I've had Sam as an automatic instructor for the last few months and I would whole-heartedly recommend him to any learner. As a nervous driver, Sam has been incredibly patient with me. I've had a few instructors before, both manual and automatic, and I was making so much more progress even in just the first lesson.

Sam's service is very reliable, always arriving 15 minutes before so that we could start early if I was ready. He also tries his best to fit more lessons around his always packed schedule. His teaching is very well structured. During the lesson he would ask questions to consolidate my learning and take time to ensure I fully learn from every single mistake. He also shares resources from his website and recommends videos as 'homework' after the lesson. As I could practice with the family car he would also tell me areas I should focus on.

I also really appreciate his always standing up for me when there are encounters with reckless road users. There are unfortunately some very rude people who bully learner drivers out there. I'm pretty sure I would've lost a lot of confidence along my learning journey if not for Sam's reassurance after those unpleasant experiences.

I've been overjoyed to have passed my driving test first time. Sam did an excellent job of calming my nerves with his humour and describing exactly what happens during the test. I can't imagine passing with any other instructor!

Also it's a great bonus that his Toyota Yaris is a joy to drive!

Jan is an excellent driving instructor and has been absolutely brilliant teaching my daughter who passed today. She can be anxious and unsettled but his style is so kind and good natured that she has really enjoyed learning with him and I recommend him highly to anyone starting out on their driving journey

I passed my test last Friday (28/06) and feel ecstatic. Thanks to my instructor, Jan Hajo, for his excellent lessons throughout the last three months. I held a driver's license in the US for four years before, but driving in the UK has its own challenges. I had to make significant effort in unlearning old practices and learning how to negotiate the narrow lanes and roundabouts that are ubiquitous in the UK. Took classes from Sam the past few months and passed my test today! Before joining classes, I had very minimal driving experience and did not have opportunity to do any private practice. All my learning was through Sam, from scratch. He always catered the lessons to my level of understanding and made sure I understood the basics, and answered questions.
