My pup has made amazing progress with the one on one lessons. Each lesson is videoed so i am able to re watch sessions. Pup enjoys the sessions. Would highly recommend.

I honestly could not recommend Rob enough. I have a German shepherd (5y/o) and a Belgian Malinois (1y/o) and was nearing the point I thought I’d have to rehome one of them because they were fighting and becoming too much to manage. After just a few weeks I’ve seen MASSIVE changes in both of them! I’m now able to confidently walk them both together, they’re a lot calmer at home and no more fights. Rob trains them with so much patience and kindness, both my girls absolutely love him!

The way my Akita reacts to Rob from one2one dog training is amazing, Bear absolutely loves Rob. Rob has made a massive difference to my Akitas attitude towards my elderly farther, he use to try bullying my dad and bit him twice. Thanks to Rob he is now able to walk him and fuss him with no problems. I highly recommend one2one dog training.

Before starting the assessment
You told about training methods and received training videos off other clients dogs in training and using French training collars i told you I am not food based trainer
Just praise and ball reward

I explained about payments are weekly pay per session
and not monthly
and rates are £125 per session also payment terms are cash or bank transfer
As small business would do
You WhatsApp me saying cash was waiting

Next session was booked for 29 September when you next have funs available

Before even coming to your home you know what the rates
Were for your area
You did mention that were on stare benefits so I understand
Money snuggles as mentioned in your review not going to continue as you not afford the rates
You going to used a security guard for Training at £80 and YouTube
For free training

Friday 4 September we travel to Victoria Park from your home in Preston 10 minutes away from your home

No there no water
as we buy bottles off water and running late to your appointment
So did have chance to pick more

As seats in back off van there
Are fitted with seatbelts
Your dog was not push in a cage
There no bedding in cages as dog can chew and choke on bedding for that reason

Your dog did not get a injured
On the training session as each Session is videod and upload to our social media page during the session and share with you

Next day you WhatsApp to say
Your dog at home had pull a muscle which did not happen in training session

I would highly not recommend this guy as my dog was pushed into the cage in the back of the van he had no Bedding then there’s no seatbelts in the back of the van for clients safety also my dog didn’t get offered any water plus he was to rough on the thin grot collar plus also my dog sustained a leg injury during the session and I paid £125 cash to him

I had a consultation with Rob back in May, and i have since deleted the 5 star review he forced me to write before he would leave my house.

The consultation experience was unsettling and bizarre. My puppy absolutely hated him, she was growling and barking at him the second he arrived, having never reacted like that to a person since I had her (and hasn't since).

He spent most the consultation process talking about himself, his mental health problems, and bragging about the money his wealthy clients had and the various cars/helicopters/properties they had.

After about 30 minutes of this I reminded him I contacted him for puppy training (my pup was 4 months old at this point and had no particular issues, I just wanted help with basic training). So we went outside to the street where I thought he would assess her and take some interest in her. Nope.

He went to his van and got a huge male rottie out- his own dog I was told. The dog was very disobedient and jumping up all over him, so not a great advertisement. He then marched the dog up and down the street hollering commands. This was 9pm at night- neighbours came out to see what the commotion was.

He then put the dog in the middle of the road and made him sit, then walked away- a car was coming down the road and he said the dog would stay until Rob told him to move. The car got dangerously close and Rob went to retrieve the dog- as if I would be impressed by him putting this animal intentionally in danger.

He barely looked at my pup, didn't ask about issues I was having or what I was hoping to achieve. We went back into my flat and he asked me to leave a review- I said i'd do it later. That wasn't an option- he forced me to write two 5 star reviews- one for this company and one for another. Then charged me £130 for the experience.

He was very adamant my puppy needed to be taken away from me for training- that was another red flag. After he left I looked at his Trustpilot reviews (I never would have done this if he hadn't made such a big deal out of me leaving him a review.) Seeing other peoples experiences and other clearly forced 5 star reviews after the initial meeting, I told him I wouldn't be using him for training.

The one to one dog training school website has since been abandoned- i imagine he has set up under a different name again after leaving a trail of bad experiences and abuse in his wake, as the other reviews suggest. Please please avoid this person, he is a conman and not someone I would trust with my dog.

Teaching me. And my staffie for obedience and service dog training program Rob is kind and trustworthy and passionate about teaching on 1 to 1 for my dog

Each lesson has be 1 to 1 and over 1 hour each. Price is very affordable

You are twisting the truth. I did NOT "punch the dog in the face" out of nowhere or to be cruel. The dog bit my hand while it was in your hands — my reaction was an instinctive, desperate attempt to get it to let go of me. That is self-defence, not aggression.

You know very well the dog was under your control when this started. You had no first aid kit and offered me a dirty cloth — completely unprofessional.

Yes, you turned up at hospital later, but that doesn’t change that your dog bit me on your watch, and you weren’t prepared or able to handle it safely. Writing your own reviews on my phone during our session also shows how skewed your priorities are.

I spent thousands with you and was happy until this dangerous incident. Don’t try to paint my self-preservation reaction as the cause — the problem started when your dog bit me while you were handling it. Stop blaming the victim for being hurt.

Was amazing with it all!
He helped me with bell my staff who was my support dog and he is now supporting to train her up again

He also helped train my other puppy atlas with jumping up and walking beside

Rob came out and helped with it I’m very pleased with his service

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Monty Robins the horse whisperer died yesterday. HE WAS RESPECTED BY MANY AND DID ALOT OF GOOD
Yesterday it took just one person to speak ill of Monty and then it starts...within a very short time the world was very divided
All the good he had done was sadly attacked and belittled by his galloping attackers driven along by the usual dose of mass hysteria.
I doubt some even knew who he was but they saw something on the social media so it must be true and in any case, they get their kicks that way.
Not satisfied with one name they make up many Aliases in a desperate attempt to add to their vile cause.
Far too many are no more than bored cowards who get their kicks that way, some are just people who screamed for help then didn't want to pay so they thought they would make mischief for an innocent man then ride off into the sunset with their ill gotten gains
Let him who is without sin cast the first stone... many will drop to the floor the odd die hard will attempt another attack but they are the real fools, they are the nasty cowards who will pay the price in the end.
The haters who take it on themselves to write nasty words about a man who did so much good but sadly, like Jesus, so many took so much and never even stayed long enough to say thankyou.
Perhaps there is a lesson there, people get weird when it comes to animals, they turn into something they don't even recognize, they back stab they cheat and they lie.

Rest in Peace Monty, you tried your best but will never make good of the arrogant angry misguided human with nothing but anger and bitterness in their heart so don't try, just carry on doing what you do best the problem is not yours.

If I could pick minus i would wasted thousands with this joke of a trainer stay well away unless you got plenty money to throw away or get bit by his uncontrolled dogs!!

6 weeks into training doing 1 to 1, today we came to a live venue rob brought other dogs along with him and there was a massive improvement, dog reactions cured now moving on to emotional support dog training then in 3 months time we'll be doing an official public access test in 3 months. Thanks alot Rob

Great time with one to one helping out with Merlin massive improvements.

It has been really good at helping my dog in behaviour and going out as a service dog, not only has this training helped with her recall, it has also helped her build confidence in and out of the house. Rob has been amazing and sends videos of each session. He not only trains the dog but also the people on a one to one basis. Happy with this service would definitely recommend.

Myself and my dog recently had a highly distressing experience with Rob Metcalfe.
I contacted Mr. Metcalfe for a puppy training session which I had to cut short after he kicked my 4 month old border collie in the ribs.
Anyone looking to hire a trainer from this appalling company should be aware of the blatant cruelty towards dogs displayed by the man in charge.
A highly traumatic experience for my young dog. Will certainly not be using this service again.

Had a very reactive dog after leaving a domestically violent relationship

I’ve seen rob several times & today he brought another trainer jamie

Rob had agreed to take Luna out by herself to build a relationship

James gave me commands to teach Luna and a plan to train in the house on the lead and in the garden to teach obedience before taking Luna out

Rob buy all the training equipment and brings it with him for Luna

So far I’m very happy with lunas plan and she was a lot more relaxed today by the end of her session

I’m very happy with the service so far and looking forward to working with Rob and James to get Luna where she needs to be
