Was gonna purchase a hammock but after reading the negative reviews and them all being the same, making the return and getting a refund back almost impossible. Doesn't seem like money back guarantee no hassle to me. Sounds shady business practices. No thank you will look somewhere else.

Abosluteley discraceful service.

EDIT: The payment for both failed purchases have now been withdrawn from my bank account, no refund as promised.. this is straight up scam..

Tried placing an order TWICE, and got cancelled both times. I contacted customer service which told me my order was a "High risk" order and therefore cancelled it? They then asked me to send them a picture of me holding up my credit card next to my face to ensure i was a real person... what in the world is this kind of demand??? Absolutely worst and most fishy company i've come across.... STAY AWAY!

I have been trying to contact Onewind Outdoors about my recent order, in which a product was missing. I have sent several emails, made two calls, left one voicemail, and posted a Facebook comment, which, unsurprisingly, was deleted. All attempts to contact Onewind for a resolution have gone ignored. Incredibly disappointed given the amount of positive reviews for this company. I am normally a reasonable customer, and any communication - even with bad news - would be better than no communication whatsoever.

4/27/26 Update to my initial Onewind Outdoors review:

After numerous attempts to reach the company, I finally received a response via the chat function on their website. In fact, my husband received a response about my order before I did. The representative who responded to me let me know they were unable to respond due to weekend limitations; however, my initial communication efforts started on a Wednesday. The representative arranged for the missing underquilt to be reshipped, and tracking details would be shared as soon as it shipped. They offered a 20% discount on my next order as an apology and politely asked me to update my reviews.

Unsurprisingly, I never received a shipping update, but my husband did. Regarding the quality of the underquilt/quilt product, he liked it, but will need to adjust the middle to make it longer. I am adjusting my one-star review to two stars based on his review of the products' quality.

As I stated in my reply email to Onewind, I completely understand that operating a business must be challenging right now, given *waves hands around* everything going on economically and otherwise, staffing must be difficult, etc. But a brief acknowledgment of my initial email sent on Wednesday, April 8, would have been more than sufficient. When a promise of a 24-hour response is promoted on their website, a 100-business-hour response is unacceptable.

Items arrived damaged, which looked like the package had been slashed with a knife. Considering the cut was on the inside fold of the package it would indicate that this was done before it left Onewind. Customer service are a nightmare to deal with, and when they finally agreed to send replacements for the parts that were damaged, they sent different items claiming that they could not supply the items separately. Basically, I did nit get what I paid for or ordered. On contacting them, I was told I have to pay for the return of the items damaged by them. So be aware that, although this company makes good stuff, when things go wrong, they are unwilling to recognise their responsibilities. Customer service is full of false promises, and you will just lose money.

I've finally been able to put my hamac system to the test. Catch under thunder, hail and rain the tarp worked like a charm, kept me and my stuff totally dry, while the underquilt kept the place warm.

I love my Onewind products. I first bought the Billow Ultralight Hammock Tarp Shelter to use with another brand hammock. I loved the tarp so much, I bought the Northers 11' Zipper Double-Layer Camping Hammock and lots of accessories. I have used the tarp many times year round and love the protection it provides. I have used the hammock once for winter camping. It makes hanging life so comfortable. Awesome quality. Awesome comfort.

The hammock is amazing, it is really well made using quality components. The structural ridge line is a proper amsteel whoopie sling and the buckles are stainless and finished well. There has been a lot of thought put in to the design of this hammock and has obviously had input from someone who actually hammock camps - Highly Recommended.

Innovative designs, great customer service. The hammock is top notch material with dyneema attachment points. Cinch buckles and storage bag were included. I have many products from them, the gear storage a strap set,bottom quilt, top blanket, all have performing well with no complaints... great value. Bought in canada through amazon and have been hanging with great comfort ever since

Great mossie net that combines well with the shelter. Lightweight and very easy to set up.

Love the onewind hammock tarp setup. The tarp cover is easy to set up and give great coverage.

Penumbra hammock hot tent came on time and is as advertised! The reinforcement at the seams is great, it really easy to set up and use. I use a hammock with a strong built in ridgeline so its really easy to hang the hammock and just throw the tent over top and secure it to prusik knots on the ridgeline to pull it taught. The very first time I used it a few teeth fell out of the zipper near the top on both sides. Luckily it's in a spot where I can get by without zipping it that far, I might just order new stronger zippers and have them replaced. I really like the zipper design though. It would be awesome if the ten was a foot or two taller to facilitate headspace while also allowing the ten to be staked all the way to the ground. Maybe they could offer a bigger model for a bit more $.

I don't normally write reviews but, I purchased the hammock, the 12' rain fly (tarp) and the under quilt and I honestly love it. Well worth the money spent. It's top notch just like in the videos I've watched. I'm 59 and easily hiked 5.2 miles with all items. Very little weight, easy to set up and man I slept in comfort. No more ground dwelling for me. Thanks onwwind!

I bought the tarp with the bugnet to make a complete shelter with my hammock. It gives me a big enough space to change, chill, cook and of course sleep, all sheltered from mosquitoes and rain.
I used this setup for a 30-day bike road trip in Quebec, where I endured several heavy thunderstorms with wind and stayed dry. You can close the tarp around the hammock for maximum protection. It's like having a tent that doesn't touch the ground! The material is of good quality and the assembly system is really cool. The tarp's main fasteners could be improved to make it even easier to adjust the tension.
I really recommend it.

Great gear from a great company, at a great price. Can't fault their customer service and delivery. My gear always arrives within about a week.

I purchased several items for my outdoor hammock camping, like a bug net and an underquilt protector. The OnewindOutdoor company has a lot of good stuff for little money. I will definitively buy some more from their shop!

Used the onewind camping shelter and pleasantly surprised at the quality. How small it packs and how big it is. It was windy and raining on my camp but I put the shelter up with the back to it all and I stayed dry and warm. Really good bit of kit. Great to couple with a bivvy bag and a good addition to a lightweight set up. Very impressed
