When planning a trip, my husband is always obsessive about doing his research, and in researching our recent trip to French Polynesia, he came across the name Pacific For Less on a couple of different review sites. We almost never use a travel planner, but in this case, he decided to give them a call. From the start, they were incredibly accommodating and friendly; and in the end, they planned and executed an unforgettable trip of a lifetime.

My husband, through his own research, had already narrowed down our options to just a handful of resorts. But Cathi at Pacific For Less was so helpful in providing first-hand experience about each of the resorts so that we could narrow the list down to just two. Ultimately, we chose Vahine Island and La Taha'a. Pacific For Less took all the worry out of the travel process by booking all of our flights and boat transfers, as well as the hotels and any expeditions we wanted. Four flights and four boat transfers later, there was not a single glitch in the itinerary. In fact, one of our intra-Polynesian flights was delayed, and there was some concern that we might miss our connection, but before we had learned of any of the issues, Pacific For Less had it all taken care of and had already booked us on another flight. They had provided us with contact information in the event that we needed to reach them during our travels, but we never did because everything was seamless! And the resorts they recommended were absolutely perfect for our needs.

We have already talked to PFL about a return trip to French Polynesia next year. I wouldn't book through anyone else!

My husband and I recently got back from our long awaited trip to French Polynesia. We planned this trip pre-Covid, thinking we would go in 2019, well, summer of 2022 and we finally got to go on our dream trip! My husband usually handles our vacation bookings but quickly saw how overwhelming a trip like this is, so started doing his homework on travel agents who specialize in FP. He chose to try Pacific For Less and we are both VERY glad he did. Claudia and her team patiently held our hands through the original process of choosing islands, hotels, tours, etc. Then we decided to change the month we were going, they very graciously made all the changes. Now, here comes Covid, we had to rebook TWO more times. I’ll admit I was very nervous about this because we had already paid in full and FP is not an inexpensive location. But we hung in there and everything worked out incredibly well. We had to pay some airline rebooking fees, but that was about it. We stayed at Le Taha’a and the St. Regis on Bora Bora. Both were amazingly beautiful and the worst part of the trip is coming home! If you can, do it, life is too short not to. We highly recommend Pacific For Less, they were professional, friendly and ironed out every major (Covid) and minor problem that came up quickly and efficiently. This is a trip we’ll remember forever!!!

I booked a surprise trip for my wifes 60th birthday at the end of May. I never do the travel arrangements, my wife always does everything and in great detail. Can you imagine how I was dreading getting anything wrong! I was very worried until I came across the team at Pacific for Less. They were absolutely amazing, their attention to detail and high level of contact and communication were outstanding. Just when I thought the holiday was over and we were about to go home, we had to test for Covid 19 to go through the US to get back to the UK, my wife tested positive! We were in Bora Bora and had to isolate for seven days which meant delaying our travel home. Between the staff at the St Regis and Claudia at Pacific for Less, we couldn't have asked for more. I thoroughly recommend Pacific for Less, their extremely detailed knowledge and experience will ensure you have a great holiday. Just as important, when things go wrong, we were in great hands. My husband and I recently returned from our French Polynesia vacation that included spending 4 days in Moorea at the Hilton Moorea and 6 days in Bora Bora at the St. Regis. We absolutely had the time of our lives! This was, by far, the BEST vacation experience we have ever had! Everything…. and we mean EVERYTHING was truly amazing and top notch from the vacation planning, correspondence, travel, accommodations, food quality, excursions, weather, staff, etc, etc, etc. Not a single hiccup, complication or issue with anything! We opted to have a very busy itenerary....(with no regrets).... so it should speak volumes when I say "not a single hiccup." Pacific For Less arranged every aspect of our itinerary perfectly!

While at Hilton Moorea (Garden Villa with plunge pool) we did the following:

-Couples Massages- best couples massage we have had!
-ATV Adventure Tour - highly recommended and a wonderful way to see the beauty of Moorea from so many vantage points.
-Sunset Cruise Voila Moorea- highly recommended and a wonderful way to experience the spectacular FP sunsets and Moorea lagoon.

While at St. Regis Bora Bora (Overwater Villa) we did the following:

-Matira ATV & Jet Ski Tour - our morning was spent on jet skis in the perfect Bora Bora lagoon waters where we traveled around the island of Bora Bora. We were then shuttled by Matira Tours to the iconic "Bloody Mary's" restaurant for lunch. Matira Tours then picked us up after lunch to take us to the ATV part of our tour where we explored Bora Bora by land and saw some of the most beautiful views of the lagoon. Pacific for Less had all of these pick up and drop off details arranged for us so we never had to worry or stress about anything!
-Love Boat Private Tour - highly recommend! Such a wonderful day spent with my husband on a beautiful Bay-liner speedboat and playing in the most beautiful lagoon in the world! The captain was wonderful and the photographer, Sebastian was incredible. We spent 4 hours on this private tour and were provided nearly 400 pictures, taken by Sebastian, on a flash drive before we even exited the boat. He was able to truly capture the beauty of Bora Bora and the fun we experienced that day, not to mention his perfect underwater photos of us snorkeling and along the way encountering a very large moray eel! Such an amazing day!
-Raanui Shark & Ray Tour- Another spectacular day in the lagoon waters! Saved this one for last on our agenda to build up the nerve to deliberately get in the water with sharks. What an experience! To be in the water with sharks and stingrays constantly swimming around you is a feeling we have never had, adrenaline pumping for sure and so worth it! During that day an unusual thing also happened. The captain was able to spot a manta ray (about 14 feet wide/long) from the boat. Our party was able to snorkel with the manta ray....HUGE BONUS before ending our day snorkeling at the coral garden.
-Couples Massages

We greatly appreciate Pacific For Less and everything the amazing staff did to make this a vacation and anniversary to remember. We very much recognize the efforts of the staff, during the last 2 years, as we were trying to take this trip. We had to unfortunately reschedule 4 times due to Covid restrictions, but boy was it well worth the wait! Pacific For Less staff continued to be so attentive responding to my many emails and questions to ensure our trip would be perfect and exceed our expectations and it certainly did! We are so grateful for the expertise, guidance and customer service of Pacific for Less and wish they also planned trips to other parts of the world. We did meet other couples on our trip who booked through Pacific For Less, and expressed exactly the same feelings….how everything about their trip was also “perfect”. The staff is so amazing and wonderful to work with!! Just tell them what you want to accomplish and they will not steer you wrong. I loved that no matter who I contacted, I received the assistance I needed, and felt they were all truly experts of French Polynesia. We fell in love with French Polynesia and hope to be able to plan another trip there in the future. We will ABSOLUTELY reach out to Pacific For Less when that time comes to book our return to paradise!

I rarely use travel agents because my family travels extensively and we like to research places for ourselves. However, the trip to French Polynesia was a celebration of our 40th anniversary and I wanted it to be perfect. I had seen Pacific For Less mentioned a number of times in the Trip Advisor forum, and decided to contact them. It was the best decision I made.
The PFL advisors helped craft the perfect itinerary and accessed specials that gave us several complimentary excursions and amenities. Their representatives inTahiti met us and expedited us through customs and insured that we were on the boat to our first island. The accommodations recommended were great, particularly Le Taha’a, and they resolved a minor hiccup we had with our air reservation. In short, I can’t imagine that any other agency could provide as wonderful and knowledgeable service as Pacific For Less.

The service you experience with Pacific For Less is totally top notch. Our trip to French Polynesia could not have been any better. They go above and beyond to provide you the absolute perfect trip and ensure every possible detail is 100% covered!! From the accommodations to the transfers, to dinner plans, to scheduling excursions to providing detail updates, they cover it all. If you are thinking about planning a trip, contact them immediately!! You will be so happy you did and blown away by the service you receive.

We enjoyed the best vacation ever celebrating our 10th anniversary at the St. Regis Bora Bora. There are only a handful of locations that we return to because we like to explore new venues; but the St. Regis Bora Bora is number one…I am looking forward to returning for a third visit.

We were in awe ten years ago and wowed again this trip. Pacific For Less listens to what you are looking for…offers options…makes the planning easy and flexible..and totally delivers a vacation that exceeds expectations. Cathi Scritchfield was our primary contact at Pacific For Less; however every person that we had contact with at Pacific For Less was professional, responsive and over the top friendly and helpful. Cathi did an amazing job offering us options for our trip to French Polynesian..she kept us updated on the ever changing travel restrictions and requirements due to covid and offered us the option to postpone our trip which was originally scheduled for October 2021. Closer to our departure date Cathi contacted us offering to assist with planning our itinerary. We sent her a list of activities and restaurants and our preferred dates…she worked with the concierge at the St. Regis, and came back with a complete confirmed itinerary incorporating everything we requested.
Every aspect of our trip was well planned and every activity and dinner was amazing. Bottom Line: If we are fortunate to be able to return to French Polynesia…we would definitely work with Pacific For Less and would definitely elected to return to the St. Regis.

Trip of a lifetime, thanks to Pacific for Less! A much anticipated Wedding Anniversary trip, delayed by COVID, exceeded our expectations. A perfectly planned itinerary packed with exciting surprises made this trip well worth the wait. Seamless transfers and welcoming committee at every stop! Treated like Royalty! Claudia and team were great! They were quick to respond to any email with even the smallest questions. Our original trip was in 2020 and we ended up rescheduling 2 times before we made it there in May of 2022. They worked with us to pick a better date and to make sure we did not have to pay too much extra to accommodate this request. Starting in Bora Bora staying at St. Regis, all expectations have been exceeded. Accommodations at the St. Regis was excellent along with superb dining and water activities. A bucket list dream vacation became our reality. An extended stay at the Hilton in Tahiti was just icing on the cake. Great job for managing our journey. We loved it! I highly recommend booking Tahiti through Pacific for Less. This is the 2nd time we used them for a Tahiti vacation. This last time was especially challenging due to COVID. I can't imagine a better outcome though after rebooking several times. Jennifer helped us navigate through numerous trip options and gave us all of the details needed to address COVID restrictions. Jeanna took care of all of the invoices and travel documents and Claudia was very responsive when we needed guidance while on our trip. Of course the properties on Moorea and Tikehau were top notch. All of the arranged transportation while in Tahiti was on time and the representatives were very friendly. We will definitely book our next Tahiti adventure through Pacific for Less.

My husband and I have never been on a beach vacation, so we decided if we are going, we might as well go big!!! I bought a book online about Bora Bora and at the end it recommended booking your vacation through Pacific for Less. I called them and that was the beginning of our adventure. They helped us create the perfect vacation for US. We really had no expectations since we’ve never been on a beach vacation. We were blown away!!! Everyone mentions Pacific for Less’s extraordinary VIP service and that is an understatement. From the escort through customs (10 minutes tops) to the passing us off to the next transport, boat, plane, shuttle ride we felt like we were very well taken care of….. never touched our luggage. The bottle of champagne waiting for us in our bungalow, getting the OWB that we requested at Sofitel la Ora Moorea Beach Resort, taking the recommended ATV tour of Moorea (take the extended tour, well worth it) to the next recommended leg of our vacation…. the newly remodeled Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts. This place is even more stunning. We got our requested beach villa with a private plunge pool and garden…, beautiful, quiet, extremely comfortable, private deck on the beach and housekeeping service both morning and evening. The highlight of our entire trip was our recommended shark and ray tour with Raanui Tours (we booked a private tour with just us and our captain - highly recommend this personalized, fun, adventurous trip that picked us up at our resort dock). One more thing to mention is the transition room that was ours after we checked out of our villa. Our boat didn’t leave for the airport until 5:30pm so we had this nice, airconditioned room with a shower, bathroom, daybed and fresh flowers. Our vacation was a once in a lifetime adventure, thanks to Pacific for Less and their complete attention to all the little details that went into making this the most amazing trip. Mauruuru

Pacific For Less did a fantastic job planning our trip to French Polynesia. Claudia and team are experts on all aspects of trip planning. Everything went so smoothly due to their excellent planning. The resorts they helped us select were perfect. Their service is just excellent. I would highly recommend them, and already have several times. I have very high standards, so this is a very strong 5 stars!

Ok, let's start off with I'm well into my 50's and have traveled a ton. I think the last time I used an agent/packager was 2 decades ago. For my trip to Tahiti though, I used Pacific For Less, and I would never go there without them again. We booked our April 2022 back in the depths of one of the many Covid surges, Summer 2021. I was like f* this, I can't take it anymore, I'm going on a bucket list trip and Tahiti with overwater bungalows was the one I chose. Unlike Europe, US, Mexico or Japan, I didn't really know the area so I searched around and Pacific For Less sounded like an excellent agency. Honestly I just called them to get some ideas on pricing and was going to book it myself. After getting basic options (flights, hotel) I realized that I couldn't really beat their price by much so I pulled the trigger. I messaged them occasionally throughout the 10 months in between booking and leaving and they always got back to me promptly and cheerfully...but that was just the beginning. Our trip not only went off without a hitch but it seemed like everyone was in on it. Everywhere we went we had a "special VIP" line that was shorter than others or there was a person at the airport, trolley stop, boat dock with a sign with our names looking to whisk us away to the next incredible part of our journey. There wasn't a single time except on a trip to the main Bora Bora island (we stayed on a motu) that we did on our own when there wasn't someone looking out for us to take us to our next place, it was crazy. They suggested some great excursions but we only took one (which was insane, swimming with sharks and stingrays) and I wish we took more. The folks at the hotels knew all of our arrival, excursion, dinner and other plans and made sure we made everything on time. I have so many more great things to say about Pacific For Less but I think I'm running out of space. I've told everyone I know since I've been back about them and now, I'm telling you. Have fun out there!
