First time purchaser of magazine, it looks great, however, when I purchased online I didn't get any email confirmation and I wanted to get an estimated delivery as I live abroad and need it to handbarry it back. I've been trying to reach out through the contact form as well as email and haven't heard back at all. It's been close to two weeks.

Increadibal I did not know that my mum had ordered this and I started to read it and I love it 😍

I purchased an OYLA subscription for my 12-year-old son intending to just read alongside him but ended up being the subscriber myself! To my family's amusement, when a new edition arrives, my son has to literally wrestle it from me. My knowledge is growing exponentially. I love that the information is presented in a way that feeds my curiosity without being overly technical or complex. I feel smarter each month and my appreciation and understanding of the world around me is through the roof. There's so much to discover and I'm glad that my passion for reading has been reignited. I hardly have time for gadgets and social media anymore. Flipping the pages of a real-life magazine is way more fun compared to the glare of bright screens and mindless scrolling.
One improvement; the photos could do a lot more justice to their subject matter. For example, the gardens in the April 2025 issue could have been captured in much more stunning beauty and China's Three Gorges Dam, the largest in the world, could have looked more impressive. That said, the illustrations are great and make it really easy to visualise the explanations.

Really interesting!! Thorough and understandable with explanations and detailed visuals. Easy to read and hard to put down. It’s the perfect gift for teacher. I am a student and every time I show i teacher they ask me if they can borrow it! Super fascinating and helpful if you like to know more about the world around you. It also helps you prepare for trivia! I love this magazine and I encourage everyone who likes science, interesting math, and understanding the natural world to read as many of these wonderful magazines as possible. It’s a truly fascinating read.

I get this magazine for my kids, and they absolutely love it. They get excited when it arrives.

I am writing on my Mums phone, Best thing I have ever read about in my 13 years of living. Its packed full of interesting facts and stories about people who had an impact society. It’s very useful for learning stuff while in bed. 100% recommend. It’s full of different facts and stories.

It is the perfect information for a science lover, my 10 year old can't stop reading

I have ordered 2 copies of back issues to be delivered to 2 separate addresses fro my grandchildren. The orders were placed 7 weeks ago and havent been delivered.
Tried calling their London phone and it goes to a fax machine. Really?
I'll be asking for a refund.

I bought this for the grandkids. But hold it back a week to read it myself? So interesting and diverse topics. I got the print version because I wanted to encourage them to do more reading. It worked. 8 and 10 year old boys. And they enjoy talking to grandpa about it.

I was reading my kids magazine issue of May. I like the magazine breadth and different topics. That is why it was so dissapointed to see the Aztec calendar depicted in reference to the Maya calendar in the article "Civilization in Danger"

OYLA is an amazing magazine. I have learned so much through it and it explains everything more in depth than I have ever read. It makes the most mundane, ordinary topics seem interesting and I am always so excited when I see it in the mailbox!
