Beautiful quality and great price.

I found this an excellent company to work with. The staff were very willing to discuss ideas and help fine tune the final design of the kitchen. The kitchen units also seem to be of a superior quality to those found in many other suppliers, and at a quite similar cost. I think this is because the customer ultimately takes responsibility for the design, and the company focuses their resources and costs on producing higher quality units.

Good and friendly communication during the ordering and collection process.they worked well with the courier I arranged.
The cupboard I bought( ready assembled) is really good quality and feels substantial , the paintwork is excellent. So,very happy with my purchase

Painted Kitchen Co are a brilliant brand, the entire process was completely seamless, with lots of support in planning our kitchen, reasonable lead times and great communication. We are absolutely thrilled with our kitchen, especially the oak interiors, in-frame style and the flexibility to paint the units to any colour of our choice. This is a premium kitchen at a fair price, very competitive vs high street kitchen companies, which really to not offer the same product or quality, with much less transparent pricing. We couldn't recommend them more!

**Mixed Experience - Quality Has Declined**

We first used Painted Kitchens Company around five years ago and were extremely impressed with the quality. Everything was made in the UK, the doors fitted perfectly, and the whole process—from purchase to installation and painting—was flawless. The craftsmanship was top-notch, and it felt like a truly premium product.

However, having recently used the company again, the experience was quite different. I suspect the company may have changed hands, as the kitchen units now appear to be imported (I believe from China), and unfortunately, the quality has dropped noticeably. There were issues with poor finishing on some of the units, incorrect dovetailing, and doors that didn’t fit properly. I had to spend quite a bit of time adjusting cupboard doors and hinges just to get them to close properly.

The service itself was good, but the overall product is just not what it used to be. Given our experience, we sadly wouldn’t use Painted Kitchens Company again, which is a real shame considering how exceptional they were in the past.

Initially we were drawn to a competitor of their and saw that PKC was literally around the corner from them. After seeing both and looking at both sets of cabinety there was a clear difference. PKC cabinets are made of Plywood rather than MDF. PKC doors are made of Birch rather than a softer tulip wood. PKC hinges and magnets felt so much better quality. They also came primed outside and lacquered inside! The cabinetry price was a little more expensive - but this included the lacquering and priming, so in all very little difference. We would highly recommend PKC.

Honestly can't rate these people high enough, we contacted 4 different places for quotes. Painted Kitchen Co were the first to respond and we had a plan and quote the very next day. 2 other companies took almost 2 weeks to get us a quote, neither did a plan for us. And the third (a competitor just around the corner from them) never got back to us at all, despite me chasing it twice! From the 3 quotes we had PKC wasn't the cheapest but after visiting all 3 we could see why, the cabinet carcasses where head and shoulders above the others we saw. The doors closed so much better. It just felt like a better kitchen. Now its installed and painted we just love it and so does everyone else who see it. Cant rate them highly enough- Thank You.

Martin in their Christchurch branch is one of the most patient people I have ever met, I was probably a bit of nightmare customer - not making decisions and making changes constantly. He took it all in his stride and simply made the changes and sent me the revisions. No pressure, no hassle _ just good service! The kitchen is great and we love it. We would recommend (and do) to everyone.

We were recommended to PKC by a friend who we know is quite particular, so we were expecting them to good, but what we got for the price we paid is jus amazing, we had a quote from another company we took along and they were less than half the price. On closer inspections not only that, but the cabinets were made from better materials and pre primed and lacquered!!!! We have a beautiful kitchen -- Thank you PKC.

We first found out about The Painted Kitchen Co from our daughter who ordered their kitchen from this company. She loves it and having seen it ourselves we did too. We contacted them and they did a plan and quote for us the same day- Free of charge and there was no hard sell. We ordered, it arrived, it was installed and painted and we couldn't be happier.

I am a bit serial mover and have had experience of lots of kitchens and providers in my time. PKC in my opinion are probably the best I have dealt worth, quick, honest, great product, good process, no gimmicks, I could go on for ever. I will certainly be coming back for my next move- Thank You.

Having been looking around for ages and not been able to afford to Handmade kitchen I had almost given up; I then found PKC and was amazed at how quickly they got back to me and the cost of the cabinetry - it all seemed a bit too god to be to true. So, I visited their Ealing branch and met Tatenda who showed me around and answered all my questions. I ordered there and then and hoped I would get what I wanted. On delivery day I was over the moon to see the quality of what was delivered, and my builders were very impressed with the quality. The finished result is amazing and better than I had ever hoped. I would highly recommend again and again.

I have used a different company in the past for a handmade kitchen when I approached them this time their timescales were just crazy, so I found PKC, I am so pleased we did! The product is in my opinion way better, the delivery timescales were incomparable. The finished product seems more refined and I couldn't be happier.

Service was really good, they always responded quickly and accurately. There was a small delay due to an issue they had in their workshop - but this didn't affect our timescale and they kept us informed so it didn't really matter. We ended up with the kitchen we always wanted at a price we felt couldn't be better for the quality of cabinet we have, Thank you.

As an engineer i was shocked and disappointed at how many of the "high quality" kitchens on offer were made from MDF. I think found Painted Kitchen Company and loved that they used oak veneered plywood, which is by far the best material to use.. Having visited their Christchurch showroom, I was sold. We have now had our kitchen finished for around a month and its beautifully made and beautiful to look at - I would highly recommend them to anyone.
