Oryon Imaging - Amazing care from a Top Team.
I recently had a fall and sustained what was described by the NHS as an ankle sprain with no identified fracture identified on an XRay. I was glad that I took the opportunity for further MRI to pinpoint the extreme depth and range of my injury, which indicates that I will most likely need surgery to repair my ankle.
I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and supported to choose a time slot that was both convenient and affordable. I was also able to get the report as promised exactly 24hrs as advertised and supportive guidance from the clinician who reviewed my report, based on the extent of my injury. I am in a lot of pain at present, but with your quick and speedy support Oryon, I am able to access the relevant care and treatment for my needs and hopefully, to a path to recovery. The Oryon team were kind, responsive and truly caring from the start to the finish of my journey and overall, the service was efficient and effective in meeting my needs and being there for me. I attended Lister House on Wimpole Street and the clinic was clean and inviting and peacefully serene, with the most attentive and supportive staff from start to finish. Grateful for your care, could not ask for a better team, especially when you are in pain. Thank you once again.

You confirmed my appt yesterday.
Today I arrived at Lister House 10mins early to be told at the door -
Oryon could not see me today
The machinery was not available
I had to be seen at Dover St
Dover St had no appts today.
I had come from West Berkshire for this.
A kindly receptionist let me in.
I explained by anger. She went to see.
Magically the machinery WAS available and I had my MRI scan.
Had I not been persistent I would have had a wasted journey and wasted day.
So what tricks were going on?
No machinery then YES machinery.
Harley St prices for rubbish Client handling.
I find this disgraceful.
Someone should look into this !!!
A steroid injection in my ankle
Firstly, the accompanying nurse was professional and highly trained and a sweet person. Second, the radiologist inspired confidence as he asked about my injury and listened to my concerns. Most importantly, he was a skilled and deft hand when it came to injecting my ankle. A very good experience.
Fantastic imaging staff!
The imaging staff were absolutely amazing. They played Quraan to help keep me calm and keep the noise out during the MRI. They updated me every so often to let me know how much longer I have left in the scanner. Unfortunately the receptionist I found somewhat rude. I arrived 10 minutes before the allocated time and she asked me to go back outside because she had not opened yet! I am a private patient and paid just under £600 for a scan, surely it should be no problem to be seated indoors on the sofa, considering it was so cold outside, isn’t this normal courtesy even if I wasn’t a private patient?
Not recommended - very poor tech wrapround
Awful tech - had 3 attempts to become a client on their portal and that was impossible. Went today and took PC to try and do it in situ and their wifi was down. Still can't log onto their portal and walked away with a hard disk. So much wasted time. Not recommended.

The reception staff and radiographers were first class very efficient and worked to time or even better. Highly rated service.

The technician was very kind and helpful, I found him very caring as he kept on asking me if I was OK and reassuring me that it is soon over.
Avoid - extremely poor management!
I had an absolutely frustrating experience at this clinic. My appointment was over an hour late, and I wasn't informed about the delay until just 30 minutes before my scheduled time, delaying all my appointments and meetings for the day. They also refused to provide any refund. To top it off, my results weren't released within the promised 1 working day, dragging out an already bad situation. Avoid this place if you value your time and reliability.

The staff were thoughtful and kind and considering I suffer with claustrophobia the experience of the MRI Scan was as good as it could be. The machine at Dover street is bigger and quicker so I would advise people to use it.
