I contacted One Move and spoke to Deshal & Jessal, It was a big and beautiful house, I'm happy to have rented with them. Always attentive and communicative, I recommend them 100% since they are completely responsible and honest.

Landlord is helpful and attentive when any issue (rarely) arises. Issues get sorted quickly! Cozy apartment that is close to market and transport links be it bus or tube.

Onemove were fantastic with the vetting process, making things as swift as possible and allowing me to move in within a few days of seeing the advert. The agents were also brilliant at responding to any messages/enquiries, often within a few hours maximum, allowing any issues to be resolved asap.

I lived in one of their houses for a year. It was brilliantly managed by friendly, approachable landlords, who quickly acted to address any questions or concerns we had throughout the year. Would very much recommend.

J and Desh are brilliant landlords - rented off them for two years and had no problems, always there for fix any issues ASAP and the properties at OneMove are always lovely.

Horrible experience. Agent Deshal showed me the property, took my holding deposit. 5 days after ad was still active, he was still showing it to interested people. Confronted him about that, of course he denied it. Then called me regarding my references, was extremelly rude and insulting on the phone. The moment I put the phone down, I knew I do not want to enter into 1 year tenancy agreement with this person. Asked him for holding deposit back, he refused to send me my money back. Stole £189 from me. So desperate for money, so ready to rip people off. Tricked and manipulated me into pulling out of the deal so he could keep my holding deposit. Be aware, unprofessional small unknown little agency with dodgy e-mail address. Do not send them your money, you will not get it back. Go with established well known agencies.

We had a very bad experience with this agency in the past two years, the first year at the end of tenancy agreement we wanted to extend the contract for another year, at first they said yes and we found an agreement for the price, but nothing was write and less than one month before the expire of the contract they said that the price went up and proposed to us a property that we were “obligated” to take for this situation. There it was a nightmare since the first day, the flat was dirty the toilet and the oven completely broken, they said they didn’t check the flat before our tenancy start, the flat was full of mould and we tried everything for remove it ( windows open in winter, dehumidifiers) but nothing worked,my partner was pregnant and we didn’t received any help, just one time they paint on top of the mould but this of course doesn’t solve the problem. At the end of tenancy, after lots of messages and calls (most without any reply) they said that they had to take money from the deposit for cleanings, but we left the flat in exactly same conditions as we found it, and after what we've been through I don’t think is fair to also took money from the deposit. We were kind and respectful, always tried to repair broken staff by ourselves when was possible, but live in that conditions is dangerous for mental and physical healt and they didn’t care at all.

Our group of flatsharers had a poor experience negotiating a tenancy with Deshal and Jessal.

They initially presented themselves as the landlord of the flat on OpenRent, which is meant to exclude estate agents. During the viewing Jessal (substituting for his brother, who was overseas at a wedding) led us to believe, during a conversation with the current tenant which he observed, that we would be dealing with the landlord directly after a contract was signed, which also was false.

We viewed the flat and made an offer above the asking price, which they aggressively tried to get us to further increase, against other groups who also made offers.

They accepted our initial offer in writing, and with their approval we placed a holding deposit on OpenRent as a third party. However, they did not initially "accept" the holding deposit, which should have been a red flag.

In the meantime, we had a number of questions about their referencing procedure, data protections, and options for ongoing communication with tenants and landlord relations, since these were not clearly explained during the viewing or with documentation. Deshal answered our questions in a call, during which he aggressively asked us to confirm whether we were happy to rent on his terms of engagement as soon as possible. We replied in the positive within half an hour of the call, thinking we could accept a coolly transactional relationship with these mercenary agents in exchange for a nice flat.

...and then they ghosted us for nearly 48 hours, leaving our holding deposit unaccepted, and all our messages "on read" despite previously speedy replies, until (after several polite requests for an update) they finally told us they were going back on our prior verbal agreement and offering the flat to another group.

They misled us, communicated poorly and disrespectfully, aggressively attempted to squeeze higher rents from us, and ultimately, wasted our time and energy during a very stressful month planning a move.

Rental's location was amazing and prices were incredible as well. Moreover Jay is very thoughtful and helpful when needed. Absolutely recommended.

Landlords were very prompt and helpful when dealing with issues.

The landlord was always pleasant and helped with any requests quickly. For the location and room the price was good. Would rent with them again!
