This is a scam a joke do not use them do not waste you money or time.

This is a scam. They contacted me and lied to me in the first email to get me to respond when asked who referred them and what products did the purchase from which location they then came clean and said they didn’t actually get referred or purchase the product. Then Chandler Frostad continued to tell me about being in these specific shops. Had he actually known anything about my business he would know I was already in these some of these specific locations. He would also known that one of companies he keeps telling me that I could supposedly be in will not allow any of the products I carry because it competes with the owner’s product directly. But he continued to tell me I could be in this specific store. They at this software gimmick have no clue what they are doing and are grasping at straws do not waste you time with this joke and this scam of a business. When asked repeatedly to speak to the supervisor I was refused numerous times.

Scammer

I received a cold email from someone named Dan B who told me he’d tried one of my products on the recommendation of a colleague. He then offered to help me get a space with our local farmer’s market, as well as placement in our local yoga studio. Big Red Flag: Not only have I been a vendor at our market for several years, I’m on the Board of Directors. Also, the local yoga studio doesn’t sell products. I googled the email and was warned it was a suspected site. I emailed back to tell them to go scam someone else. Received a response from a different email in which they tried to establish they were legit. I laid out the reasons I knew they weren’t. I also told them I was pretty sure they were a bot. No more emails. Total scam.

Completely Hopeless

They use their own "AI Generated CRM" to generate leads. It could NOT be worse if they tried. Completely off the mark, useless and hopeless scraping of LinkedIN to send outdated, off topic, poorly targeted emails. Complete joke.

At best, lazy; at worst, a scam

TL;DR: I would not trust this company with any of my hard-earned money.
---
Someone named "Sloan M" sent me a cold email which caught my attention because it seemed to indicate familiarity with my brand, products, and local markets. She asked if I'd have a short conversation about growing my business, which I was interested in.

That was where anything positive stopped.

RED FLAG #1:
After I replied to her email, in worrisome scammer-like fashion, "Sloan" responded from a different email address.

RED FLAG #2:
Because my brand is incredibly small, I asked her who had referred my brand to her. She responded with a specific name of another business owner, who I didn't personally know, but did seem to add some credibility. Upon a deeper look, I found that the person who "referred" me to Sloan was actually just someone else within Overjoy.ai. So I have to assume that it was NOT a *referral*, but simply a lead given to her with the instruction to try to sell.

Nonetheless, I offered to meet with her/them/Overjoy.ai, and sent a Google meeting for the specific time she had requested.

RED FLAG #3:
In direct response to my email containing a Google meeting, she said "Let me know if we can hop on a Google meet instead? I'll send you an invite right away." I pointed out that I had just sent a Google link. The very next day, she emailed to ask if the meeting time we agreed on still worked. At this point, I was highly suspicious that I was talking to an ai bot and not a real person.

So I said, "Can you say "potato" if you're not ai?..."
Her response confirmed-- for me-- that she was not real: "I think ai could also say potato but hopefully this email has been helpful! 😆"

RED FLAG #4:
After I agreed to HER cold request for a 30 minute meeting, AND after DOUBLE CONFIRMING the meeting time, time zone, and link, no one showed up to the meeting!

RED FLAG #5:
When they missed the meeting THEY REQUESTED, no one answered my email asking if they were going to show up during the meeting time; nor after the meeting to explain/apologize for their absence. I have not heard from Overjoy.ai since their abysmal cold outreach.
