Fed Ex delivery is pathetic .. not Orangewoods fault, but knowing the reviews of fed ex tracking etc .. Orangewood should choose a different shipper. I had an Orangewood guitar shipped and the box was destroyed! The guitar is damaged in its soft case, no response from Orangewood..yet

Addendum: I increased this to three stars because they did refund my money after I sent the guitar back, but I did not have a guitar ready for my son by Christmas because of the buzzing guitar they sent. I wouldn't depend on them if you're in a hurry to get a guitar and I think I learned my lesson that I'd rather buy one at Guitar Center where I can feel and hear the guitar.

Original: Ordered the Rey guitar for my son who is just starting to play so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on the guitar in case he doesn't stick with it. I saw a YouTube video that said this was a decent company and the cheapest guitar wasn't a bad guitar and quite playable. Well I'm beginning to think that was a paid review because I ordered the Rey, it looks nice and it came with a decent gig bag but the third string was so severely it is impossible to play and I am a guitar player so I know. I try to just to get a little bit with the truss rod this way and that and frankly I don't think I should go have to buy new strings. It should be playable out of the box because they promised that they especially set up every guitar they send out. There is no way they set this guitar up. I'm very disappointed and I'm sorry even if it is a low price guitar it should be playable. I could get one at the pawn shop that played better than this for a lot less money. I emailed them as they have no phone number and they have not gotten back to me so I'm not so keen on their customer service either and I will definitely change this review if they service me and do not make me pay either return shipping or send me a replacement or pay for for a luthier fee and make this guitar playable.

I have two Organgewood guitars and one bass guitar. I can tell you how happy I am with these instruments. Great customer support. The value is unbelievable. By cutting out the middleman you get a guitar that would cost 2 - 3 times from any guitar shop. I have bought guitars in the past that had to be professionally set up after purchase adding at least $100 to the price. Orangewood sets them up before delivery saving you even more. Try one, you will not be sorry.
