to talk. Lindsay however gradually drew me out of myself with warmth, understanding and support. I can't speak highly enough how her approach helped. Thank you so much Onebright! Forever grateful Lindsay!

Babalwa has been a great help to my teenage daughter. The sessions were well structured and my daughter learnt a lot of practical strategies and was expected to experiment and try out her goals. My daughter appreciated the honest, straight forward feedback and felt safe to open up and share difficult thoughts and feelings. Highly recommend.
CBT sessions
It has been great working with my therapist Diana for the past few months and her help with CBT has been important in helping me feel better. The techniques that I have been taught have been integral in helping me manage my anxiety and depression and understanding myself much better. Diana’s calm, supportive and positive approach has been so important in helping me feel relaxed and comfortable enough to open up. She has been excellent.
Assessment felt pre-decided rather than collaborative
The assessment felt pre-decided rather than collaborative. CBT was recommended despite me explaining it hasn’t helped before, and alternatives weren’t discussed. I was told I’d be called back to discuss my decision, but the follow-up call was instead to book an appointment, and promised email follow-up didn’t happen.
Update: The response from Onebright did not address the specific concerns raised, instead reiterating general guidance around CBT without acknowledging the lack of collaborative discussion, the absence of alternative options, or the missed follow-up communication.

Great experience of CBT
I had a course of CBT and ERP with Ian Salmon for OCD. It felt like he understood me from the beginning. I felt I could be honest and listened to without judgement. The course of therapy felt well structured and I feel so much better for it. He's given me my life back and I couldn't be more grateful.
