Been buying from these guys since they started at Nantwich market and they are selling the best organic free range food ever. Been today and just tried their farm cured bacon wow. Absolutely delicious 😋 See you guys next weekend. Anyone looking for delicious food give these guys a visit you won't regret it 😋

I really didn’t want to leave a bad review but have unfortunately been left with little choice. After waiting patiently for over 2 weeks for my online order I was told that they would send me a refund but still honour my order due to delivery issues.
I did receive the refund but never received my order.
Called and messaged numerous times during the whole process. Given lots of excuses and false promises and then just ignored.
Terrible experience and obviously won’t bother ordering again.
Such a shame as I spent ages researching the best quality chicken that I could get locally but sadly they don’t seem to want to sell any !!

I have said in my review that you refunded me.

Of course you can put my messages on here or I am happy to. They are a bit boring though as just me chasing up my order and getting nowhere.
You had my money for 19 days before refunding me. I kept chasing and was getting nowhere.

I eventually spoke to a man who said issues with the new butchery but as it wasn’t my fault he would refund me and still send the order. I thought ‘great’ they are doing the right thing but obviously this never happened and now you are annoyed at my review.
Really not sure what you expect and what review you expect.
It was poor customer service and handled badly so I was left with little choice but to comment on the experience I had.

Demands?? You mean, my order for some chicken thighs and breasts which you were selling and I paid for but never received?
How strange you put it that way.

I can see you are a company that doesn’t take responsibility for being in the wrong. At the end of the day you cannot deny that having someone’s money for 19 days without an explanation or apology for the delay is wrong. It is also wrong to then say you will honour the order and not do so.

It’s sad because I was really looking forward to trying the chicken.

I do not recommend there website for purchases at all, I have been totally messed about by them ! My claim has just gone into PayPal for my two orders, They will not be getting any more orders from me even on there Market stall in Nantwich .. Avoid !

I wish I had read Petes review before even ordering from these people! Because my experience was EXACTLY the same as his- first no delivery, but then after 2 emails I DID get a reply saying there seems to have been a problem with my order and they would despatch immediately
Which of course they didnt. Nor did they respond to a further two emails pointing out it STILL hadnt come.
I gave up and have now raised a case to recover my money from Paypal. (perhaps repeated recoveries by them may raise a few eyebrows at Paypal??)
This attitude of theirs frankly stinks! Yes they may have a fine product but if you cannot fulfil orders for whatever reason then you shouldnt even be running a mail order!
And the ignorance of just refusing to correspond is not worthy of someone trying to run a legitimate and functional business.
AVOID ordering online from these scamsters!!

Extremely poor customer service, online order never received, broken promises. Had to open PayPal case to recover money paid as refund not sent, avoid !!!!

We've just had the gammon steaks and they were lovely & tender & so very tasty. Had the smoked back bacon at the weekend and equally as nice. Will be going back to Nantwich Market on Thursday for more & eggs & sausage too. Highly recommended.

I recently bought half a hogget and some chicken from Mark and Katie. The lamb is delicious and, as hogget can be tricky to track down, I am thrilled to have found a local supplier. The chicken was as flavourful as that from my usual supplier yet with greater consideration to husbandry and at better prices. As producers of fantastic meat, raised with respect and compassion for the animal and the environment, Mark and Katie are providing a great service to consumers both now and, through nurturing the soil/land, the future.

I met Mark and Katie at their market stall in Nantwich. I am very particular where I get my produce from but had struggled to find somewhere good for a while! I can honestly say it's the best produce I've had! I now collect weekly and they are nothing but accommodating! Unbelievable prices will 100% continue to buy and support this local farm for the foreseeable future. And just to add they are such friendly and lovely people! Couldn't recommend enough 👌

I bought some traditional pork sausages from their stall outside Nantwich market. They were the best sausages I have ever tasted. Well done. I’ll be back for more .

Bought a chicken….what a lovely chicken it was.so tasty so succulent so delicious.

Great stuff. Discovered by ballot accident at Nantwich and can honestly say I will never go back to supermarket chicken. Full of flavour and the texture is incredible.

Bacon, sausage, mutton burgers, eggs and turkey. Have tried them all and never been anything but happy with the quality.

They may cost more than supermarket stuff, but at least you are getting quality meat that isn't pumped full of water and preservatives.

Do not order online. They take your money send an order acknowledgment but then DO NOT DELIVER. To add insult to injury they then ghost you, by not answering the phone or replying to emails. AVOID

Placed an order on 23/11/2023 hoping to receive it in time for Christmas. I did not receive it in time for Christmas and still have not received it now (14/01/2024). Messaged Owl Farm via their email - they don't respond on that. They do respond via whatsapp occasionally and after many confirmations that they'd get the order out soon I eventually gave up on the order and requested a refund on the 5th Jan. Since then I have received excuse after excuse, but no refund. I can only conclude that they have no intention of refunding me or providing the goods I paid for. Appalling conduct that they should be ashamed of and I will now have to go through my bank to get the refund.

Owl Farm sausages are THE BEST sausages EVER, we won't have any other sausages. Your pigs in blankets were amazing tasted great and did not shrink. We also had some supermarket 'best' pigs in blankets which were tiny and very salty, there's no comparison. Turkey was great so juicy.
Also do great bacon and pies.
Keep doing what you're doing guys you're amazing!!

From the outdoor market in Nantwich and they have been very tasty however the last few times I’ve had them they’re not very tasty don’t taste the same some of them shrink to half the size I don’t think I will eat them again because I think they have reduced a meat and added something else

Placed my order n 7/11/2023,Order was acknowledged. Today 14/12/2023,still not received the order.After nearly 6 weeks of excuse after excuse!!!!!!
Owl Farm concentrate on their Market Sales and Turkey rearing.But ignore their Online orders.Customers deserve better.My advice is stear clear of OWL FARM for online ordering.

Nice produce, but beware online - they take your money and don’t deliver!! I’m having to fight through PayPal for a refund. Very, very disappointing - feel like a victim of fraud - I was so understanding and nice to them. They’ve taken £73 2 months ago and not refunded me or sent produce.

We love OF's bacon and sausages, both because of their taste and because we know where they've come from. Mark and Katie so obviously care about and love their farm and animals that you just know the quality is going to be the best.

What I really wanted to write about, though, is their Rare Breed Hebridean lamb. We're just waiting for our third 1/2 lamb box, and we're hooked. Quite honestly, the lamb is by a mile the best we've ever tasted. The texture and flavour is beyond adequately describing. Soft, unctious flesh, and a deep lamby (?) taste. We just finished the last half shoulder - I sous vide cooked the lamb for 24 hrs at 70C, then seared it in a hot pan - absolutely sensational!

The best sausages ever. Every other sausage dies not come anywhere near to the taste of these.

I recently bought some sausages and bacon from Owl farm from their stall outside Nantwich Market, having been told about them by my neighbour.

First, the bacon. Hands down, the best bacon I've had from anywhere around here. It was lovely and thick, with loads of flavour and none of the shrinking you get with the stuff you'd get down your local supermarket.

The sausages - yet again, it's no exaggeration when I say they were among the best I've bought. They made a great addition to the BBQ with guests asking without hesitation "where did you get these?".

It was really nice to meet the owl farm staff at the market, they're clearly passionate about their produce which is reflected in their food.

In terms of price, you are going to pay a little more for their food, but it's in a different league and worth every penny. Highly recommended.
