From my first consultation I felt so at ease going into optilase. Dan was so kind and made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. The day of my surgery went so smoothly and quick, I was shocked at how fast the surgery actually was. All of my follow up appointments went great and my eye sight is fantastic since. I would highly recommend optilase to anyone thinking of getting laser eye surgery.

Can’t believe I have 20/20 vision! Waking up everyday & not having to worry about putting contact lenses in has just changed my life!
I went on holiday and didn’t have to worry about having 2 pairs of glasses or making sure my eyes didn’t get wet in the water when I had contacts in. I can now get up in the morning and do a gym workout without struggling through exercises while wearing glasses, it’s such a game changer for everyday life!!
The staff in Carrickmines were all amazing, so helpful and informative and put me at ease from start to the finish! Would 1000000% recommend it to anyone considering lasik!

I was looked after from start to finish with every step clearly explained and what would happen next. First class service

I had lens replacement in July 2025 and I have been to my regular checkups and each time I have said that I am constantly having to wear my reading glasses. I keep getting told that it will probably get better or we gave you good distance vision. I service boilers for a living. I'm either at a boiler or driving to the next job and have my glasses on my head every single day. An example is that I can't see my satnav and if I use my glasses then I can't see the bloody road. Personally it has been an expensive total waste of money and I keep getting rubbish excuses rather than solutions.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Although I was not considered a good candidate for the service, I trust that they had my health and optimal priority, rather than producing profit from their services. I plan to be back in the near future and would recommend their services.

Optilase consultation was cancelled, I didn't have a chance to go back to do another assessment after that time.

From the day one of my appointment, every thing was very well organized and informative 👌 👍. I did my LASIK surgery this year and everything was really great 👍...
My initial appointment was in William Street clinic and the LASIK was done at Carrickmines clinic. My vision became sharp in the very next day itself. There was only a bit redness for one day and it was gone in the next day as well...no further irritation or complications occurred for me....
The staff and the doctors were really nice and helpful...
All the appointments and after care were well organized and planned based on my convenience....

The time with the surgeon was very rushed before and after the surgery and for all consultations. My long vision is fixed but now I need glasses for short distance in any indoor setting. I can only see short vision, as in my phone orxa book under extremely bright light, I have to use my phone torch every day to read.

Great experience from start to finish, pleasant staff, professional service, clear explanations, advanced technology and above all life changing surgical outcome.

The Lasik procedure was very quick and simple. I was guided through the entire process and had a number of follow ups and checks to ensure I was fine. My recovery was very quick and within few days I had 20/20 vision. The whole process was very simple, the staff were super professional. Highly recommended it !
