Cement rats into people's buildings

We have a rat problem in our block of flats. Instead of tackling rat problems newydd housing association pay orbis to cement them into our building.
If I could give you no stars I would.

I would not recommend this place of work

This company needs to recruit management with management skills and expertise. Very poor attitude towards employees. Bullying culture exists. Avoid at all costs. Huge turnover of staff. Pay is inconsistent and they don’t care. This refers back to the point of poor management. Incompetence on another level. Continuous abuse and threatening language from council tenants. Mentally draining job. Avoid!

Smashed a window when placing security…

Smashed a window when placing security shutters on my property. There was an agreement to discuss the repair and replacement. I was ghosted and to this day have yet to receive a response to my voicemails or emails. Disgraceful.

Useless, dishonest & no wondr councils use them

Absolutely a joke and liars! My council had them booked in for today the 20th August, to remove loft insulation and deep clean the attic they come round 2 days early and knocked in door and said they needed to go get some bags and will be back and never come back or even let me know! So phoned council and they phoned these and they had apparently got the wrong address and i was booked in for today still, today comes and 2 lads acting like kids seen my dogs and asked if i put them away which i shut outside with my 2 friends who was helping me take my carpet up, they had a quick look and said they needed to go and get more bags as they only had 4, 2 hrs later no one came back so i phoned them the woman on the phone had a right snobby attitude and wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor or manager and said the lads said my dogs was around their ladder so they wouldn't come back, my dogs was outside with my friends and a backdoor and a kitchen door in-between them, my digs are softies anyways but for a so-called security company to blatantly lie not good, but to lie when we have proof and the company sticks up for them you definitely want to avoid!

This company is still stating the two lads they sent round are telling the truth, my thing with Northwest luic council is at court but when its done it is going to the media and this company will be quite shocked with the proof i have that they are liars, which again for a security company allowing their dishonest staff into peoples homes is not good.

This is my second review as I wrote the first one that was personal to me,but this is what i,ve seen with my next-door neighbour.J and Dan were the 2 men I saw doing my neighbour in my block loft insulation removal, and they seemed very efficient and were reassuring me they would clear the bags in the passage out of my way,but I was,nt bothered by them as I seen them clearing away other bags as they were busy with the job in-hand.Job well done guys and they were very pleasant to talk to,even missing out on lunch.💙👌🙏🏾🙌🏻

I was infested with bed bugs last year and was thinking of walking away from it all because I couldn’t sleep in my home
Thanks to orbits after one treatment they were all gone and I was so pleased because I’d tried everything and it didn’t work, Orbis eradication the little buggers and they haven’t returned and am so grateful to orbis for helping me!

Think twice before you use…

I wanted to get some security on my deceased Mums property. As advised by Orbis I set up an account and deposited 8wks up front and £80 install, a total of £556.80.
It became clear I didn't need the service and requested a refund on 25.10.24 and to close the account.
It's now 06.01.2025 and I still have not received my refund. When you try and contact customer services, no one answers and when you leave a message they may return your call a couple of days later.
I have sent weekly emails requesting my money be returned and they state they will request an urgent refund or its with our finance. But nothing ever comes of it. I send more emails Orbis claim to have made payment but can not provide any evidence to support their claim. I can not find any evidence they have refunded into my account - I, however can provide evidence.
The company pass you from pillar to post and fail to provide you with any reaaonable answers as to why it takes so long to return my money. This is causing great distress for something that should be such a simple task. Its is nothing short of theft and Orbis are untruthful - this is not a company that can be trusted to keep you, your property or anything else safe.
They carry a certificateI SO 9001: 2015
Cert. no. 1209-QMS-0017 key quality management principles—customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management. I dare say in my case Orbis Protect fail at least five (maybe more) of the key principles and should not hold such accreditation.
To improve in the future I genuinely believe you should try and stick to your key principles. Explain what the issues is - be honest. Keep me updated - customer focused and keep me informed. Explain your process, if it takes a long time tell me it does. If you have the evidence, then provide it, no need to hide factual information! Relationahip management, well trust is the key here. Be honest and be open - you'll be trusted. Leadership - someone just deal with the issue and resolve it.

Discussed with them don't tidy up leave…

What a terrible firm they are, don't tidy up leave windows and doors open banging all weekend, plus damaged my wall and car, a manager came out took photos said he was getting the lads in to see what happened never heard off them since really bad firm have had to take it up with thirteen who employed them to move the belonging out of my next doors house hopefully they will sort it

I haven’t dealt with this company…

I haven’t dealt with this company personally but I Recently witnessed something horrific which has left my grandkids traumatised. I was walking through Eltham high street when I saw a worker drop a window from the top floor onto this poor man’s head. The blood was too much and really upset my grandkids. How a company can look so professional yet come across so incompetent is beyond me. I hope that man’s ok!!

Damp and Mould Treatment

We had some improvements done to our property as it was suffering with damp and mould.

The guys were Kevin Jones and Luke Firth who are based in Wakefield.

They did an excellent job and it has made a huge difference to our property.

A very big thumbs up to them for their great workmanship.👍

DONT DO IT

DONT DO IT. THEY DAMAGED OUR DOOR 8 SCREWS RIGHT THROUGH OUR PVC DOOR. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, WE ARE STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK AFTER NEARLY 2 MONTHS

Orbis don't do their job

I work for a housing company that use orbis for removals in empty properties, my review is mainly regarding loft clearances as I insulate them after orbis has cleared. 9/10 times I go in a loft after orbis have supposedly cleared it it's still full of rat droppings and insulation and then we receive the backlash when we can't do it as it's still a hazard to us, they're lazy and terrible at their job, the latest one they've said there was a board they couldn't remove and clear underneath and upon inspecting in was roughly 20m² of board they'd not even bothered with, totally and utterly useless firm waste of time and mustn't supply their lads with any tools if they didn't have a screwdriver to take up some boards. Shocking.

Absolute rubbish

Called up because my door was jammed and had to keep getting in and out of the window. They had no people to come out that day, so my room had to be left unsecured. For the out of hours service they should have people available out of hours, they said it would be easier on Monday... So leaving my room unsecured for days?!

David t management at Dartford depot…

David t management at Dartford depot will bully you out of a job. All the office staff do not care about the ones in the field doing the dirty work. Send you hours away from home. Can’t pay wages correctly. They lock taking your wages claiming you’ve damaged property on jobs no proof provided. He will be nice to your face but soon as you leave depot will backstab you left and right and talk to you like absolute garbage via phone call and on WhatsApp. If you ask for guidance from Management and will ignore you. Likes to send you to jobs with asbestos showing won’t know until you get there. When you request asbestos reports ignores you and tell you to get on with Job or threatens you with the back office for disciplinary action. Myself and work colleague come in to contact with asbestos and when flagged to company did not even wanna know. Ignored every contact when we brought it up.

This company is inspecting my property

This company is inspecting my property, at request of my SIPP , I strongly objected to this, but my SIPP people hid behind the T&C's so I have no choice...... Orbits are by far the worst company I have dealt with , they lie to you & let their staff get away with damaging & fouling your property, their staff don't care & try & fob you off..... AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!
